Well, there are 80 blocks left before the hard fork kicks in.
Make that 63 blocks to go. Sure is a lonely life mining this coin right now. Is it just 2 of us, with probably the slowest KH/s too.

If Bitcoin got cracked, hacked, compromised or corrupted one day which meant its end, would that automatically follow for Quark as its algorithm is also SHA256?

Thanks WOPR , If anyone can test this exchange for us to see if it's all good we can add it to the OP . I can confirm Cryptorush and freshmarket are working really well so far. I used Cryptorush last night, i can confirm a very fast turnaround

It seems, that the link for the windows wallet is broken now. It simply opens an www.igotspots.com main page Try it again. Windows QT is now up. Just uploaded it Any update on the Mac wallet. After mining this coin for over a month and buying a fairly large quantity I don't want to lose them. Thanks. I would transfer them to Linux/Windows box with the updated client for now. Thanks for the advice but I don't have access to Linux/Windows. Should I just not open up the wallet after a certain date? Backup .dat then wait for the new wallet and open with my saved .dat? You can do that, or use private keys. Or you can keep them on Cryptsy if you trust them enough I think I'll stick to private keys until the new mac wallet is ready then. Cryptsy seems to have real mixed reviews. Cheers

Any update on the new mac wallet, I don't want to lose my coins.
Developer took more than a month to even set up the shitty fork and won't reply to anyone at all now. You think he is going to post a Mac wallet? Best to get a Windows box and load a wallet on that for now. The developer had said that someone else had done it originally and he would try to find someone to build a new one. The concept behind this coin is great, seems a shame things are at a low right now. People have been mining/buying this coin because they believe in it. Maybe if the developer could have a couple of slices of humble pie with his lunch today and take on board some of the good ideas and information coming from some of the posters on here we could all move ahead. And perhaps start afresh.

Just download and install bitcoin-qt, no need to mess with the wallet file. Thanks for the reply but it's not bitcoin.

Hi, I've been mining spots in one of the pools these last few weeks. I want to buy (exchange some btc) some now, any idea when that might be possible again? Also, my wallet always flags up 'out of sync' though it isn't, will 1.0.4 fix that and does this mean i'll have to download a whole new wallet? Thanks
You can exchange them anytime. They were never removed. From OP, so you have the direct links: EXCHANGING SPOTS Yes, you will have to download a new wallet, but it will sync to the same chain, so it will be as simple as just opening the new client Where can I download a new wallet for my mac from?

Hello,
I have a coin wallet that has a few mined coins in. But now there is a new updated wallet to download. I have been told that the new wallet, once downloaded will sync to the same chain, so it will be as simple as just opening the new client.
Does this mean I will have to transfer my old wallet coins to the new wallet public key address. Will i then have to delete the old wallet?
Im sure there is a quick easy method for doing this.
