Skycoin is about to get itself into deep trouble should the recording that just emerged get into the hands of US regulators (SEC, CFTC) as their CEO just admitted that some of his team members and telegram admins have been orchestrating a constant manipulation of the coin. The recording, reported by Jared Dunn, under the Twitter handle @JaredDu71247146, exposes some of the obviously illegal and unprofessional behaviors in cryptos.

What are you even talking about.Please stop your FUD if you don't have any sources. The skyminer is real and shipped. The second batch just goes off too. The software is working and you can set it up.Sure it will take some time before everything will work together as planned since the project is very ambitious. But there is quite a lot of code to be exact. Only because there was a sharp drop in price you should understand that that is nothing special in crypto. And why should they lie about the robbing? That would destroy any reputation of the team or project if it was a lie. |

I actually heard about the airdrop the first time. Was that something like a guarantee at the time of the ICO ? or just a very generous idea from the team ? Is there going to be an official statement from the team addressing the issue? some rumors aren't the best thing, since its designated to generate FUD in the future. I would expect GRAFT to reach higher level since the team is doing a great work and the cryptopia listing or the super nodes are good milestones. But you have to keep in mind that the market is strongly depending on bitcoin and the overall sentiment. It might get hard to reach new highs in a year long bear market
Best this team can do is to burn this damned extra stash instead of airdropping it. I share your opinion, but therefore it would be interesting to know whether this was some sort of insurance during the ICO. But as I said I didn't heard something like this before. I am sure that there are some frustrated people after the ICO because the price performed very bad. But that is something ever ICO investors should be aware off upon investing. There is no such thing as guaranteed profit. I think its a necessary step to facilitate the acceptance of crypto in shops. But do you have any % of how many people actually would like to be paid in fiat ? I would guess that a lot of people willing to accept crypto, will choose Bitcoin, which they are going to hold since the crypto payments aren't going to be a high % of their revenue This vary by country and industry . I tried graft mining with 6 amd gpus, I started two days ago. But I don't get as much as I should, online calculator says one gpu with 950 h/s should mine 47.45 GRFT a day, so 285 for one rig. But I get much less, only 39 per card or 234 per rig. Miner is rock stable, I get even more, 990+ h/s per card, there is no incorrect/invalid shares, I used that miner for XMR, ETN, Sumo... without problem. I'm on graft.hashvault.pro pool, I see pool is strong, 10.5 MH/s finding blocks frequently.
What's going on?
Calculators are estimates . Regardless if you feel you have issue with payouts you should reach out to the pool operators. As alternative you can utilize a different pool . If you use the calculators you do still have to keep in mind that the pool has to find the blocks. That is sometimes more and less because of luck for example. I would search for a bigger pool which is running stable for a greater while and just let the rig mining a few days to calculate the real reward afterwards. |

I tried renting a VPS and it worked for 20-something days then some cache error occurred - easy to clean but I had to go through initial waiting time for revenue so I decided to go with official alqo masternode hosting. https://hosting.alqo.org/Cheers! LOL. You think Tron, EOS and Cardano are worthy of being in the Top10? Are you fucking kidding? NEM should be in the Top10 but they refuse to do anything to really promote themselves more widely in the crypto community or to hype and pump anything. All of that is necessary to be in the Top10 and NEM won't do it because they are arrogant.

The top 10 are getting harder to reach and at the same time much more worthy. It does take only some decent price push for NEM to get in there again, so I have no doubt it will happen soon.
No I think you missed my point. After reading it again my explanation might not be 100% clear. I don't think EOS, TRON or even BCash and Ripple are worth being in the top 10 since I really think they are way overvalued. I meant that with more and more people coming to the space the top 10 itself ( the ranking) gets more worthy. NEM would be one of the coins I definitely see in the Top 10. I know this is a topic which splits the community but I think they really improved and actually making much noise now before cataplut instead of after is just not the spirit |

Low volume with SKY in a downtrend indicates a reversal is near. However, Binance is no Amatuer exchange. Apparently, the sentiment
surrounding SKY is let's say confusing due to to it's model and business plan. Investors know it has been recently cut in half but
is it really on-sale right now per Binance users ? I'd say no. Once you see a true reversal and it gets back over 190 I would stay clear
away from this coin. IMO, I think due to it's low supply, it has a low market cap, thus Binance will treat it as so. Everyone knows SKY's
potential, but a 3rd generation coin neither POS/POW using an unknown algorithm confuses buyers.
Once thing I've learned is uncertainty is bad for any investment. I think SKY will continue it's downtrend, then volume will pick up,
it will drop to .00120 STS's, then some buyers will drive it to .00150 STS's, then the bottom will cave and it will fall to .00060000 STS.
At that point, I would buy for an easy double. Right now, it's a falling knife and nobody on Binance is going to get cut.
I was going to buy SKY a few minutes ago, 20K worth @.00170, but cancelled my order and bought EOS @.0016347 At least with EOS, I can expect
an east double too and Binance investors are aware of what it is and why it's so cheap right now. With SKY, Binance does not know what it is and due to
it's low supply and low market cap, they could trade is down under .00050000 STS's even lower. It's uncertain because the Binance community does not
know what it is nor it's potential.
You will always chose the coin you are most confident in. But personally I would never had chosen EOS above Sky. EOS is full of problems and isn't working at all. Sky took some time but it´s literally getting better each day without tasing 4 bn in a crowd sale and releasing something other devs do with even 100 times less. Not saying it might be the faster option for a quick flip in price if you are just a trader without any plan in holding longer |

Can I ask what does a fourth generational blockchain mean? really im not too familiar with these techy terms... is this referring to a DAG? like hashgrash or something??
Correct me if i'm wrong. 1st gen: PoW coins. Very slow. 2nd gen: smart contracts. Faster but not enough, at least for now. 3rd gen: Solved scalability issues. 4th generation protocol theoretically should combine all the features of previous blockchains. i.e. lightning speed + complex data + smart contracts. There is no real classification till this date. The first would indeed be POW like bitcoin. The second one would be represented by ETH and featuring smart contracts. The ICO time space The 3th generation would indeed be no real blockchain any more. DAG chains, IOT etc The 4th generation would feature interoperability like MVT is aiming for or atomic swaps, TAST etc |

Hmm, we got position #16 on CMC before a while, i.e. BinanceCoin surpassed us. I believe we're still able to return into TOP10, but I'm afraid it will be harder and harder...

I think most coins did pay quite a lot to get listed there, so it might take some time since NEM is normally not paying horrendous amounts. But besides, it is listed on every other reputable exchange and more and more are joining every day. I don't really see the need of another exchange to be honest. How many coins do you need to hold the node now? is there a master node? do you plan to reduce the number of coins required for the node?

Why should it be over at all? This project has just started and got some good volume in the first day of trading. It's just the beginning for Seele. I think you now have a good opportunity to buy tokens while they are greatly underrated. We can easily get 100-200% profit in the near future. Not sure about the numbers we can achieve in the near term but there is a lot of potential for Seele. Well, according to cmc seele is traded at 6x since ico price. mcap is around 80mm. So, when seele will hit another top exchanges we could see 150-300 mcap, which is 2-5x from current price. i don't think so, new listings now have a weak effect, especially on such bloody market, we need a lot of new and fresh money on the market to achieve that goal, but it doesn't come. But, you know, this isn't going to take long. From a fundamental side market much more stronger than it was at 2013-2014. We are now about to enter a new reality. Big boys eventually will come. They already smelled the money. Actually this is not the best time because the market isn't really good at the moment and any further listings will have no big effect unlike before when market was alive and every exchange listings have a great volume and good moving prices. 2013-2014 is a history and i don't believe its going to happen again we are not in that time now and the inflation of users are too far from it. No one is able to predict the future of the markets, we can only try to use the past to get an idea what could happen. 2014 was indeed very different since not that many people or media attention was involved. But actually we will just have to be patient. Seele is a very difficult project to see through since there is not a lot communication with the community. i don't think anything the team does right now is going to affect the price in any way. good news... hope this is the start of the good news around world. about iExec. Yes, of course, this is great news. But then tell me why there is no demand for a token? There is a logical thought, if more people learn about the project, more and more people will want to have this token. It's a good investment, is not it? Why is this not happening? The project exists separately, the token exists separately? I think that will really help to increase popularity in the long run. But right now with the overall market sentiment turning bear, a lot of people don't even invest in Bitcoin any more or just hold it to see where it will go. That is just not yet the time to invest in alt coins again, at least for the every day people. But that is really a cool achievement and I have no doubt that this will help the project |

i agree with you , i think all coins in crypto are at very low prices but XEM looks very attractive for buying , it is one off the more solid investments because the team

Personally, I gonna keep buying more potential coins, including XEM, and hold them till the year of 2019. It's not promising to take profits till the end of 2018. If you dont need to take money out, you should leave it. We havent even seen the tip of the iceberg, just mere speculation It all depends on your financial situation. Since you should have invested only the money you are willing to lose, it might be frustrating right now but not the end of the world to see some retracement. I personally think the Bubble ( if it really is one) is not yet to burst. Its the first time nearly everyone with internet connection is able to take place ins such a revolution. But that all means nothing if you really need the money for something crucial |

downtrend ? Regretfully, Binance should not have run their promotion with SKY when
BTC is hitting one year lows. During these buying contests both buys/sells are registered
so traders are flipping SKY for 10 STS's (.00000010). With the downtrend in BTC, the price of SKY
goes further down because the traders in the context expect less on each flip.
If it were the other way around and BTC was heading towards 11K, right now SKY would be
over 500K STS.
I agree that the competition would have bette be held at a later time space. But the awards for the trading volume aren't achievable by a normal every day crypto user. That will sure be something for the whales. But on the other side, sky will rise in a bull market not depending on any competition. the interesting time has still to come, since the project aims for more than being a speculative asset. The skycoin competition currently running on binance to see who can trade the most lists the top traders by their skycoin trading volume. As you can see below there's about 8 million skycoin traded just from the top 10 people. Over 3 million skycoin traded just from 1 person. According to coinmarketcap there are only 9 million skycoin in circulating supply. So what's going on with skycoin, are like 99% of the coins held in just a few hands? vps or alqo masternode host. in the near future will be possible from webwallet, i guess. would be interesting to see the hosting via web wallet. But that would actually use the official masternode hosting service too right? Curious to see how this is going to work. Should create more hype in the crypto community about the Bitfineon exchange, feels like almost noone knows anything about alqo or bitfineon. Need marketing and awareness.
You are right, a bit more hype around upcoming Bitfineon would be great. The Bitfineon itself will be an attractive selling proposition, there not so many coins (tokens) with fully working meaningful product even in top100 market cap coins. The CMC ranking does not really reflect the actual value of the project or the development. you are right that most higher projects have less achieved and sometimes are just overhyped. The use of ALQO with Bitfineon is great and gives some more demand, but you have to keep in mind that its a centralized exchange. Centralized exchanges generate not that kind of hype as it used to ( except binance). I hope the Exchange gets well adapted and fitting itself well in the ecosystem but why XLQ is not pushed to be traded on new exchanges... i know bitfineon will be the main exchange, but will be better if will be more choices for traders/buyers/sellers/users. Yea. Exactly. I support this new exchange idea. When Cryptopia Devs and Mods? Sure I agree that a broader representation on exchanges will help the project. Cryptopia actually had an offer last time I checked with reduced listing fees. Maybe its really an easy option |
