India will most probably win this one unless their bowlers mess up big-time. Bhuvi will probably be the X-factor.

Also, Dhawan - 98(Sad) and Rahul - 62. This is why I called them great assets currently and Kohli along with the team management made the right choice silencing the critics.

Instead of whining about their failures here and there, it's better to focus on their achievements in all formats of Cricket. This is why I strongly believe that these 2 players deserve more chances in the future.

"Silenced the critics?" They got a dozen chances and finally they performed. The difference is that the younger players such as Shaw, Gill and Kishan were dropped after just one bad performance. Anyway, now their slot seems to be confirmed for the rest of the year and let's see how that works for them. Prasidh Krishna had a disappointing debut, and he gave away 37 runs from 3 overs. Apart from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, other bowlers are conceding too many runs.
Finally he took The wicket of Roy, Eng is still in the dominating position because they just need another 183 runs in the next 35 overs so Ind need more wickets which will shatter the Eng batting line up for sure. Good to see that Dhawan and Rahul is getting their form back and the debutant Krunal was excellent in the final overs.

Until now both the openers are playing calm and controlled, not taking too many risky shots. And its good to see both of them have a good start and they need to convert them into 50s or bigger than that to take the team into the winning side. About the pitch, looks flattish so this could be a high scoring game in my opinion.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 23, 2021, 07:26:44 AM
Left-Right combination is important so i think Kohli & co would prefer Shikhar over Gill and KL Rahul, at least for the 1st match. If Shikhar fails there then KL Rahul would get 2nd chance over Gill.
Kohli said that he is going with Rohit and Dhawan combination for this pitch who are perfect openers in the past but in the recent time Form of Dhawan is not in great position but still he will be given the chance hopefully. I am eagerly waiting for the toos which is coming in the next few minutes meanwhile Krunal and Prasid got their caps today means they are going to be in the laying XI but expected Surya Kumar Yadav to play because he played well in when the chance was given to him in T20. Smiley

Edit: Eng won the toss and they decided to bowl first.

Haha It was really a great match today. Even though Malan and Butler tried their best to make a win today but the rest of the squad didn't show any support to them. I think another thing that India realized today is that their bowling does lacks experience. Thakur, Sundar & Natrajan even though bowled good at the end but were not able to break the very important partnership this thing becomes even more problematic in T20s as your prime experienced bowler which was Bhuvi had only 4 Limited overs. On batting I think this should be the new batting line up for India atleast when batting first.
When quality batsmen gets going then every bowler can get pretty much hammered every where. Hardik too went for runs in his first over but once Bumrah-Shami joins the fast bowling squad along with Bhuvi, Thakur, Chahar and Natrajan then it should be fine with the experience and variance.

Koach said that he will open for RCB as well so if he's succeed as opener then its big plus from India's perspective and he want to include more all rounders in T-20 format so Jadeja-Hardik or in some extent Shardul-Sundar-Krunal Pandaya-Axar role would become important for him.

5 Pure batsmen + 1 batting allrounder + 2 bowling allrounder + 3 pure bowlers . With this setup N0 8 can also do a bit of batting for the team and we can get 6 bowling options.
Kohli will be looking to score as much as he can on the important matches for sure but even though he is doing all the time for RCB they failed to enter into the qualifiers but I guess this time they will look to break that curse record oj RCB by atleast entering into the top 4.

LORD THAKUR!!!!!
I asked him to do the same duo wicket over and he did exactly the same, I was watching the match completely and the credits should also go to the Bhuvi who kept the bowling tight and asked the batsman to take over him which took the partnership which almost lasted for 10 runs if I am not wrong. Surprisingly he was given the man of match for that turn around while Virat took the player of series even though he is at the bad form. Cool

God save the bowlers. Queen
You Commonwealth peeps  Tongue

First Hitman, then Surya kumar Yadav's cameo, followed by Kohli masterclass and Kungfu Pandya hitting..

What else you need when Top 4 batsmen perform like this in T-20. Shame that there is no spectators on the stands. England Batting line up has all the ingredients to win the match but big target pressure is always there, Would love to watch Buttler and Malan (especially him) if they gets going. Hoping for cracking chase from no 1 team.

India playing with 6 bowlers today so it should be good contest.
Until now Eng batsmen hitting every Indian bowlers with no mercy and they are still in the contest after the first 10 overs.

Need 107 from 56 balls and with 9 wickets in hand then it is certainly possibly.

Lord Rakur can do the same miracle again and turn the match into Indian side? Waiting for the moment... Grin

I think the most interesting thing I have heard today is that it's Captain Kohli along with Hitman who would be opening up the proceedings for the team. Let's see if he actually does. On Rahul I am feeling bad for him but this is how things are Indian team is ultra competitive when it comes to bench strength. But yeah most interesting thing to watch today will be hitman Kohli show. Let's see what impression they make today.
Hell yeah, Kohli did open beautifully for RCB few times so why not? Deep down everyone wanted him to open when other batsmen were failing, score board doesn't look good when it shows 1 for 10 everytime. So i'm excited as well, hoping that this experiment clicks.

----
If this pair can squeeze power play well then it would be great from India's perspective.
Until now India is now scoring over 10 an over and now 15th over is on the run now. Just now watched the exceptional running one hand catch from Hoedan which removed the Surya Kumar Yadav. 8 wickets in hand can India pass 200 with the power hitters remaining in the batting order. Another surprising move is to bring Pandaya over Iyer and Pant when leg spinner was bowling.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 20, 2021, 08:37:26 AM
-----------------
So we have series decider, excepting cracking Saturday.

This would be my team for today

Kishan
Rohit
Surya
Kohli
Shreyas
Pant ( if need quick runs then Pant could play ahead of Shreyas at no 5, move Shreyas at no 6)
Pandaya
Shardul
Bhuvi
Sundar (He was expensive in the last game but conditions were tough when he came to ball so going with him again or Should Lord Tewatia play in the final game?)
Chahar

Tricky situation with the 5 bowler setup but no other choice as Jadeja is not there.
This seems the perfect playing XI for the decider but it seems Kohli willing to stick with KL Rahul even after the disappointing everytime, hooe this time Ishan Kisan and Surya Kumar Yadav will get slots. About Takur he should be the man because 3 spinners may end up into chaos if they are defending a total and also the dew factor may plays a role.
209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: whale tactics? on: March 20, 2021, 05:22:47 AM
Whale tactics may works only if yiu have trading capital which is enough to alter the price of bitcoin itself for that you may need few millions to execute it properly. But the strategy is similar, sell when the price is high and wait for the price to be lowered then buy again hold it until the price gets higher.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: tokens of start-up companies? on: March 19, 2021, 07:31:23 PM
Hello everyone. I would like to know your opinion about start-up companies that create and develop their own product, and at the same time create their own tokens to get some investments. (The question is inspired by the company Neurogress).
The main idea of these is :
1)Get some investments.
2)Offer to people your product.
3)Attract a lot of attention to your development.
4)Make your token "rise in price".
After all, the company has a good product that makes money, "cryptocurrency" that has risen in value, and those guys, who bought tokens on time, will earn a little (or maybe a lot) on this.
Correct me please if i misunderstand the main idea of these company! thanks!
So the intention for the creation of the token is to raise money to develop their startup? People will not be interested on such cases they will be looking to make money quicker that is why most people choose cryptocurrencies. But in crypto there is no start up or big company everything can be decentralized that is where the future lies.
211  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: March 19, 2021, 04:06:46 PM
One question popped to my mind: they talk about a special withdrawal system to enhance privacy:
Quote
We use a sophisticated coin selection algorithm tailored to bustadice when handling payments in order to offer our players and investors industry-leading privacy. Not everyone needs to know you're gambling!
Can somebody explain?
I don't find much details about this in the FAQ section but as far as I know Bustadice is not paying the users from the same wallet all the time, they keep multiple cold storage wallets so each time you request for a withdrawal the transaction comes from different addresses which is what the quote is mentioning.
212  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: wallet registration on: March 19, 2021, 02:09:48 PM

To prove that the wallet is mine

Decentralized wallets don't need KYC so you can't prove that the wallet was created under your name but you can prove the wallet ownership like other said by signing in a message from the address or simply send dust amount to the one who wants to know that this address under your possession.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance smart chain is centralized ? on: March 19, 2021, 11:54:38 AM
I love bsc and its totally backed by binance. Recently heard that this is centralized and nods with binance

What is nods and how become centralized ?
AFAIK, yes. It is centralized and the reason why they use the centralized blockchain is to proceed more transactions in less time which means cheaper transaction price and more projects can be utilize the chain. But the projects running on the chain are mostly decentralized because now Defi projects are using BSC due to insane fees on the ethereum network.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 19, 2021, 09:09:33 AM
The way Yadav and Panth batted I do not think it was possible for England to restrict the Indian team score under 180. It would not have been a closed matched if the Indian spinner duo were able to utilise the pitch. Shardul Mishra for me was the star bowler of yesterday's match and not Bhuvaneshwar kumar or Hardik Pandya. In the end after losing the toss India did win the match.

Indian spinners were wayward. Washington Sundar in particular gave away so many easy pickings for the batsmen (he went for 52 runs from his 4 overs). Shardul Thakur bowled well, but he was expensive in his first spell. He managed to pick up wickets in the end, because by then the required run rate was close to 15 runs per over. The best bowlers for India were Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya. They were the ones who kept pressure on England, by bowling with a very tight line.
I guess the tight bowling and wicket taking bowler is also a deadly combo because when the run rate need kept rising so batsmen need to take risk of hitting the every balls which will give opportunity to take some wickets as well that is what exactly happened last night.1o runs an over is a bit expensive but the 4 wickets will compensate everything because he was the reason to win the match to be honest.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 18, 2021, 04:56:12 PM
Looks like India will win this match, despite the fact that they batted first after losing the toss. England has lost crucial wickets at regular intervals. Their batsmen literally threw away their wickets to useless shots. And at the same time, the required run rate has shot past 11.00. Now it will take a miracle to rescue England, and as long as the Indian bowlers are doing their job tightly, I don't see any such miracle around the corner.
Need 86 from 42 balls but they have 7 wickets in hand which included some of the big hitters so taking quick wickets may stop Eng from winning this match. Bhuvi and takur are going to bowl the death overs who is weak compared to Bumrah so Eng will take the match deep and will take away the match with some big hits in the last 4 overs.

Moreover there is lot of dew so Ind is losing this match as well in my opinion.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 18, 2021, 03:41:57 PM
I do think a score above 180 will be competitive in this wicket.
It might be competitive and India just lost another wicket and that was the settled batsman Suryakumar Yadav and as long as Pant can swing the bat India could reach above 160 runs and they still have Hardik Pandya to come out and he is known to hit huge sixes, not sure about his recent form but if he is fit he can score quickly.

Archer and Wood has two overs each and it is not easy to score easily against them.
Pant and Shreyas helped India to score 185 which is too good when we compare the way IND started their innings and kudos to Yadav who utilized his one chance well and hope he will get a regular spot in T20. As others said KL Rahul keep disappointing again and again so he should be replaced with Ishan in the final T20I. But I have a question whether IND have good bowling team to defend even though the score is above par?
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 18, 2021, 01:54:35 PM
England Won the toss again, lol anyone betting on England?

I believe that this time India is going to win. Very surprising to see the second change that India made. Rahul Chahar has been included in the place of Yuzvendra Chahal. I was expecting the inclusion of Suryakumar Yadav, but the decision to drop Kishan surprised me. Ishan Kishan has been kicked out of the playing XI in order to accommodate Suryakumar Yadav. This is extremely unfair from the part of the selectors. Kishan performed really well in the second match and just one failure and he is out. So what is the justification for sticking with KL Rahul despite three consecutive failures?
This is not new because Shastri and virat combo always make decision like these but Surya Kumar Yadav got a chance hope he will utilize it. Rohit sharma went to pavilion too soon now KL Rahul and Yadav is on the middle, you know already Yadav started to play destructively from the first ball itself at the rate of 250sr. Cool
218  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: use wallet imported from amory offline within electrum on: March 18, 2021, 06:19:31 AM
Thanks for clearing the doubt, because I came across an article where they mentioned you can also use the private keys to create a watch-only address, probably it was available in old version or never had such a feature?
There are some misleading articles online, that is why forums like Bitcointalk are very important to get valuable information. How private key is designed, it is designed to fully recover your wallet. The private key itself can generate signature anytime you want to spend, but public keys and addresses can not generate the digital signature, which means they can not be used to spend (but only used as watch-only). So, addresses and public keys can not generate digital signature, in which they can not be used to spend but only as watch-only wallet. In this regard, the private key is very important, it is able to generate the public key and the address will be generated, while generating digital signature to unlock bitcoin on blockchain and spend it which can not make it be used as watch-only on wallets but to spend. In this regard, anyone that has the private key generated by a particular wallet can be use to unlock and spend the bitcoin the private keys controls on blockchain.
Yup you are right, but actually, I misread the information in the article or just did in a hurry (probably) where they mentioned entering master public key to create a watch-only wallet or enter private key to create a spending wallet.Anyway, I got it now and used my PC this time to read those info, kind of dizzy when reading an article that contains a lot of information on a smaller screen. Lips sealed

It's been two days ago that I had difficulty accessing https://ethplorer.io/, has anyone experienced the same thing?
because today I got an email containing updates to the features that exist in Ethplorer, is this correct?

It is working now, maybe you tried to access when the update was happening.

And their updated features are quite useful as well but don't give your primary email or telegram username to get alerts because you also may get lot of spam messages after that.

1st T-20 - Eng won the toss and  won convincingly.
2nd T-20 - Ind won the toss and again one-sided game
3rd T-20- - Eng won the toss and duh...

This Eng vs Ind T-20 series setting a weird template. Strategy from the both captains is, let's win the toss and ball first, easy peasy  Grin . 3 games and we are yet to watch any real contest, let's hope this pattern ends here.

I hope the next match will not be one sided. The players have played 3 T20s in the same field. My guess is that the players on both teams understand the condition of the pitch well. If any team will be able to   a target of 170-180 runs by batting first, they will be a possibility of winning the fourth match. But I hope England will win the next match. Apart from Kohli, no Indian top-order batsman seems to be in form. It is difficult to win a match relying only on middle order batsmen.
Yup, team India will be trying their best to win the match while the Eng is slthe strongest will not let their winning streak out of their hand. One day left for the 4th ODI and is there any update about the team selection by officials or atleast predictions?
