No, this is not a easy way to earn 5 USD. I would not even have checked if you did not take 200, but the 20 USD win, scammer.

No, you did not, you are a scammer.

Also a year ago, I remember doing that thing where if you sent 0.01 wave or something like that to an address... u got some reward... and i remember at the time... i believe it was called vostok tokens? I think i got over 1000 of them last time and i think each was worth a dollar or so?  I didn't do anything to it... just let it stay there.  But now when i type in vostok... i dont see it anymore?  Can someone explain this?  So basically i had to sell it back then in order to get something for it... but now... why doesn't the coin at least show up though?  So that coin either dont exist or is worth zero?

Vostok got renamed to WEST.

moving knowledge, the client feels as nobody is in charge.

How did you come to this conclusion? There are regularly updates, and on the bottom right is the support button, where there is always someone to answer your questions.

Hey yes i made mistake with the calculation in first example.  But what do you mean doesn't take fluctation into account?  Yes 18% seems ridiculously high.  I would thought anything over 5 percent was already high.  But what can it fluctuate between then?  Because couldnt someone with a million dollars buy waves, sell it for usdn and then stake everything?  So they would get back between how much and how much in usdn at the end of one year then when taking fluctuation?

Nobody can tell the future, but it should be above the 6% for leasing.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: September 03, 2020, 02:10:14 AM
I then see USDN staking.  It shows estimated interest of eighteen percent?  Something isn't right there.

This is correct. The interest rates fluctuates. See, you buy USDN with Waves, which in turn get staked. So you get the 6% leasing plus your cut of the USDN's that are not staked.

Okay say you have $1000 worth of waves and sell them for USDN.  Now you have around $1000 usdn to make it simple.  Now you stake the usdn.  At the end of one year... your 1000 usdn will be around 1800 usdn?  But you say the interest rate fluctuates... which interest rate you talking about?  The waves or the usdn?

That doesn't make sense with usdn because if that is the case, wouldn't someone with a million dollars could just buy waves and sell it for usdn... then stake 1 million dollars of usdn and then make 180,000 usdn for one year?

First example would be 180 USD, not 1800. Second example is correct. This does not take fluctuation into account. 18% seems high, but if you compare it to Bitcoin, it is not that much, as the growth in worth of Bitcoin has been more than 10 000% per year on average...
206  Economy / Gambling / Re: [CLOSED] WavesPlay.com - Dice, Coin Flip, Referral for Life - Live on Chain on: September 02, 2020, 11:47:45 PM
Well, I am right now putting the site online again. It runs on Amazon AWS/EC2. So all I need to do is restart the instance and use the IP it gives me, right? This all has already been done and I am waiting for it to go online. I am asking because I don't really know my way around this, as my programmer left who did it for me. Right now it shows a 503 error, is this normal?

Now, once it is online again, you can basically play, but for winnings to be paid out, there needs to be at least 0.001 Waves on the sites bankroll. If you want to donate Waves, just send them to the WavesPlay bankroll address:

3PD13YPYXfnRHWHk31uzFmKqrLprLeaNFmi

I'll put some myself to pay out the remaining wins (this happens automatically), once it is up again.

Edit: The 503 error is still there, could not find a solution inside Amazon AWS/EC2.

That's unfortunate.    But good for the guy that cleaned them out and good on the casino for paying before closing shop.   They could have put up a fuss and not paid I imagine.

As I said it ran on chain, so there is no way to cheat for the site owner.

Two weeks have passed after winning $ 20, but the $ 5 has not been credited ... is this normal or did something go wrong? Huh

It depends on OP (original poster) to have time and you not being a scammer. You also need to fulfill all requirements; most often the screenshot is missing.
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesPlay.com - Dice, Coin Flip, Referral for Life - Live on Chain on: September 01, 2020, 01:46:41 PM
but ended up closing due to high competition. Undecided

Well, there wasn't barely any competition on the Waves blockchain.

WavesPlay.com has been closed down. It has never yielded a profit, and a single player has just today emptied its stock of Waves, Bitcoin and USDN. I am sorry for everyone involved.

Another casino has died. It is not surprising when there is such a huge competition in this area and the really strongest survives here and the one who spends a lot of money on promotion.

I did not understand a bit about the devastation of the reserves by the player. Was the funds stolen or were they simply concentrated on one person who wished to withdraw them all?

They were not stolen. One account just played until the bankroll was empty.

And its not "Another casino", is was the only one on Waves that had so many supported tokens.
211  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesPlay.com - Dice, Coin Flip, Referral for Life - Live on Chain on: August 31, 2020, 01:21:57 AM
Dice,CoinFlip games are pretty common or already saturated on this market
and its understandable that getting some marketshare or position in the industry would be quite challenging or wont be simple at all.I agree that this thread should be locked and no more further discussions needed
on this one.

Well, dice and coin flip would not be special, but they are on the Waves ecosystem. It was the only site on Waves, that supported dozens of cryptocurrencies.
212  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesPlay.com - Dice, Coin Flip, Referral for Life - Live on Chain on: August 30, 2020, 01:42:24 PM
Which situation shows that wavesplay cant face losses? It is clear that they have just lost all the bankroll, means that they cant face losses.
You can say they cant face losses if they cant pay the one who emptied the bankroll.
This may happen in all sites especially sites with low bankroll, even a big site may face the same situation if there is no more funds to continue the business.
At least wavesplay did the best they can so far and no complains for the closing down.

Everyone has been paid, as the site runs on chain.

If you cannot face losses, then it's better to not start a business.
In a business there are equal chances of getting huge losses and huge profits if you are fortunate enough.
But as you mentioned that your site has ran into losses, that means your bankroll was not pretty good enough to handle the loss situation for a while.
Nevertheless i like those casinos who are honest enough.
Hope to see you back again, once more with a huge bankroll amount.
Good luck op.

Well the site ran okay for almost a year, and then one player took out everthing is less than two days.

Sorry to hear that and this had been always a part of business neither you do survive or not into this very fierce competition in the market. Its better to end up this way rather than on being a scam.

Good luck into your future endeavors and this might not really be your field.

Yeah, I thought having your own play site is a surefire way to make money. But beeing on chain, made possible with the very fast Waves transaction times, may have been not the best decision. All in all I invested around 2500.- USD in having the site developed and stocked. And around 15K USD in prior trials to get my own playing site, wheras around 13500.- USD went to a scammer "developer" and the rest to an aborted development try.

It also hurts that I had restocked the site for around 300.- USD just around 18 hours ago.

Upon visiting your website, it ask me directly to install a waves keeper extension. Does it mean that we really need to install the extension before we
can use your platform?

I guess, it is a little bit hassle to your customer if in case it is mandatory as there are many platforms that are not asking to this kind of extension before
we can use their website. Extensions also can sometimes damage the security in someones computer so I am not that fan of installing some kind of extensions in my
browser especially if I cannot check the credibility of that extension yet.

See FAQ. It is secure way to interact with the site, all on-chain.

Lots have been won recently, congrats to the players! This is why I have restocked Waves, BTC, LTC and USDT.
Over 7500 Bets have been made until now.

Where is my money, which are you stoled, at April 2020?!!
Even 2 migrants in USA with the minimum salary $7.5/hour, can easy
fulfill your duty to me, just for three months, and without any blowing in the dick,
but you are worse than bums, damn rats!!!
Money turn back my, here, right now, schmuck!

Can you please stop spamming this thread? Just because you think Waves is a scam does not make it true.

But if my waves been leasing for a while... is it still leasing now?

Yes.

WavesPlay.com - No need to withdraw - always on chain!
Its been a while and almost a year for this Wavesplay.com site had launched.Ive checked out the site and there were still no improvements in talks of UI.
You should utilize the extra space like putting up a chat box or something like that.

You do consider it out on having some campaign on this forum for at least to have some exposure? Reaching 5k bets in almost a year sounds not really nice.

Well, the developer left the project, and so far, the site has only cost me money and is still incurring a small loss every month due to the hosting fee. So the site should have to yield a healthy profit before I invest more. And with a token toss and a dice, every player should be able to find something that fits his playstyle.

5.5K plays is remarkable considering that WavesPlay caters to a niche within a niche.
