201  Economy / Marketplace / Re: issues on the internet on: June 11, 2018, 09:16:39 AM
do you think positive and negative issues about cryptocurency on the internet will affect the rise and fall of the price of cryptocurency. therefore I have an opinion, what if we make a positive issue about cryptocurency that may make or affect the rise and fall of the market price of cryptocurency and here we are in a very big community, isn't that likely to affect globally ?
and how do you think about it ?, I want to see opinions from your side of perspective
 Thank you for your concern

Cryptocurrency has different issues in the internet. Some are negative and others are positive but either way both played a big role in the market price. The revolutionary trend of cryptocurrency affected the global community due to the internet that is commonly used anywhere in the world. It is easy to spread different kinds of news may it be negative or positive. Crypto itself is one of the main issues now that spread like virus in the internet.

203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would make you trust an ICO? on: June 10, 2018, 10:56:47 AM
Hi all,
I am part of the Maxdata.io team.
As part of an ICO marketing team - you always strive to show your ICO in the most transparent and candid way possible.
So I decided to ask you the community - What would make you trust an ICO?

All answers will be highly appreciated!

Thanks
GL:HF

I trust an ICO when they are reputable and experienced managers that have several ICO experiences. How viable their projects platform also matters to me. The most important thing is that they are giving you assurance like very transparent with their every move. I do trust ICO because I actually income generating and profitable for me. And it is actually giving me extra income that helps me with my daily need to support my family.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2018, 12:13:40 PM
How many idiots who decided to invest in bitcoin!!!!!!!

It is necessary not to watch as he grows from 15000 to 17000. This is a visual illusion.
And as it grows from 1.5 to 1.7.....

In recent days printed 180 million tether and still no big growth....
Lending on the stock exchange came to a billion dollars.
The credit rate on the day was a record and more than the 0.103%.

This means that the market has reached its peak. The price of cryptocurrency maximum.
This is the moment when you have to sell everything.

So began a process of growth needs the infusion of more money.... They're gone.

I think the joy of endless growth to an end this weekend.

Nothing in this world is eternal and permanent.....
And rising prices of bitcoin are not eternal.... all ends already.....

I don’t think investing bitcoin is a stupid decision, how can someone be wrong of choosing to invest in bitcoin? Also with your idea that the market has reached its peak. That is not possible the cryptocurrency has just started to boom and is continually expanding its worldwide adaptation.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: June 09, 2018, 07:17:13 AM
I am not sure if I am putting this in the right section.

Anyway, what are some of your guys biggest bitcoin losses?  Did many people here loss everything with Mtcox?  For me it is online casinos.  I do have a moderate gambling habit so it was bound to happen.  Cry

My biggest personal bitcoin loss was about .195BTC when my etherwallet was hacked. It was stolen from me because of my negligence. I didn’t able to keep my pinkey in a secure place.
206  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I want to buy merit from a forum member ???? on: June 08, 2018, 10:57:57 PM
I apologize to you all because I had such a question. Actually I do not understand the rules of the forum. I will forget this story, instead I will contribute on the forum. Thank you for letting me understand the problem ( I edited my post)

Merit is something you will earn for giving a good and informative posts in the forum. What you did will lead you to red trusts that ruin your reputation. Good until now no one give it to you. Just be yourself give some good posts so that someone will give you the merit that you deserve.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 08, 2018, 12:30:49 PM
Personally, I started to be interested in crypto currency because of its idea and technology, but now I'm more trying to make money with the help of it.
So, why are you interested in cryptocurrency?
I think it's the good topic for discussion!

Why I am interested with cryptocurrency it is because of several good reaaons. Cryptocurrency brings a lot of opportunities and fortune to the people specially to those who are less fortunate. It gives hope to reach the financial success that most people are dreaming about.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: June 08, 2018, 04:14:34 AM
An economy is a zone of the production, appropriation, or exchange, and utilization of merchandise and enterprises by various operators. Comprehended in its broadest sense, 'The economy is characterized as a social area that underlines the practices, talks, and material articulations related with the production, utilize, and administration of assets'. Monetary specialists can be people, organizations, associations, or governments.

The economy in my country so far is good I can see that is improving and developments are in the process. The government is working in several aspects as to improve people’s lives and with the help of cryptocurrency many people in our country elevated their lives.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: June 07, 2018, 01:43:56 PM
Silly question right? Smiley
Unless there is a backup method or heritage system it obviously vanishes for eternity, but the point was to discover methods that you are aware for avoiding such risks.

Well, it's not a risk, it's a certainty, but there are other risks of losing access to the crypto account aswell.
Some like:
* death... obviously
* house burns down along with hard wallet
* one can accidently loose his cold storage or hard wallet
* maybe other you figure out and I add them

So, what storage do you use to ensure your savings, or what do you think would be the best solution to overcome these risks?

UPDATE: I started this discusion because I can't see a decentralized solution for that, most of the centralized ones are largely known (wills at layers, online wallets and so on) but do not meet the security criteria as still imply a trusted party. Better simply handover the private key directly to the inheritant IMO.

What I want to determine is if it IS realy a concern for the comunity or not, and if yes than we can contribute all together to the creation of a such product. But again I realy do think it should be built decentralized and trustless.

I think you should save all important data in several USB which includes your bitcoin username and password, your wallet pin keys and other necessary information. Put it in different places and the other will be given to your closest family member. So if the house burn you still have back-up and if in case of death someone can retrieve it.

211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: June 05, 2018, 02:45:27 PM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

I don't have a stable monthly income in the bounties because it depends on the value of the token. And also the bounties wont give a monthly pay out that is why I cannot say how much I earn a month.  And with my rank I cannot earn as big as 1K USD/month. That is really a big money if that is the case.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got my rewards for first successful bounty campaign I joined on: June 05, 2018, 07:19:07 AM

Please ignore the NewPiedPiperCoin!

I wrote this new thread to express the feeling felt after receiving this XPST tokens from Pokersports bounty program that I joined for couple of weeks of doing the task required by the platform. Simply posting / sharing the links from their Facebook page as well as making a tweet or retweets at their Twitter account able me to received 12,000 XPST.

That is equal to more than 1ETH, as a newbie to this crypto bounty hunting I have no idea how to trade this token and convert into cash. This is one of my task to learn for now for me to have experienced how everything works especially on trading. I just can't believe to have this thousands of XPST token but thanks to this ICO and to this bounty program.

Well, I studied and read the updates of this token and saw that they are already listed in Bitpaction and Idex but haven't tried trading to those exchange sites. Still reading how it works, maybe in few days coming I will try to trade with small amount first just to experience. This bounty program is really helpful to lot of people, all we need is to work hard on doing the task required, I was inspired to work hard on this bounty program for me to earn more tokens, earn more money.

Want to say thanks to my online friend who introduced me to this program! Not to mention their names, 2 generous people who never ignore every questions I asked the day I started until today.

I have a few questions in mind hope to have a response from my co bitcointalk members for me to have an idea!

1. Is Bitpaction & Idex a reliable exchanges?
2. For Pokersports Token holders out there, any advice on what to do to my tokens? Do I need to hodl this? And if I do, until when? Any updates, news and prediction about the tokens we have?

Thank you for reading this thread and for the respect! Have a great day everyone and let's keep bounty hunting!

Wow! Congratulations on your first pay out. It is really feels great to receive our first pay from bounty. Everybody feels that too on their first time.  IDEX exchange indeed a nice exchange it is reliable one. Goodluck to you.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: June 05, 2018, 05:55:56 AM
I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.

I think bitcoin need to improve is the transaction here because there are so many other cryptocurrency that are wanted to overpass bitcoin and make their transaction fast and also there are so many issue that bitcoin is use by the criminals because the transaction here is so secured and no one will find what you do to it.

I think bitcoin is good already but needs to improve its security, privacy and high cost transaction fees. Also there very low transaction processing. Just a little improvement to make it even better.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over 90% of ICOs are a scam on: June 05, 2018, 05:23:12 AM
I invested in about 10 projects, but none of them was a scam. But according to statistics, most of them are scam.

Yes, I have been investing and joining bounties in several ICOs but none I have encountered a scam so far. Fortunately, I didn't experienced being scammed by ICOs and hoping that it will not happen to me. I made sure the project is legit by making thorough research about the project. Crypto is risky so we must know to protect ourselves.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: June 03, 2018, 07:29:57 AM
Anything that is too much is not good. In gambling for instance if you do gambling too much without limits it can cause big problems in the future. It should be done for fun and not a source of income.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 03, 2018, 01:15:27 AM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?

Wise thing to do is invest the other half of the savings and the other half I will deposit it. Then later on if the invested half will come out profitable then part of it will be deposited again and the other will be invested again. And so on, until my money will grow as time goes by.
217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty - Report Editing on: June 02, 2018, 01:12:44 AM
Hi,

I can't get stakes for the campaigns which I edit my report, I think I'm doing wrong, can you help me how should I edit my post? Should I quote insted of edit?

Thanks in advance.

You must follow what the bounty told you to do. Bounty campaigns have different style when it comes to reporting of posts, some want to quote some advice to reply. Others want a single report you just need to edit your report every week. It really depends on them because they very strict when it comes to that. You be guided accordingly.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which do you think is the biggest problem in the crypto market? on: June 01, 2018, 01:46:14 PM
1. Volatility
2. Security
3. Price Manipulation
4. Regulation

¿Another?

Join the poll: https://twitter.com/Globcoin_io/status/999728872840204294

Problems of crypto market in addition to volatility, security, price manipulation and regulation is the fake and illegitimate ICOs that came out from nowhere to victimized. The phishers that are very rampant online. It must be taken cared of to protect all internet users.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: June 01, 2018, 01:10:34 PM
Myetherwallet is the most common wallet used by most bitcoin users specially the new comers. It is very easy to acquire and easy to use. Then later on you can upgrade to hardware wallets but are expensive ones. Myetherwallet is free compared to hardware wallets but you need to ensure the safety of your pinkeys to avoid being stolen.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!!!! on: May 31, 2018, 02:37:10 PM
You maybe just too impulsive. Be sure that your decision of doing so is really good for you. Your feelings as of the moment is just temporary while the effect is permanent. Try to look at the brighter side. We all know how risky this crypto world is you should have known that before. Now, think twice. Goodluck.
