So everything should be ready for the segwit update now as soon as soon as f2pool gives green light as well. @GekkoTrade it's not that the trust in bitcoin is gone, it's just that on 1st of august everyone who owns e. g. 10 bitcoins will own 10 bitcoin-classic and 10 bitcoin-core (with segwit), because of the hardfork. that's why the btc price is dropping for now. viacoin with segwit is better than viacoin without segwit, so it'll probably rise a lot in value and attract more people once segwit is activated.

Mitnichten." betitelt.

Lot of code added in the last 48 hours. I will do a follow up post later. We are definitely moving forward now ! So in those last 48 hours we have been working to fix merged mining and find the existing bugs. You can see the commits on Github. I'm not sure how to explain it all to "non crypto programmers". But the development is definitely going well. The other dev is very productive too. That's great to hear. Who is the other developer? Or does he want to stay incognito for now?

Lot of code added in the last 48 hours. I will do a follow up post later. We are definitely moving forward now ! last 48 hours from now ? recent i just bought some VIA to fill my bag , i hope this week price will increase much more Be cautious as the BTC fork is underway and Tezos will probably also be looking to sell their ETH contributions. Tezos may sell BTC+ETH both, before segwit2x and UASF... Who is Tezos? @btsfreak I totally disagree. The announcement management wasn't perfect, but f2pool works with romanornr now and he got company. The Viacoin price dropped mainly because the bitcoin price dropped and some people always want to cash out when the price goes down. And as of the progress and ongoing debugging I don't doubt the progress in any way, but am glad that the debugging is happening now, rather than after the segwit update.

I believe the bottom line has been reached today. I hope the debugging will finish soon and am glad that romanornr got support in developing VIA. That's great news!

The altcoin market is a little down. This is the time when you buy. Follow the rules....buy low Sell high....Seems simple but few do it.
True, but the market keeps dumping all the time. Its almost if it encourages people to trade all the time. Via is going down fast, will need time to heal itself. Hopefully we hit 5 at the end of 2017. The market price is always cyclical. Don't worry too much, if you have the time, your money will be just fine. VIA will recover.

I'm Really looking forward to go segwit. How many percent of the pools are in on segwit yet? In VIA we trust.

Gute Aussichten also.

Hey Leute,

Was ist TH?
