201  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 28, 2013, 09:52:20 PM
I've reached out to fabrizio yesterday.

I am waiting for his reply.

Are they still hashing? So the chatter about 3 TH yesterday turned out to be BS?

I think they have it set to payout .05 every hour.  There is extra BTC in there account (which we will see) when they do a manual payout.

They were doing this yesterday

We probably wont see anything for a few hours since its 3:50am there.

203  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 28, 2013, 07:25:04 PM
I really think this creates more legal troubles than letting it run its natural course.  Example: If Labcoin can't settle to a new exchange, you could be held liable  for shutting down BTCT.

I am curious..how could Burnside be liable if labcoin doesn't find a new exchange?

Where did the team "0 China BTC" come from?

I don't remember seeing it earlier in the week.

Labcoin had flatlined like a dead patient lol

I'm watching the live order book and it's starting to get a bit interesting.

206  Economy / Securities / Re: [CLOSED] Hosted-Mining (revenue shares) / BTCT.co on: September 28, 2013, 03:25:02 PM
This old thread needs to be bumped.... because... it looks like more "Bitcoin scamming" has been revealed,
giving Bitcoin a bad name, from the Hosted-Mining guy who started this thread.

For those of you saw the Hosted-Mining "revenue shares" operation in August (this thread) but chose not
to participate, pat yourselves on the back!

Look at what's been going on since then.

Guess we now know why the money had to be raised so fast.

All I can say is WOW

I just read through the entire thing and I feel bad for everyone involved

Unless they still work during public holiday, otherwise Labcoin should post an update as soon as possible. If they keep quite and most people do not realise that the whole next week is the national day holiday of China, I am afraid there will be a terrible sell off.

Looks to me the sell off is pretty much done...

I'm sure a lot of the big holders don't even bother reading the garbage in here
208  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 28, 2013, 02:02:34 PM
The public LC wallet address still gets 0.05BTC per hour consistently. Shouldn't we see more if the hash rate has increased to more than 600G?

They might have it set to only pay out .05 every hour

They could be mining much more.  Need to see the manual payouts

Actually i'm positive they are mining much more.

Just wait a few hours

[22:45] <StalkBot> Estimated hashrate between the last 4 deposits [3031.31 GH/sec]
[22:45] <StalkBot> Mining 0.41451209 over 1 hour, 1 second at 148819200 difficulty
[22:45] <StalkBot> Team 'labcoin' not in the top 25 at BTCGuild page -> http://tinyurl.com/k7357rj

Thoughts?

They are all probably mining solo to test stability.  I'd assume after a day they would rejoin the labcoin team name.

Maybe they finally sorted out the issues

jurisdictions. they matter and are freaking confusing to deal with regardless

If US shareholders have been effected then this is by default SEC territory. The US government is tireless in it's hunt for multimillion dollar fraudsters. International extradition warrents take a day to sort out and almost every country in the Western World has an agreement to uphold these extradition warrents.

Getting bigger payouts to the address now.. averaging the last 4 payouts its about 1.8 TH

Yup  Wink

He will gain more than lose if labcoin comes to bitfunder.
burnside would disagree....

You don't know the facts.  You are assuming.

- The team is working on a plan to move the shares to a new marketplace (probably Bitfunder) in the next week, well ahead of shut down of BTCT.CO and I will do anything I can to make this a smooth and orderly process.

you mean to tell us that Bitfunder is going to list this security?
Thanks for letting me know.  I will move my coins out of Bitfunder immediately.

No one gives a shit your leaving bitfunder.  Go take your coins and play on Havlock

I would think Ukyo would care about people taking money out of his marketplace.

Listing a toxic security like Labcon on Bitfunder is a serious blow to Bitfunder's credibility.

He will gain more than lose if labcoin comes to bitfunder.

Someone spoke to him apparently in the early days and he said he "signed some documents" but wasn't really involved with the operation.

This is hidden somewhere in the last 800 or so pages.

Without knowing what he signed, its kind of hard to prove he is complicit or liable. But if at least he is aware of "labcoin" then he should be able to point to the right people.

Personally I wouldnt waste my time finding a possibly imagined chinese from ghana ("sam"),  Id focus on theswede first. He is (I think?) in the US, legally liable for facilitating and promoting public sales of unregistered securities and should know the identity of the other people behind labcoin if there is anyone else behind it.

Maybe this is a start:
http://www.mingles.com/theswede75/

and this:
https://twitter.com/TheSwede75
(Andrew James @TheSwede75 born in MN, live in the OC and married to Kristi. Long Beach, CA)

If we could find out which fab produced the first batch, it is not so difficult to find the document he signed.

I live next to long beach so I can pay a visit

How certain is everyone that the reason behind the closure of btct is from labcoin?

I remember during the summer burnside posted this

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261235.msg2805528#msg2805528

I know before that there was a bit of speculation that he was shutting down the site to us investers.

Maybe what happened during the summer has come back to now, but at a more severe level?

Also (this is a bit far fetched) We all know labcoin has some chips and they are capable of mining, but who is to say they arn't doing this on purpose (driving the share price down due to lack of communication)  they could be scooping up more for them.  For all we know they could fire up 5TH in a few days.. (again just a thought, but small chance it's possible) With 7 million shares outstanding I would see a lot more panic than what im seeing now..
