201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: February 11, 2016, 06:06:59 PM

eth is not designed to be a currency like bitcoin. it has totally different use case.

I'll guess that many here don't give the slightest shit about it being a currency. They just want to sell it for more than they paid for it. The most powerful demonstration of that would be ETH overtaking BTC without many realising that it's not actually a currency and it's effectively useless to most of them. It could well happen.

You hit the nail on the head.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EHEREUM SCAM EXPOSED: Garage In The Woods Operation on: February 11, 2016, 06:05:02 PM

6. Ether has no development at all. There isn't even an AVERAGELY functioning wallet.

Do you even know what github is?
Just because they haven't put out the "for dummies" version doesn't mean it's not getting done.

You would think a decent wallet would have been the priority. I'm pretty sure the average eth owner is unconcerned, does not care, or does not understand the tech gobbledy gook.
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2016, 01:07:00 AM
Why can't the Eth shills stick to their own thread? I don't go into their thread spamming a shitcoin.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin - New Wallet v2.0.1.0 - CPU & Bandwidth Optimization on: February 07, 2016, 06:33:54 PM
You don't really need much of a computer to run the mintcoin wallet and mint coins. The only taxing event is updating a new wallet. As long as you have room for the blockchain download and a decent internet connection you are good to go.
Minting coins requires no resources other than running the wallet occasionally. The wallet need not be open all the time. As long as you run the wallet regularly and keep a steady balance of coins, you will be rewarded every 20 days. Sweet!
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pump & Dump Scam on: February 05, 2016, 12:59:43 AM
The amount of salty as hell litecoin  eth bagholders is amusing to me.

Ethereum is a legit project and there is no "dump" coming because the community is positive about the future.

Presale buyers will hold on to their coins until they die if need be.

Best community, best developers and best crypto on the market.

Empty scam accusations just show how butthurt you are and say nothing about ethereum which is the least manipulated and most liquid coin in crypto.

Eth bagholders are no different than any other.

Eth is having its day in the sun. Enjoy. When the development money is gone and the hype dries up we will see a different picture.  Its no different than any other mega pump and dump we have experienced.

Keep amassing bitcoin. Keep holding bitcoin.
This will pay off in months and years to come.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COIN WARS: And the battle begins... on: February 01, 2016, 06:05:50 PM
We are going to see a lot of desperate eth bagholder threads now that the price is falling.

Hey, you can move your coins into Ripple if you want.  That or Emercoin would be my next favorites.  But they won't be Fedcoin.  They will be big coins for a while though.   Hell, if you are smart - and lucky - you could probably make more money doing in and out trades of other alt coins.   But I don't trade cause it is too risky.  I HODL.  It is and has always been my strategy.  Look out on the playing field.  Pick your winners - Buy and HODL.

Its just common sense that once Fedcoin is identified, that any reasonable person would be intelligent to diversify into a dual Bitcoin/Fedcoin hodling stance.  And I'm just saying.... Ether is Fedcoin.  Arguing about that won't change the facts.

And if you read everything I have ever posted - I have warned and warned that certain actions will lead to Fedcoin.  I am anti-Fedcoin.  Not my fault Bitcoin Core/Blockstream supporters have sabotaged the Bitcoi Ecosystem.  If this had been handled with a simple 2 mb increase back in August - Bitcoin would be over $1000 now and infrastructure and investment soaring.

But it is what it is.  They opened the door wide and paved the path for Ethereum to get a strong toehold.

Thanks for the trading advice.  Good luck with your investments.

We have eaten some pretty nasty shit. Ever see what goes into wieners and sausages?
Many of us have eaten rat, dog, and cat and never knew it.

I guess I could eat human meat if someone else prepared it nicely. That is ... if I was starving.

I am afraid they are going broke.

Not much chance of that by the looks of the volume.

I've noticed Eth spam is tolerated more than some of the other spam. Then look at the money they are making off eth .... duh.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: January 27, 2016, 01:01:44 AM
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear something even if its not earth shattering news. I'll keep my miners on.

Not at all.  Devs came here, they said they were busy & they said they would be back when they had news.

Ignore the hateful posters here....they have no patience.

I don't see the hate but I do see concern. You've been around here long enough to know how many of these projects never go anywhere after an ICO. These guys pulled in over 800 grand and whatever they dumped when it traded. The OP hasn't posted here since June. Of course, people will be suspicious.
I'm still mining this coin btw.

*We are pre-mining 4.5% of the total ziftrCOINs, 66.7% of which we will give away to consumers. In doing this, we hope that more consumers start to become familiar with cryptocurrency.

Any sleuths here know the state of the giveaway coins?
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: January 24, 2016, 07:20:19 PM
The GoCoin news is interesting but no fanfare here.

Many of these projects start off with great intentions (hype?) and wither away. Have the developers moved on, lost interest, or what?

You would think they would post here regularly to keep people interested.  They were perky when Ziftr started trading.

Always a bad sign when things go silent.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold my alts, all in BTC on: January 24, 2016, 07:11:59 PM
Smart move OP.

Altcoins exist for a reason. To take your bitcoins.
217  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: January 22, 2016, 07:24:04 PM
The trouble with most of these new series including Mr. Robot is: Too much talk and not enough action. Action scenes cost money but soul searching dialog is cheap and easy.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 20, 2016, 08:16:29 PM
I feel sorry for those who panic dumped and lost money because of this joker. Hope they learned from this. HODL.

Hearn, the backstabber, probably made a mint on this crash at your expense.

Lucky7Coin had a trick in it that took out Craptsy. That must be quite a coin. Very features.
