201  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the difference between these two? on: March 28, 2015, 01:01:44 AM
And what might it be reserved for?
202  Other / Off-topic / What is the difference between these two? on: March 28, 2015, 12:48:14 AM

One is a store of something, valuable to some, meh to others. In this case the glass can store water or other liquids. The other is just paper I could use to wipe my but.
203  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Bulgarian Rakia for BTC on: March 27, 2015, 11:51:43 AM
Rakia=Alcohol in case anyone couldn't figure it out.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Satoshi number on: March 27, 2015, 12:01:15 AM
I dare say this is pretty pointless.
205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Decentralized Army on: March 25, 2015, 10:09:20 AM
OP is proposing a network of mercenaries who accepts bitcoin as payment. I think mercs prefer hard cash.
Was about to say this as well. The term is mercenary.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal Accepting Bitcoin Payments!?!?!?!?!?! on: March 23, 2015, 12:56:55 AM
I'm not interested in hearing news about Paypal until I see a Bitcoin balance there, the CEO has proven himself to be completely full of shit.
Well, if you look at it from a certain viewpoint, we're all full of shit, quite literally.
207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has TOR Been Compromised? on: March 22, 2015, 10:55:05 PM
Honestly, I wouldn't trust Tor for any Bitcoin related stuff. Treat it as compromised and stick with your own PC.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you learn about Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2015, 02:45:00 PM
On overclock.net back in April 2011. This is also the reason the price went to $30 as Bitcoin was exposed to a very large audience of computer enthusiasts, your truly included.
209  Other / Off-topic / Re: March 14, 2015 - 9:26:53 will be epic on: March 10, 2015, 11:36:15 AM
Most of us never have. I admit, I want to taste one.
210  Other / Off-topic / Re: [b]Professional trading company looking for regional representatives on: March 10, 2015, 09:59:16 AM
I would be very wary of people using the bold tag in a thread title when they should know it doesn't work there. But most importantly, a .hk TLD and considering the recent mycoin.hk scam....tough.
211  Other / Off-topic / Re: March 14, 2015 - 9:26:53 will be epic on: March 10, 2015, 09:58:02 AM
Well his mother said she'd make pie so...

212  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.info wallet hack attempt? on: March 10, 2015, 09:48:20 AM
It might be a phishing email to get you to click and log in. Have you checked? Post the email details here including the actual email address it was sent from.
Sounds like he got phished then. He probably entered his password...
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Marshals for sale: 50,000 bitcoins on: March 10, 2015, 09:37:48 AM
Can I buy one US marshal, as per the thread title?

Joke aside, I am glad they were bought at/above market price.
214  Other / Off-topic / Re: Skype Issue on: March 08, 2015, 12:54:37 PM
What? How it can happen mate?

And If i want to recover , please tell me how to do it?
First check if you still control your email account.

You can try resetting your password via e-mail, however somebody who has stolen your skype has likely changed it.

Or, there is simply an issue with Skype.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The proof-of-work is spurious and not useful computation on: March 08, 2015, 12:47:53 PM
Perhaps Satoshi didn't have enough time to make it more useful than simply securing the network.
216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Skype Issue on: March 08, 2015, 12:20:35 PM
Well duhh, somebody changed your password and stole your Skype.
217  Other / Off-topic / If you are a Wagner or a Weiner, you might be a criminal. on: March 07, 2015, 04:14:24 AM
Continuing off my previous post, what's up with people called Bruce/Burt Wagner or Bryce Weiner all being well, bad guys? What is with these B.W initials that causes such change into a person's psyche?
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bryce Weiner attempted to tip ISIS!? on: March 06, 2015, 08:32:51 PM
Has anyone noticed, it's always people with the B.W initials that do stupid/bad things? Bruce Wagner, Burt Wagner, now this guy.
219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed or Alcohol? on: March 06, 2015, 07:42:15 PM
Weed is a lot less dangerous and less habit forming.

Smiley
Both are equally dangerous.

That's not true at all.

No-one has ever died from being "too high", yet many people have died from alcohol poisoning.

By decriminalizing weed the dangers associated with criminal elements disappears as well. When it comes to organized crime, you are just as likely to get hurt or killed if you are dealing with baby food as you are dealing with pot.

Marijuana has been demonized (for approx. the last 80 years) by the establishment (and friends) in order to suppress its medicinal (and textile) value in favor of other less abundant, therefore more controllable and profitable ones. Prior to this era, the medical community was enamored by it and preferred it over other medicines in use today, namely aspirin.
The moment this thing hits the streets, I can already imagine people being high all the time, too high to being productive, too high to run cities, too high to drive. This will blow up in people's faces.

People will tell you to just try it, it's no longer illegal, you take a whiff and your money will be going to getting that whiff again.
220  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Check if your BTC-key is vulnerable on: March 06, 2015, 02:08:00 PM
This software is great, but does not provide any value to the users.
I am pretty sure, that reused R values will be detected within milliseconds and the private keys emptied immediately.
So if your funds are gone, you have reused a R value ;-)
This was what I was going to say. Any re-used R-value will be detected and exploited within 20 seconds.
