201  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: China bans Bitcoin, the price go down on: December 19, 2013, 03:19:26 PM
Do you understand that even small miners who start to mine in 2011 have a couple k bitcoins and that miners who start to mine now will also have a few hundreds bitcoins in a few years time.
If you do not know how bitcoin works and how btc/dollar is related in the future, you have to ask your money back from your primary school.

It seems like Easy2Mine doesn't like you much crocko LOL

Anyway, the sell off has already finished, it didn't last much eh?
We are back at $700 on MtGox, say xičxič for the cheap coins Smiley
202  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: this dude is out of business on: December 19, 2013, 03:13:02 PM
Again, China didn't ban bitcoin, it made impossible for people to buy it and for institutions to invest, people can still go down in the street and trade bitcoin or any other cryptos. To be honest I think China will come back on bitcoin and it will make possible to buy and invest with very strict rules

As already said, HK is not China, have a look...

203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how old is dogecoin? on: December 19, 2013, 03:00:50 PM
ct37 you are right, the real problem is that actually some people want to buy them! And on top of that, people keep sending deposit to Cryptsy!
It doesn't even matter how much is worth because the is no direct FIAT exchange, it's based on BTC, it's the same old scam to exchange shit for actual BTC. It won't last much..
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invest or not invest into crypto currency? here is the question on: December 19, 2013, 02:51:36 PM
coinSeeker82, if what you are asking is genuine, but I guess is not, buy btc and hold it for years.
Do this only if you truly believe in it because you will be tempted to sell, maybe at a loss, many times.

or is this a way to scam people and add some rep to an unknown service?

www.cryptodeposit.net is not a scam, it is proven by many people, google it and you will see.. twitter is full of testimonials. And with my personal experience im satisfied until now with no regret joining. This service has been on market for a while and is growing rapidly.

Considering the time it took to come back with another alt I won't even open the website.
Obviously a scam

206  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 - how did you know? on: December 18, 2013, 05:02:27 PM
Same path as in the previous 2 bubbles, it went down to double the previous ATH
This is what's happening now... we are staying for while between $450/$550
If we break this trend then we will catch up at $250, previous ATH.
After that, is apocalypse for the little liberal speculators  Tongue
207  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting 15 BTC Loan on: December 18, 2013, 04:37:16 PM
Gamebit, you need a colleteral, you can buy a complete set of document for so little money nowadays, how can you pretend to get a loan without it. If this is a scam, it's sadly really cheap Sad
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: An Open Message to all Bitcoin Investors on: December 18, 2013, 04:21:47 PM
BittBurger, DGulari, I completely agree with you except for the $1 part, not going to happen!
The network and the block chain, "Bitcoin", is unaffected and it's growing as we speak, it doesn't depend on FIAT so it's immune to crashes.

Only the speculators are hurt by this.  Nearly all of us are busy building something good - and don't care about price in the least.  This isn't the first crash - and it isn't going to be the last.

this ^^^
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any cryptos resistible to crashing? on: December 18, 2013, 04:12:18 PM
You can't have fixed price on cryptos, WTF?
What would you use to back it up? FIAT? Gold? Silver? Any other sort of Index?
We are still in price discovery

Oh wait, he mentioned doge.. nevermind
210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone else bought high? Worried? Still holding strong? (I bought in at $1080) on: December 18, 2013, 02:30:04 PM
I hope you spent money you don't need to live. bitcoin is highly rewarding as speculative and manipulation happens all the time. if you can, and you still believe it, buy some more near the bottom to average your unit cost.
we will be back at the top. don't worry :-)

china will probably create their own version, that's what they do when they cannot control people

211  Economy / Speculation / Re: It won't go up anytime soon on: December 18, 2013, 02:18:04 PM
bitcoin will go down until the first week of january and then it will bounce back, until then there is no bottom and depending on the news suring this period the trend can be slow/fast. chinese are a bit retarded really, they have not learned anything from previous bubbles
212  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-18 BBC.co.uk - Bitcoin sinks after China restricts yuan exchanges on: December 18, 2013, 01:36:10 PM
Quote
According to Yicai - a business news website with ties to the government - the news followed a meeting between officials from the People's Bank of China and 10 clearing houses on Monday in Beijing, at which the firms were told they had until the end of January to sever links to the country's Bitcoin exchanges.

Regular article, no FUD  Huh
Nobody has provided an official communication from the government as yet, which is strange..
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Most of the money from BTCchina is crooked money on: December 18, 2013, 12:53:30 PM
47 users own 30% of all bitcoins, and 11000 users, own 75% of all bitcoins.  That is a joke my friend.

So are those 47 selling or buying right now?

They can either sell or hold but not buy in any meaningful volume.

Can't they use localbitcoins or transfer the money abroad?
If they want bitcoin I am sure they will find a way to buy
It's not a material good that you have to actually move it, it's a bunch of bits
214  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Price Drop Cause? on: December 18, 2013, 12:36:54 PM
I agree with what SaltySpitoon said, after 2 days we still cannot find anywhere a valid piece of official documentation.
Combine China FUD with the general slowness around Christmas (hey, bitcoin is trading 24/7!) and you have what we see now.
I don't think we will go much lower than this, we are at 17/11/13 levels where the buig spike started (1D chart)
215  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-17-12 Forbes - Bitcoin Is Not Anonymous And Is Always Taxable on: December 18, 2013, 12:30:19 PM
The whole idea (tax!) behind the article is a bit lame

- if you don't use a traceable entry point and you don't exit on FIAT (e.g. rent VPS for a month?) how can a tax be calculated? on which FIAT/value?
- if you mine cryptos, what's your entry point? what's the value in FIAT? noboby is mining serious coins solo anymore; are they going to get the data from pools? are they going to run pools? hurray! Smiley
- are they going to track all addresses used on the blockchain?
- how are they going to demonstrated that I bought at a certain value if the transactions appears day after in the blockchain?
- do we have to register each address we use?

The authour will writing a follow to cover more stuff, I guess he needs many more LOL
216  Other / Archival / Re: deleted by request on: December 18, 2013, 12:19:41 PM
YoyodyneSystems I am sorry to hear that but you decided to use cryptsy knowing for many weeks that it's not working properly, trading engine is slow as hell and withdraws are blocked from time to time
For BTC and LTC there are other better and more reliable exchanges.
If you are long in alts, well.. higher risks > higher rewards, not always :-)
