Nice, been checking the chinese forum since over a month ago (with auto translater  ) and i'm glad i could still buy in at a decent price of around 40 sat right now. Was looking forward to NTX going to an exchange since I missed the IPO. Market cap of 1000 btc shouldn't be hard to reach as a next goal during a couple of days.  Hey guys, I'm new here (to the entire forum  ) but I've been following Super for awhile now (since around the 15k pump). I'm pretty sure that Supercoin has a shot at being up there in the hall of altcoin fame, but the recent dump combined with the hard fork threw us back a lot... And now people are moving on because the mood around here really bums potential investors out. I think that if we all want Supercoin to succeed, we've got to start acting like a real community, not just a bunch of speculating bagholders. Let's be real, our only chance now is to regain investor interest before we fall into the trap of obscurity. We can prevent that by each doing what we can and offering whatever relevant skills and time that can help the coin reach its full potential. I've made a simple infographic about what Supercoin is about. We're a good coin, but our features aren't being noticed, primarily because of the lack of attention grabbing publicity. Hoping that this will be the start of us reaching out to publicise the coin instead of preaching to the converted (or trolls). I'm not a very experienced designer so its not the best work but I'm doing what I can! I'm also planning on making additional infographics for the roadmap (when available) or for whatever other information we can turn into selling points and promote with. (On this note, would appreciate help in organising this information as I'm relatively new to the crypto scene and may not know all the buzzwords out here) Anyway, if y'all like it, share it, post it other places, or anything. I wouldn't be surprised if other anon coin investors set up those walls to prevent people from buying Super. I think everybody realises Super could easily be valued >10 times more (if you compare its price with other anon coins) and looking at the fudders of the past days, they were all investors of other anon coins. Nearly every single one of them. Selling 6 BTC worth of Super at 5200 sat is ridiculous and a real investor would never ever do this. Not at this price. It is clearly a manipulator. I agree. All coins, even bitcoin, are still in the price discovery phase. No-one knows how the whole crypto thing will work out let alone individual coins. This coin has great devs and is a better bet than most. But it is still a gamble, that's the business we're in. We all know not to put all our eggs in one basket. I personally don't have time to watch the markets all the time so I'm more a longer term investor if I can find coins that fit the bill. I believe this is one of them. Time will tell. It is a fast evolving space. I'm very bullish on super. Thats why I want to stake my coins and move on to the next one.

I personally believe that high PoS rates attract investors, and do not impact on inflationary expectations if the rate is tapered properly over the first couple of years. Supercoin gets this right, and with the other aspects, it makes a very good prospect. The message re wallets and fork on Mintpal and Bittrex should panic a few weak hands (who don't bother to read the thread properly), and I am expecting to buy some nice cheap Supercoin in the next day or two. Forks are either a selling or buying signal dependent on the reasons : Guess which this one is ! Exactly, it shouldn't be a problem to surpass last week's highest price again once all problems are settled. |

I was on 126692 synced up and ready, but suddenly i got the message downloading 1600 blocks and out of sync to 128135 again? This is getting strange  Yes the 126692 is the correct chain (now is 126730). 128135 is the wrong one. While we are working on adding new checkpoints that will make sure you are on the right chain, if you sync'ed to the wrong chain, you can do one of the 2 things: (1). Sync from scratch, and use the addnodes from OP. In most case, this should bring you to the right blockchain. In some cases, this may not work. try (2) below. (2). If you don't want to sync from scratch (it takes time to sync), you can download the blockchain here: ****** Note this is a big file (about 90M). Exit your qt, unzip the file you downloaded, and copy database and txleveldb dir, and blk001.dat file to your conf dir, overwrite the old files. Please make sure before you do it, backup your old files (especially wallet.dat - though these files do not overwrite it, you should always backup your wallet file). Using addnodes from OP, and open qt again, you should be syncing to the correct chain. If your wallet amount not correct, go to console (Help->debug Window->Console), and type repairwallet, you should be fine. BTW, if you sync'ed to the right chain, and sometimes it says "downloading 1600 blocks and out of sync to 128xxx", it's fine, you are actually in sync, you can send tx etc, it won't go back to the wrong chain.
