201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: July 30, 2016, 03:34:22 PM
everyone does lose in the long run, which is why most big gambling winning stories are someone striking it big in a couple of gambles. you never see like "man becomes millionaire after 5 years of gambling". I treat it as a hobby myself and gamble a little bit every month so if i lose i dont really mind.
202  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 30, 2016, 03:31:36 PM
In Europe there is a hot new pertaining to a company whose going to introduce paying bitcoins to their employees. But given the instability of the bitcoins market value is it an advantage for the employees or an disadvantage. In my opinion this kind of payment for salary is not yet beneficial to employees not until bitcoins price has become stabled. Though if bitcoin will start to increase its monetary value it can be advantageuos but if not then it is a peril to the employees. So what do you think, what is your opinion on this matter?
To me its a great way to receive money. Much better than direct deposit which takes like 5 days to receive. but the thing that would hold me back is the volatility of the price. If there was a way to receive money in bitcoin and not risk it being devalued in weeks, that would the be best option.
203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn 0.1 Bitcoin in month? on: July 30, 2016, 03:28:09 PM
I already stored a few bits in a TREZOR wallet and I wanted to ask you now how to earn 0.1 BTC in one month.
I also already know that signature campagnes are a good way to earn Bitcoins on in this forum... Smiley
hmm signature campaigns are a great way to get some btc, but im not sure if you will be earning 0.1 per month. you could try and sell goods/services on this forum for decent profit, but you have to have something worth it that people want.
204  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: July 30, 2016, 03:25:56 PM
Right now i am earning close to 0.01btc per weak with my signature campaign but i just dont know what to do with them.I want to grow them and reach a good amount of btc but only collecting will take a long time to reach a good amount. So i start to gamble with them and till now since 3-4 weaks i have lost all my signature campaing earnings.I win at the start but i become greedy and gamble more and then lost them.
So i decided not to gamble with them can any one tell me what are the other options which i can do with my earnings.
just save it up, pile up all your bitcoin earnings in a single secure wallet, and when the price goes crazy in a couple of years you will be glad you had it saved up. please dont try investing it online, you will likely lose all your money.
205  Other / Off-topic / Re: What value does Bitcoin bring to you? on: July 30, 2016, 03:05:23 PM
I use bitcoin mainly as a store of value, I just hold a couple of bitcoins as an investment. The amount i keep isnt something that i depend on really, its more of like a hobby to me.
206  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: July 30, 2016, 01:49:34 PM

207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When right timing to join signature camp? on: July 30, 2016, 01:47:08 PM
Hey for all senior user ,my hero is jr member , i have a question when right timing to join sign camp?
and if i join in the rank jr member the next i level up to member or high hero , they will pay me for jr member? or i must sign up to sign camp again with high hero to earn up my btc?
All the signature campaigns would adjust their rate to your ranks regularly, i suggest you look to join one after you hit full member because before that its not really worth what you get paid.
208  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 30, 2016, 12:56:59 AM
i mainly just buy bitcoins at online exchanges. coinbase recently added the ability to purchase btc through credit cards, and thats the best thing for buying btc imo.
209  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2016, 10:21:23 PM
Right now i keep about 15-20% of my savings in bitcoin. might sound like a small numbr but it feels a little high to me. the price volatility of bitcoins scares me too much.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: July 28, 2016, 10:19:09 PM
well i doubt bitcoin is going to hit $100,000 in 14 years, so you probably wont be a millionaire. but i think if you manage to get 100btc you would have a pretty good chance considering all the halfings that are going to happen.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: July 28, 2016, 10:14:24 PM
the transactions are pretty much instant, but the confirmations take a while. so if you are selling something worth a lot in you stores meaning the bill is going to be large, i wouldnt recommend bitcoin because double spends would leave you pennyless. but if you are a coffee shop owner or something with smaller transactions, i doubt anyone would double spend for a couple of bucks so you should be safe.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2016, 10:15:01 PM
to me halving is very good for bitcoin. because it reduce the supply and the demand remain the same the price do not fall too much and remain constant. but on other side it is not good for the minor because it become difficult for them to survive.
For your information, it does not reduce the supply, it is just giving the miners a difficulty to mind but would not really reduce the number of supplies. The supplies are still intact base on how the whole system are design and we can only have a shortage if their is a big demands.
For your information, it DOES reduce the supply, it has nothing to do with difficulty changes.
Difficulty is recalculated approx. every 2000 blocks the way it would ensure a 10 minutes on average to find a block. It depends solely on the total network hashrate and not on the halvings.
Yes, it has not reduced the number of supplies, the blocks are found every 10 minutes anyway, but it has reduced the amount of supply, now there are only 12.5 newly mined coins in every block instead of 25. So prior to the halving the daily supply was about 10min*6*24hrs*25BTC=36000BTC, now its 10min*6*24hrs*12.5BTC=18000BTC...  if 36000/day>18000/day I call it reduce of supply Wink
Just a quick fix, the supply went from 3600 bitcoins per day to 1800 bitcoins per day (average). Not 36000 to 18000. you shouldn't have multiplied by 10min lol. Halfing decreases the supply of bitcoins ENTERING the market, and not the supply of bitcoins in the market.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2016, 10:11:10 PM
i feel like its going to have a good impact on bitcoin in the long term. because it decreases the amount of bitcoins coming into the market, keeping the price stable and possibly increasing in the future. so far the price has been pretty stable since the halfing happened and i hope i stays that way.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Way To Encourage Offline Store To Accept BTC on: July 27, 2016, 10:09:37 PM
And then clients need to wait 6 hours for transaction to confirm because network can't handle all transactions.
totally agree with this, if i was a merchant offering a service or good. i wouldnt want to wait hours to be receive i receive the money. although the transaction is instant. the customer could alwys double spend putting me at risk.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever Found a Private Key with Bitcoin in it? on: July 24, 2016, 01:38:11 PM
Have u ever found a private key, randomly, that had some Bitcoin in it?
I think this rarely happens,   and gladly so.
The chances of that happening are extremely extremely small. unless ofcourse, you misplace your own private key somewhere and find it again later on.
216  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 23, 2016, 05:24:31 PM
there are few cafes shops in the uk thats accepts coin and i somehow spend some  have you your experience ? and how did you feel? when i was  sending coin  peoplein the cafe was looking at me and asked me about it truly i feelt like im .... hurraaaaaaaa
where i currently live, there arent really any coffee shops that accept bitcoin but i use the tap to pay feature on my credit card, which i feel is easier to be honest. one time i went downtown and saw a bunch of coffee shops that accepted bitcoin, but they made you wait for 1 confirmation before giving you your stuff which turns people away from paying with bitcoin.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most BTC you got on: July 19, 2016, 12:04:35 AM
the most btc i got in a transaction was around 0.9 btc. i remember buying it when the price was around $290 last year. lol i regret not buying more. currently im sitting on about 3 btc. hopefully going to buy more if the price drops,
218  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2016, 12:00:28 AM
Hey guys,

I just spoke to a guy over chat who told me his plan was to get 100 BTC, wait for the price to reach $5k per BTC and retire after that. Since he lives in a third world county, that might be possible for him. I know this is a simplification of the problem but I d like to know what s your plan. How many BTC is your goal, at what price and what happens once you reach that goal. After all, we have all been involved in a dream, why not dream it a bit more.  Grin
I dont see how getting 100 btc in a third world country is possible with an average job lol. anyways my plan is kinda similar but on a smaller scale.i plan on getting 10 btc soon and cashing out if it reaches 2k usd each.
219  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: July 18, 2016, 11:27:57 PM
i work in real life which makes me around a 100 bucks a day. eh its enough for me i guess. but if were talking about bitcoin I dont really earn anything per day in bitcoin. My current investment in bitcoin is around 3 btc and im waiting for the price to increase to make some money lol.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 15, 2016, 10:25:25 PM
Transactions are too slow. Will someone fix it or do we need a better coin?
if you are transacting with some you trust then you shouldnt have a problem waiting for confirmations because they will come eventually. however most people dont trust the other party and therefore require the confirmations to show its a double spend, this is the weakest point of using bitcoin in my opinion. (waiting hours for your money)
