It is the new concept , everyone deserve his own forked chain. One Cpu, One chain. Feel free to exchange the coins using striclty the same local computer network.

generated blocks don't end up into the immature balance ?  They look confirmed , so I assume I am on the right chain . Also the adress: to: is undefined.
What the ... am I mining right now ?
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SilkCoin | New Wallet | NOW on MintPal / Cryptsy | FULL POS on: June 17, 2014, 09:45:00 PM
As promised the new wallet version is out today. And as always I'll update you with the latest news from the devs.

--Update is not mandatory--

-- Mac will be released later tonight, I'm going to get the mac right now to build the compile--

Let's start by talking about this update.

We listened to all you had to say and tried our best to improve the current wallet and solve all the current bugs and glitches.

*Lot's of UI improvements, fonts more readable, visual glitches solved ui parts finished. Also a few network bugs were solved.
*An unlock button right in your Dashboard, just beside the stacking tutorial for new comers.
*A whole new Market Data tab with MintPal, Bittrex and Cryptsy integrated. You asked for Mintpal and an overview panel, you got it Smiley. This is in prevision of the next update built-in exchanger, I'll talk about that later in this post.
*A few IRC bugs solved, as you may have noticed the client was still in construction. No more points instead of spaces and a much better response time.
*And yes we also integrated the "Minimize to taskbar" button on top of the "Minimize to tray" since a lot of you complained about missing it.

Now let's talk about the roadmap.. Most of the time as you have seen in the past we prefer releasing than talking about it for days because announcing great features always bring haters, fudders, impatients and pumpers. But this time I'll let you know a bit more what the current plans are and what the future holds for Silkcoin.

Next Update :

Will be in ~10 days, we will integrate the exchange feature into the market tab and a trading bot is coming but it's not 100% sure it will be included in the next release with trading.
Due to a big community demand games will be integrated in the wallet, at first it will be a simple betting game but we plan to expand this area in the future.
Also a big rework is being done on the IRC tab. After the next update we'll start to have a decent wallet  Wink.

The eco-system :

The release of the white paper is still planned for the end of the week so I will not talk a lot about it this time. If everything goes well we will start the beta phase about 2 weeks after the white paper, the beta should not last for long as the system is already very solid and we're constantly running tests.

For those of you who were criticizing the lack of informations, I will still give you the same arguments : we started Silkcoin without talking about the eco-system and did not want to unveil it so soon because we knew without a white paper it would attract fudders & paranoļa. Also a lot of "secrets" are present in this white paper, we want to make sure we're advanced enough on the development sid before making it public. But I reassure you, it's not quite finished I'm not making you wait Wink.

Anyway it's been 1 month and 8 days, judge by what you seen. We're at the 5th update and our community is growing stronger everyday, the wallet is now far away from the others and even if you look at our clones they can't even hold the speed of our updates or worse can't even copy our existing features.

Dev Roadmap:

Here is the order of priority and how the most important events of silkcoin are supposed to happen in the next 30 days:

- First the release of the White Paper Friday.
- Followed by a big update including the built-in exchanger and first game
- Private beta for the eco-system will begin
- Then we'll launch the Multi-pool, we're already talking with a few pool managers who are interested in working with us, but we haven't decided yet; We may build it ourself.
- The launch of the Eco-system with social features and decentralized exchanger. For now this is planned in ~1 month, it can be faster but it can also be delayed.
- The launch of the decentralized marketplace, yes we reconsidered it and we will launch the marketplace with a trust system we'll explain later.

The rest of the roadmap is still uncertain regarding timeframes but will include for sure :

- 2FA authentification, our devs have already started the work on double signatures this is not going to be a very long dev so it may come as a surprise feature Wink.
- Blockchain games in the wallet, followed by network games (all betting games, first game will be introduced next release).
- Anon, I would prefer not to talk a lot about it but we've been working for quite a long time now on Zerocoin implementation, it's not finished at all but yet shows promise since we thought it would've been impossible to integrate but we got back on it and found some interesting solutions.. We find most of the other alternatives (the one we can apply like darksend) not interesting.
Once again most of the time I prefer avoiding the subject because it atracts and feeds fudders and also because this is not the main feature, the eco-system is.
- A few other functions for the eco-system we currently looking what we could do without bloating the blockchain. You'll understand soon why we have endless possibilities when you read the white paper Smiley.

Well now you know what to expect.

Enjoy the new version, enjoy Silkcoin and good trades to you !

See you Friday for the white paper  Cool

Ps : I'm updating all links with the new wallet

very very impressive wallet. Good work !
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Poloniex Has Rejected SuperCoin on: June 16, 2014, 08:49:47 PM
looking at all the free hate in this topic. The people invested into SUPER coin only demonstrated what was the only short term future envisionned for SUPER from the beginning.
Hitting a popular exchange and dump. That's it.
If there was only one single thing that was differentiating this coin from any other crap, you wouldn't give a f*** about being listed on poloniex and the price would have increased on the other exchanges already. You would probably discussed rather on how great is the coin. Greed doesn't mean your that you crap coin worths something.

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - MultiPool - Official exchange launched on: May 10, 2014, 11:29:12 AM
why dumping?
we need hold!

that looks obvious, it is all about dumping quickly, nodody never bought this coin.
Only the illusion created within this thread. But the sell walls of 3 millions coins are real. Do not ask about how people owns more than 3 % of the total coins while the distribution wasn't finnished, it is taboo question in a bullish thread.

209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - MultiPool - Official exchange launched on: May 09, 2014, 09:37:31 PM

Just because you're poor does not mean automatically that everybody is poor.
Smart ppl bought tons of coins from dumpers and weak hands...
Don't come here crying and saying thing like "Ooooo...something is fishy here....ppl haz mani...mi not...."

omg...

* out of scope
* smart people don't buy a coin with 8% of the total market on the top sell side after a few days
* I do'nt give it a f., we are all used to that that in the crypto world  fair enough, hope you'll succeed dumping all you huge amount/wealth

A poor ><

more than 8 millions coins to sell ? 8 % of the capital on 1 exchange with single block sell order of more than 3 millions ?

Anyone who would have bought that amount , wouldn't have breakeven and would have probably hold hoping to hit an exchange.

there is something fishy here

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - MultiPool - Official exchange launched on: May 08, 2014, 08:51:16 PM

The Multipool ShareCoins will be paid out as soon as we can find a reliable exchange to buy ShareCoin.

can't you use the exchange you made lol?Huh??

WTF  Huh Huh
maybe they need an API, not sure ther own exchange exposes that ... yet.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 07, 2014, 07:59:06 PM
is it me or poloniex is down right now ?
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: May 03, 2014, 08:46:32 AM
Since the beginning  poloniex is gaining trust. At several points, the owner remained very fair and professionnal. I am convinced this is way more important than any fancy html5 flat design.

Congratz.

216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Game in the Block Chain - Update 4/4/14 1.00.07 on: April 13, 2014, 02:00:52 PM
Please ... Please ...  Please ...,
Make a wallet without the game. I know the provided dameon does that but it is far different from a working graphical wallet.
You don't really want to withdraw anything into the existing wallet. You don't really want to run an exchange on top of that client nor any other service. This is probbaly why the coin is not progressing anymore for a while now.

Also, anything that you could make to reduce the blockchain size or efficiency to sync is recommended, I mean critically required now.

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 07, 2014, 08:19:41 PM

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BlackCoin statement from CryptoRush - Very shocking information on: March 25, 2014, 08:48:12 PM
"To gox" "being goxed" My new english word of the day Smiley

One question

Did all the users who withdrew BC , really withdrew all their belongings at the same time ?. Why don't you simply confiscate all other coins from people having withdrawn more than what they had.

And please stop blaming the BC developper here, it is really a pity that you were relying on wallet internal account management for identifiying exchange user balances. Wallets should be kept as far as possible  from the exchange itselfs and you should have used your own little database for that with all the required cross checks.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Human Minable - MMOCG - Update 24/Feb/14 on: February 26, 2014, 08:47:31 PM
what about a wallet without the game ?
Exchanges and pool don't need to have the game in it, so why not just providing a simple wallet version.

I also do have a couple of HUC left which I can't sell just because I am 12 days back and I don't want to ruin my SSD and wait for it to sync.

Can the game actually break your hard drive?

There are 8,760 hours in a year. SSDs have an MTBF in the millions of hours. So, no. It's not going to wreck your SSD.

check your facts it is not a number of hours but a number of write cycles which depednign on your average usage gives you an amount of hours.
IE: the more you write , the shorter is your ssd lifetime.
Considering an average usage it amount to about 4 years which is fine considering you will change anyway, but use it hard and get it wrecked.
