If you ordered stamped editions, you got them without the card holder. (they are actually more rare, than the FDCs, because almost everyone ordered "unstamped" ones, because they thought, collectors want mint and fresh ones. But actually the stamp is really cool and the "stamped" stamp still is mint... it is just a nice feature, but makes the stamps even rarer.
Some big post offices had big boxes of stamps... actually just the biggest offices in the capital cities. The stamps in the boxes also didn't have the holders.
All other stamps came with the yellow stamp holders.
I cannot provide full data, unfortunately... I mean how many stamped and unstamped and FDCs were sent out. So far this is all I know.

Received two seperate shipments of stamps...one had the yellow attachment cardboard on all stamps and the other did not..just stamps...I wonder why?
Anyway..need to find time to see what colors i got...if any!
Because the post offices also had boxes with many many stamps without card holders. I bought almost a whole box for example, but all without card holders. |

Hi All, Finally the stamps I ordered cleared the customs and coming home tomorrow or Wednesday, just wanted to check if someone is interested in any particular colors that they would like to buy? (these are the ones that one of my friend picked up from 3 different Post Office, still waiting on the direct shipment from the Austrian post to ship) Don't expect any payments till I have these in hand and post some pictures. Just asking people if they do like to reserve some. Online and at offices. I actually made a trip to Austria last week (Monday) and already most offices were sold out. And for the math geeks, here are your chances for red stampa depending on your size of order (numbers on x-axis):  DARK BLUE = Chance to get exactly ONE red stamp. RED = Chance to get exactly TWO red stamps. YELLOW = Chance to get exactly THREE red stamps. GREEN = Chance to get exactly FOUR red stamps. DARK LIGHT BLUE = Chance to get FIVE OR MORE red stamps. BROWN = Chance to get exactly NINE red stamps. How are you doing this calculation and based on what? How much is the chance for 1000 stamps? |

not "most" people... just "some" people  If you got such a box before they sold out you are lucky. In my area they are mostly also sold out in the post offices. |
