201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: February 01, 2019, 02:36:39 PM
Don't think negatively. Cursed or not it  is you who decides on things. Such decisions creates or breaks opportunities. So that it is very important to think about decisions to make several times before you have to finalize it. Guide yourself by doing a lot of research. If this will not work how about this trick? Do the reverse. If you feel like selling it do not sell it and when you feel it is time to hold the coins then sell it. This could at least reverse the situation. But you know I would really choose to do a lot of reasearch than this. 😁

202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever? on: January 31, 2019, 02:44:51 PM
The only reason for something to exist is its utility. Unless if people would never want to use the technology anymore that could be the time when it will be gone and be forgotten. As of now while it has served its purpose it may continue to survive through time until people will feel the need to change it or reform the technology for something new. We know that there is nothing constant but change and so expect for some changes to come in the future. Do you think that there could be a new bitcoin? For me I think so but that could be a story farther away into the future.

203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto on: January 31, 2019, 09:24:35 AM
It good to know that there are people who really have become rich because of cryptocurrency. And the nice and encouraging part was that you said that most of them holds no matter what ever happened to the cryptocurrency market. They are the ones we can consider as a patient believers of cryptocurrency. Many did also the same though but was a bit unfortunate since they were pushed back by a lot FUDs created bt fellow investors and some non-believers of cryptocurrency. Thanks for the information anyway. I hope this helps regain the trust and confidence given to the cryptocurrency market years ago.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: January 30, 2019, 09:23:32 AM
Taxes whatever it is and where it is imposed upon is so important for the government to stand on its feet and as necessary as the basic needs of man for survival. The taxes are a good source of revenue for the country and should it be gone or cut it will drastically affect the government's service towards its constituents. I also agree though that balance should be made between the poor and the rich. Taxes should be equally weighed depending upon the capacity of the person to pay. There should always be tax exemptions whenever necessary for the poor people to enjoy as privilege.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: January 30, 2019, 08:53:58 AM
Well just the same all of these coins have something within it that makes it special. The technologies behind it and all other things surely made it as it is different from the other and may have made it a good coin. Cardano may be a giant slayer indeed as you have claimed but I wanted to see Cardano move up to see that these claims are really possible. And if it will then Cardano will be just one of the coins that we should be investing on. For now ripple have succeeded surpassing ethereum which I think proves itself to be a good coin and so I would want to see Cardano do the same.

206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has changed? Is it moving forward? on: January 29, 2019, 02:37:23 PM
I do think the problem about bitcoin was not really about transaction speed. Well, we all know it did create an impact but the most pressing problem with bitcoin is its volatility and the lack of support from some countries that could have made it big as a digital currency. Banning of bitcoins did create a lot of trouble and probably spreads FUD among investors which resulted to prices going very low. As for now bitcoin settles around a low bottom which could as well be the real starting point for going up again. There was not much of a movement for now not unless some investors would lit the fire up again. Everyone was so cautious this time.

207  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: January 29, 2019, 01:41:59 PM
I got your point and it is really risky to join in ICOs during it early beginning when they haven't been listed yet in any exchange. Even coins that have succeeded during ICO stage fell into nothing and failed later. There is a lot to consider about joining ICOs but the most important thing to consider is the readiness that you have and your plans that could help you gain more. Failure to prepare any of these can result in more loses. Your preparation should involve questions about what you are going to do in case your investments failed and questions dealing with what you should know about the coin you are about to invest on. This is very important to really prepare for failures just in case. You don't want to gamble everthing that you might not want to to lose. And so you should know when to stop or what to do when things don't favor you. Always do make enough preparations.

208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 365 day 100$ trading challenge. 80% profits in less than a month!!!! on: January 29, 2019, 08:56:42 AM
Its a nice challenge. It help keep people think of good things about bitcoin investments and not just the negative side of the coin like volatility and other things not so good. Anyway,  I may have problem with your idea though it seems really possible. The exchange that we have in my area had implemented higher transaction fees which I think that with just a percent increase would make me loose the gain. But I am as well positive about it so I think it is worth to try.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Perfect example of why governments must hold Bitcoin on: January 29, 2019, 08:17:22 AM
Well whatever reasons could have been laid out,  I think that such a huge amount of money cannot be easily withdrawn because large volumes of money can have an impact on the economic situation in a country. Even the US was always monitoring movements of huge in flow or outflow of money. I recalled that there was somebody caught bringing large bitcoin volume to the US. It was mentioned in a post here but I cannot recall that topic. It could have help us realize the idea behind this blocking of withdrawal if found.

210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP really better than ETH??? on: January 28, 2019, 01:43:35 PM
As of the moment we saw eth falling behind eth. And it seems that many investors are trying now to jump to xrp for possible gains. Yet everything in cryptocurrency is moving. ICO projects with the ethereum platform had slowed a  bit after some unfavorable market for cryptocurrency. Yet who knows everything will be back to normal and these ICOs will gain more again? It would certainly be that eth will rise again next to bitcoin surpassing xrp. So its more like of a wheel. It goes turning up and down for both because these are both good coins.

211  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending bitcoins on a car. Car depreciate while Bitcoin appreciates. on: January 28, 2019, 12:43:25 PM
We couldn't say the absolute. Cars depreciate in value while bitcoins go up or down. With a car there is no doubt about it and you might be losing within 3 years as you have said but bitcoin can give you the chances, you can probably earn a lot or may lose more than what you could be losing with a car investment. But if you really had the best inputs about bitcoin status, you might just earn with greater possibilities than a car 3 years after. There is a lot to learn about trading bitcoin that could give us the opportunity to get rich and this is what most people should know.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable? on: January 28, 2019, 07:47:01 AM
For as long as the means of achieving something good does not weigh more than what good we can get out of it, then it can still be considered bad. For what use would it be if we will in the end be part of our own destruction? So there should be some other way to do things around. Perhaps some solutions with using bitcoin can be implemented so as to minimize the use of electrical power. Humans are intelligent and I believe we can solve this problem in the future.

213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Hodling Coins!!! on: January 27, 2019, 04:52:58 PM
I consider your point to be correct. There is much to lose if you would be holding coins. There is uncertainty always and you can perhaps lose a lot if you are not so actively monitoring the values. My suggestion to most investors would be to hold coins but use it in a business just like when you will have a company that sells products using cryptocurrency as payments. Certainly this will create a real demand and will help a lot in solving bubble-like related volatilities.

214  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: January 27, 2019, 02:25:07 PM
Changes are the only thing that is permanent. So we could be heading to the new fronts of technology. The use of blockchain for almost anything could lead into something new. I do think that such changes could also lead to an almost universal use of cryptocurrency and the growth of new coins probably by each of the governments around the world. But this might take a bit long enough to be fully implemented. As of now 2019, it can be just a new beginning of the cryptocurrency. So the focus this year could be more about cryptocurrency usage and this will probably happen like a natural evolution that changes slowly.

215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 27, 2019, 01:45:48 PM
I think if the subject is a citizen of that country and tax is implemented on cryptocurrency, it would certainly be through the exchanges. There would be high payments involved during the transaction of converting fiat to cryptocurrency or the other way. It is almost unavoidable not unless if such person would have to travel into a contry that does not tax through exchanges. But why would you want to evade taxes anyway? Is your taxes so high?
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: January 25, 2019, 11:47:09 PM
Cryptocurrency is business, therefore there will be an effect on bitcoin values. Certainly almost all things in a war become useless. Whoelse would want to value things over life? Even gold can be of no value better than food in times of war. We don't eat gold we eat food so that similarly a demand for bitcoin could be lesser in volume and the affected areas will have no demand for it. People will care more for survival and in a state of emergency, money don't apply as much. You do consider basic needs over other needs. You don't want to be trading bitcoins while you are in a crossfire, aren't you? Or you may not be trading when you are in a flood, earthquake or any calamities? Money is indespensable but on occasions like these, people as I have said careless about any system. Money and everything except food will of lesser interest at all. I don't want these things as well because I would always love to trade bitcoins and live in our system as peacefully and normally as possible.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: January 25, 2019, 07:56:37 AM
I am trading for short term. I have also tried the long term trading, holding as much and standing strong such that I could never be carried away by some FUDs. It is also profitable but if you would like to know the proper time for gaining as much I would say it would quite be long enough for long term trading. Too many factors might get in the way. So it would be better to just also try short term if time might be so important to you. If you want fast returns then short term trading will be good. But be reminded that trading for short term is always unpredictable. If you have predicted wrongly you will lose a lot. So you must have what they call a stop loss level for your investments. To hold back or prevent lso much loses. But more importantly managing your risks would mean doing a lot of research. Greater knowledge can be a good factor for success.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $5million Airdrop Mistake from Coinnest on: January 24, 2019, 09:47:26 AM
Sometimes mistakes or errors occur and it is up to the honest individuals to at least return what belongs to the owner. Such mistake could mean a lot and $5 Million was a big money that could probably create a big problem to the establishment of their exchange. I think that can be returned since it was intended to be dropped and was just a mistake. Perhaps there are laws that can actually be used in their favor to force recipients to return it.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 24, 2019, 07:54:16 AM
Yes, it happens a lot several times when predictions had become a false hope for the many. Even I was becoming hopeful too from their predictions and relied too much on what they have said until I realized that I have been losing a lot. So I decided to investigate and do research in my own. Though not accurate but at least I was not too overconfident hoping for some kind of a promise. Everything in the market is really unpredictable, so we must always be prepared so as not to lose our investments.

220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC approve BITCOIN ETF ? on: January 24, 2019, 02:36:50 AM
I may not agree on an immediate bullrun but the possibility is good. We all might have heard how many of our fellow investors suffered loses during those times when market was not so favorable. While bitcoin usage keeps increasing I think SEC will eventually accept such change so as to give better opportunities for bitcoin market.
