I hope you will not do the same mistake as many of devs of altcoins.
The most important thing is propagation. If you don't want the coin to be just another echange coin which will disappear in a moment, you should propagate it. And I don't mean propagation in miners community. I mean lobbing at exchange servers, creating of interesting apps, nice would be also if someone would convince some service to accept Litecred and Decred payments in real exchange rates and so on... Miners would come after that. You need to make the coin valued and interresting. Then will come more miners and investors...
The priority is MARKETING!
Many developers create coin just for mining at the start and then sell it.
But there is other potential - there is potential to become successors of Bitcoin and Litecoin (and I don't mean in value, I mean in interresting for potential investors, developers, users).
I think the main purpose of cryptocurrency is to become stable currency for daily paying and using in everyday life and convince the world to use it instead of centralised national currencies. If you don't want it to be just another altcoin, you need to convince servers and also variable local services to use it and allow customers to pay in the cryptocurrency.
I think it shouldn't be so difficult to convice them, especially in EU when the European Court said the cryptocurrencies were not "money" so there should be no taxes from it. - There can profit both - the customer and also the provider of services.
I've got one question - How long are there going to be the fees for development. As long as there is the fee, the Litecred will never be really decentralised and independent.

New wallet not work for me  When I double click icon to open wallet, nothing happening. I just see cursor animation, and thats it Previous two version worked perfect. I must switch back to version 2. Working well at w7 64bit here. What Os are you trying to run it? Maybe it would help dev in debugging if you provide that information |

The exe file gots that detect i am not sure if it is a malware or not if you check the zip file it won't show. Also i feel that the problem is caused by Yoda's Crypter that is sometimes used to hide and pack viruses in windows exe files. |

decred devs have a blockchain explorer but don't want to share with us
decred devs have their PoS all sorted, but can't help us to pool.
decred devs will take nearer 100% of all PoS for months "to ensure security", before "throttling back" to nearer 50%.
No PoS for us. (very little, much less than advertised 50%)
No blockchain explorer for us. (so we can't see decred devs biased rewards being gained)
Of course anonymous _ingsoc REALLY wants us to have these things..... top priority.....

There can be a minimum coinage to earn the 2000%, that's not a problem either; anything under the threshold would earn a different percentage or a static reward. I'm fine with this option, too, if that's what people want, but I think there would be some upset about the rich getting richer, though
I agree more with this option the other one as someone said earlier would be 10-100 out of 1000 blocks at 2000% and the other at a considerably lower rate let's say 100%. I don't really think limiting the stake at 10 or 100 would affect much the inflation as people would just split their inputs. Little more work for them but i don't think it would solve the hyperinflation. Just my 2 bucks |

As far as i can see it was added to the campaign another 15K nice community support  Yes he offered 15k more ltcr for the bounty, I told him to keep those LTCR until the contest is over. But it's not going very well i guess it is pretty hard to get 100 retweets for a post as a regular twitter user but the bounty is generous so must try hard  |

The wording of your ann., "intended as Decred side-project" has led many to wrongly think LTCR is in some way associated to Decred (DCR). Litecred has absolutely NOTHING to do with Decred apart from a similar name which was chosen to create hype and jump on the Decred bandwagon. Block explorer working yet??, been down what half a day now, wonder whats going on on that chain? can't remember if this was addressed or not but will a modified version of ccMiner compatible with the 14 round blake256 be available before launch or are all of us Nvidia guys just gonna get hosed?
SP_ ccminer already offer 14 rounds if I'm right You need to use -a blake since -a blakecoin is 8 rounds sweet I believe devs said that it needs to be modified to work with decred as they have a different "block header"? Probably not, more probably it will be added to an exchange after the mainnet launches and still few days after that as being a new code probably it will be harder to add to an exchange than just compiling a bitcoin-like wallet at exchange server |

Mining cost is about 300 satoshi i suppose.
Dumpers will dump at the begining anyhow under mining cost but that's just a temporary thing once they sold their coins cheap they won't get new ones. Meanwhile i will slowly buy dumpers coins lol |

will the standard cgminer (blake256 compatible) will be usable to mine decred?
(like old cgminer used for blakecoin)

I am not sure about that, but given that it is a completely new code written in different language, probably it will have different protocols, so i think that standard cgminer or sgminer won't work with decred daemon. Hashing is the same but the miner to connect to the daemon probably it will have to be forked and adjusted some minor things. |
