And btw, we need to get back that spirit from 5-6 weeks ago, the community and the devs working together ! That's why APEX is unique. I am supporting the devs all the way, they are genuine guys, but they obviously cannot stop the manipulation at this point because market cap is so small. If APEX had a market cap above 1 million USD we would not be seeing these kind of pumps and dumps. They can do this cuz the market cap is still nothing only 30-40 K USD. The real cap should be like 5-6 times that. So MalboroMan is back !  Let's get that spirit back too ! And do not look only short term , but toward the next year and beyond. In 3 years 95% of alts will be dead, those 5% that survive will be BIG. I hope APEX will be there and in a few years we'll be laughing about the price that we see now 800-900 satoshi. I don't know what the big deal is really. I've heard all sorts of things flying around about Apex this and Apex that... The Apex team have linked to the BlockNet thread and told us to read about it and how huge it will be.. One of the main things that you will notice on the BlockNet thread is the bit about the asset feature, so therefor altcoinherald and many others including myself know about it!

Its really sad how sophisticated and diligent cryptocurrency development branches fight each other in those forums. Luckily developers who meet on conferences are usually very kind and professional to each other.
The whole problem is probably that everyone thinks that his favored altcoin will replace Bitcoin one day, ignoring the fact that if there is a blockchain technology that is so much superior to Bitcoin then Bitcoin would of course hard fork to that technology before it dies.
Everything would be so much better and more exciting if all alt coins would be worth nothing. Then developers would work together again and communities would cooperate instead of fighting each other. Sorry for the rant, I don't care where people put their money in, and its also not my business, but when I vote in a "Best Proof of Stake coins" poll, then I distinguish projects regarding their code base and not regarding their investment opportunity (which are absolutely not correlated thanks to speculators).
You make a valid point... Although the driving force behind cryptocurrnecy is the community, with that said you are correct, the rivalry is somewhat ridiculous at times and should not be as harsh as it is most of the time. |

It's a shame Crypto is so full of Butthurt individuals! It's up to us to drive these kind of people out. It's become to easy for people to spread hate and fud on BitcoinTalk but I have seen a post about how they are taking action against this kind of behavior.
All coins go up in price and then fall just as Bitcoin has gone from nothing to $1000 and then $270 and now $400. People need to keep interested in their own affairs and not be too quick to try and tear down the hard work of others, it really gets me annoyed when I see things like this since it's totally unnecessary and uncalled for!
