I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, i'm trying to mine with 2 R9 290 CMD just stays blank. FYI, mining scrypt is not profitable anymore.

Can anybody please run 800 Clock and 1250 Mem on R9 290 and see what are the speed you are getting for x11?

GTX 980 if possible. Either way, you ain't going to make much with one GPU, go with four or five and make a few cents.
Make a few cents if power is free. GPU mining is just a hobby these days unless you can overcome power costs. 2x GTX 960 will produce more hash than GTX 970 But more expensive. I would take 2 GTX 970 lol what advise is this, 2 970 are even more expensive 1 970 to start mining is enough imho, 980 is also bad in compariso as it cost to much for a little gain over a 970, and in gaming also , not worth it at all What I meant : two 960 have not a better perf/price than GTX 970 (especially in europe where GTX 960 > 200 euros, and we can find some GTX 970 at 300 euros (but price is increasing due to $/euro fx rate). Yes begining with a GTX 970 is probably the most reasonable idea. You can add once later on. If you add in the cost of motherboard, CPU, HDD and memory card. You will find out that GTX 970 is a better deal as motherboard slot is fixed to 4 or 6 depending on your motherboard.

What happen to westhash? My miners is reporting extremely high reject rate, more then 50%.
That's weird man.. My miners are running and showing 0% rejects It is back to normal now. But I think there is problem with westhash yesterday.

trust should be built over time new sites no matter how shiny they are rarely get same amount of trust as the old, established ones like Primedice(says the guy with PD signature, yes ) Agree, always feel safer to deposit into primedice then any other gambling website out there.

Why all Ponzi sites need to be protected from DDOS attack?
Who is interested in taking down them, maybe competitors (other Ponzi sites) ?
Nowadays, every single website need DDOS protection, DDOS is so common and if you don't have a protection you would get targeted almost immediately.

A thought, If everyone agreed, or most agreed, in the mining world to switch off their machines on a difficulty change period it should set to zero, then restart all the mining operations and everyone could have a bumper 2 weeks All in favour say "aye" FYI, your method would not make the difficulty zero. Please read more and you will find out that it is impossible to make it zero.

But someone dropping a couple MILLION to create a huge ASIC hash farm is either insane or a complete fool who cannot math.
After watching the "Shake Shack" IPO I keep remembering Krispy Kreme and it's "stock". Yes, most people are just plain stupid. I was thinking this morning: We might be seeing what happened to catcoin happening to Bitcoin. More specifically we've reached a difficulty point where it will go up 8%, everyone will stop mining and wait for the difficulty to go down, then pile in again. It's another form of taking advantage of others, which seems to be the hallmark for everything bitcoin but it does make sense from an individual point of view. Time will tell. i cant wait to see what happen when mining subsidy halved Everyone is waiting for that...

The web site is down. I'm seeing error 524 (timeout) from CloudFlare.
Hashes are successfully being submitted, so I hope that mining is still working.
Thought i was the only one with the issue Same here, hope they fix it soon.

I just don't understand why there are so many GPU miners out there at these horrible profit levels.
With X11 or X13 or Neoscrypt you need electricity at 0.07KwH just to earn nothing.
Considering the fact that electricity of <0.07kwH is rare in most developed nations, why are there so many GPU miners out there.
I figured the difficulties would at least decrease and Darkcoin would be profitable again but with the recent BTC drop people are still out there mining.
So are there really that many miners out there that don't pay for power? Because it seems like the only logical explanation why the hashrates are sky-high.
I am pretty sure a lot of them are mining at a loss (parent or landlord pay the bills), or they are mining for the heat since its winter. But I never like the smell generated from GPU mining rig (you won't notice if you only have 1 rig, you will notice some metal smell if you have like 5-10).

Anybody have problem on the captcha? It always doesn't let me put in captcha unless after I play the video few times.
if you've been away for a few minutes, try refreshing the page before you click the vid. (session expires) What I mean is that I have to play the video a few time before I can type in the captcha. Anybody encounter the same problem?
