I think I am going to create a faucet myself since I have quite a bit of this coin.

Diff is about to jump up at block 2016. Lets see how this goes. Should reduce orphans for you guys.
How do you know, teach me please. No offense intended, but did you quote the right thing? I assume you know that orphan rate goes way up when the blockrate is super fast (under a few seconds per block).

net hash rate almost 700MH.. pretty good for a coin released at 1 am?
I think it is 700 kh That number is wrong. It's much more.

Has anyone mined more than 100 of these scam-coins?

Those who are trying to sell right now are likely undervaluing this coin immensely. Difficulty has been going up 4x each retarget. Looks like it will settle out somewhere north of 30.0. It is currently 4.0 and was 1.0 just an hour ago. Most of the coins that people have mined were made when diff was well below 1.0. It will soon become VERY difficult to mine CATs.
If you assume CAT is worth only 1/2 of DOGE and adjusting for maximum coins to be mined, CAT is worth well over $1USD each.
We need an exchange.

There is something wrong if in one Night there id already ppl with 1 btc.note fair at all
You seem to misunderstand how scale works.

hey h2o ... watch catcoin Agreed. May become very profitable once an exchange pops up. Estimating their value at half the price of DOGE and adjusting for total currency supply puts them around $1 each.

Cryptsy has (or possibly had) a serious bug in the trading engine.
This is not an "oh stop whining over a slow deposit" issue. The trading engine was executing trades for values I did not specify.
I was trading CENT/XPM one night when the price was fluctuating between 5 and 6 satoshis. I placed buy trades at 5 and selling trades at 6. I did over 100 of these trades, keeping the browser on the same page the entire time. (Note: I did not change the values in the bid/ask price boxes once they were initially set at 5 and 6 - I only clicked the balance and Buy or Sell. This was not a case of fat fingering or confusing the prices.) Little did I know that Cryptsy was actually executing trades at those values and their inverse. So some buy trades executed at 5 and others executed at 6(!!). Some sells happened at 5 and others happened at 6.
This is a serious SERIOUS flaw. You simply cannot run an exchange that does not correctly honor the bid/ask prices that a user specifies. It defeats the entire legitimacy of the system.
Right now I have a -283 XPM. That night I had a 700+ XPM balance. I also have a 0.5 BTC balance on Cryptsy I cannot touch right now also.
I am not alone. Several other people had this same exactly thing happen to them that night. Hopefully they make their voice heard here as well.
BitJohn, can you please address this issue? We have been flooding you with emails/tickets/IRC PMs to little avail. Your flawed system owes us money.

Amazon is next.
If Amazon is next, there will be a BIG BANG within the BTC network! Value will skyrocket imo~ Which leads to an interesting question, if by places accepting bitcoin causes the value to skyrocket, why would be inclined to spend their bitcoins instead of holding onto them to make a nice profit. If companies start accepting bitcoin but no one uses it, what effect would that have on merchants wanting to stick with bitcoin. Not trying to sound negative, just trying to look at all things related bitcoin and try to predict the type of impact it could have. Overstock could probably have 1% of their sales transacted in bitcoin and they would see a return on investment in setting up their payment network. "No" fees is pretty enticing to a low margin retailer.

96 hours, 14 Hashpermin...at least 40 crashes and 10 iussues...
0.00000000000 in my wallet.
That's depressing (and quite impossible)...no Christmas luck for me then.
So if someone who found a block of 280 Coins at 1 Hashpermin is feeling generous... MBMKm9teYENTfaxYkeAAdMpb9BP33254c6
Some really nice guy just sent me 0.5 MMC, you're awesome You are very welcome :-) Now go vote for me! haha

-- My Background: I'm currently in my Senior year at University of Nevada in the Computer Science Program. I have been a "technophile" since I built my first PC at age 11 and have a great deal of experience in information systems of all kinds as well as managing small teams of intelligent individuals. In the past several years I have worked very closely with a team that uses SCRUM to develop enterprise inventory management software. I have been involved heavily in Bitcoin and altcoins since May 2011 when I first started mining. I believe the DAC model that Invictus and others are working toward may very well be the future of our world's economy and I would love to be involved in building the foundations of that system. --
-- Rough thoughts on a Plan of Attack: 1) Open communication channels with entire team. This involves decided on and implementation a workspace and ways to adhoc communicate (Skype/Lync/Sharepoint/Basecamp/whatever) 2) Assess development talent. This involves learning the strengths and weaknesses of each developer on the team. Ongoing as devs are added. 3) Work with team to decide on best source management. Most likely git but we will need some form of scrum-style ticket/backlog system. I am partial to TFS server (esp since the new version works exactly like Git but with some benefits) but I am open to whatever the team is most comfortable with. 4) Decide on feature roadmap and work to build out the backlog and buglog. --
