201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Price stabilization on: January 23, 2018, 12:56:21 AM
There are two things that have caused this dip. Note that the dip is as a result of fear arising from attempt by Governments to control Bitcoin.

Why does the Government want to control? It is due to the volatility. The growth of Bitcoin was too astronomical that every person should be scared. Bitcoin was becoming too expensive for any meaningful system to accommodate.

Again, the issue of control. Because of the absence of control, I believe, there was massive manipulation that lead to the sharp rise to the all time pick of $19,000.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: January 23, 2018, 12:46:16 AM
I have experienced four big drops since I am into cryptocurrency. After every drop the price raised a lot and it went higher that it was before. I don't think the game is over now
I agree with you. The game is not over. Some have attributed this to price correction which I think is it. The functionality of P2P payment across the web enhanced by Bitcoin cannot be wished away just like that.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin have risen a little slowly? on: January 23, 2018, 12:41:20 AM
I think if bitcoin rose quite steadily and slowly people wouldn't look at the best cryptocurrency with an "evil eye". Going forward, do you think a slow steady rise, rather than a speedy erratic rise is good for bitcoin to get "accepted" all over the world? The sudden rise seems to scare people and  governments.

No, the problem in here is that bitcoin had a drastic change on the price on December, and that was not natural my friend..

Just look at the charts, and tell me.. Do you really think that a "pump" from $7,800 to more than $19,500 in just one week and two days are "normal"?

It is not, and that was the main thing of why a lot of whales decided to take profit in there.

So what do we have now?... Of course, we are on a death market right now, but it is still normal just like it was before (one month ago i mean, maybe)

Your explanation goes to prove that the sharp rise is responsible for this whole 'eye' on Bitcoin. If it has risen more steadily, this clamp down wouldn't have been.
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Convert your BTC to LTC/ETH ASAP on: January 22, 2018, 03:37:47 PM
For Ethereum, I agree but LTC, I will exercise caution because the founder of litecoin recently divested from the coin making the future of the coin doubtful.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do in this Dip on: January 22, 2018, 03:32:54 PM
It is a trying time for new comers like me. But from the explanations I have read from this forum, it is panic that will make one to sell off his assets. This dip is tempting the endurance of holders of crypto assets.
206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: impact of social media on: January 21, 2018, 04:31:56 PM
Social media is not bad. We should not conclude that it social media that is the problem. The wrong use of social media by wrong thinking persons that is the problem. Because of social media, you can connect with friends and family faraway. Social media has exposed serious crimes and atrocities hitherto hidden. Social media has helped in mass mobilization for social and political reforms. Etc. Social media has added to society.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: January 21, 2018, 09:21:03 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Surely we all here have heard: bitcoin can help you become rich. And you participate in bitcoin also nurture the dream of making a lot of money. Bitcoin can bring you huge double, triple or even quadruple profits. But once you are down, you can lose. It's like a double-edged sword has to play to accept.
Bitcoin is really double edged sword. But it surely depends on your choice of investment. There are so many gambling sites promoting quick returns. If you fall to the wrong side, your dream of making it with Bitcoin will be charted. And the reverse could be the case if you get the desired result from your risky investment.
208  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to overcome depression? on: January 19, 2018, 04:20:13 PM
Hi, I just wanna ask how to overcome depression? I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?
A depressed person need the company of others to stay alive. The tendency to end life is over 50%. The best is what she has done by confiding in you her state of emotion. One of the best steps is to move her away from the environment she is. Seeing new things could fascinate her thereby taking her mind away from depressing thoughts.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 18, 2018, 12:46:36 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
All of the suggested options are platforms for investing money. Just which will yield more interest is the decision to take. The lower the risk, the lower the interest return. Online investment as seen in investing in crypto is highly risky and yields better returns.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 02:32:54 AM
You are very much predicting the rise of ethereum in 2018 and beyond. Most likely it will overtake BTC in market cap volume but if that will happen in 2018 is what I am not sure.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It was bitcoin 2017. It will be ethereum 2018. on: January 14, 2018, 07:35:08 AM
I am also viewing Ethereum this year as you. The awareness of aEthereum as the potent of the cryptoecosystem is unfolding. So the value will soar.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherium crazy growth!!! on: January 10, 2018, 01:33:22 PM

213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin. on: January 10, 2018, 01:28:59 PM
Did I read free ICO? Nothing is free even in Freetown.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: January 09, 2018, 10:38:46 AM
Investment decisions differ from person to person. FOMO will make some persons sell bitcoin and invest in another coin whose value is increasing more rapid than BTC at the moment.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best browser for Etherdelta??? on: January 09, 2018, 01:19:29 AM

218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is year of Crypto Exchange? on: January 07, 2018, 04:10:47 PM
There will continue to be improvements in the exchanges in 2018. There is no longer speculation on the acceptance of cryptocurrencies. So any exchange not updated will die off.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-ICO] - AIDA P2P service | First Interactive Sale on: January 02, 2018, 04:27:11 PM
Impressive outlay. 10 years experience in the industry and bringing such to international acknowledgement is quite commendable.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin to buy? on: January 02, 2018, 04:20:49 PM
ETH, Ripples, CND, Storm, are altcoins to look out for in 2018. Some may even go 10X. The signs are there.
