We'd need at least 1000 registered Cryptorush users voting the maximum of 6 times every hour to get to the top of the polls(1 day left to vote). Or ~1.5 BTC to buy that many votes. We've got just over 1200 votes. Top coin has 145,000 votes. I really like this coin. Beside the fact that its name is based on a great scientist, I love the fact that there was no PRE-ANN weeks before the release creating much hype and disappointment when it gets postponed (like most new altcoins). I think this is gonna work out great, and it should be a lesson to other altcoin devs. If you're going to pre-announce a coin, do it after you got everything ready and not more than half an hour before launch, preferably even less. Edit: Oh, now I see someone else already said basically the same thing I did. Good to know I'm not the only one who likes this kind of launch. +1 Yup makes things nice |

Maybe I missed it elsewhere but how come this announcement thread was started 10 mins after the launch time!?
Maybe the coin started but mining didnt started right after launch. When i started mining it was at block ~40 and i was about 10 after the announcement here Hmmm. More like an instalaunch then. Seen a few of these recently, if u don't spot it early u miss out! So I wouldn't call it fair, border-line scam some would argue. 2 months ago every launch was like this. nobody expected pre-announces. And it is better like this no failing pools, no fail launches. Crypto world always was based on luck. If you are lucky you find block, if you are lucky you find new coins if you are lucky you buy in right time. +1 It seems smoother when there is no huge build up. Just launch when your ready and make sure your ready  |

Hate to bring this up again but I don't think the name really matters in the long run. General users will probably call all cryptocurrencies Bitcoin if they ever bring up a transaction in conversation. It will be the Hoover or Kleenex of crypto. They'll say, "I paid with Bitcoin" even if they used DarkCoin or LiteCoin.
It will just be a brand name to them and they'll use the one that best suits their needs. If they don't like their transactions being public knowledge, I think they'll use DarkCoin, otherwise they'll use Bitcoin.
Yes I can see that. Hell I always tell people I am mining bitcoins even though it's alt coins. It's just easier and they know what bitcoins are for the most part |

who's going to mine this shit when the block reward is 1 and the total supply is in the billions.
THIS is the thing that holds me back from buying it. Can someone please answer that question? I just lost a ton of bitcoin with pennie cents so you better be able to tell the answer to that if you want me buying this. TOP can not be compared to CENT. CENT was one of the biggest scams in altcoin history, was 1 coin per block meaning there was a high price, upto 500 sotoshi, but suddenly the POS was generating millions of coins per 1 CENT, allowing whoever had some to dump on the market, and rip off anyone who had buys up. So there is trillions of cent in circulation and billions generated each day, so just went down down down, after hitting 1 sotoshi, went down to 1 lotoshi, then 1 xotoshi, now heading towards 1 dotoshi (CENT/DOGE). Prime example of a bad POS coin, anyone who buys would lose money, since the coins generated is BILLION times more than the demand. Even people are still mining it and its worthless. Good on cryptsy for delisting it, and shame on those other exchanges for listing it TOP is the opposite. Once it gets to 1 coin, thats it... Only way to get is by buying. Miners will be supporting the network. Bag holders will share some hash just to support the network. It does not require much hash to have a network We'll said |

Block explorer is down, so we will fall off of CMC and other things until it returns...
I'm going to try and work with the person who runs it, to see if I can provide a more stable host for them.

I am running the block explorer but have sent my files to top-dude. He is taking over the explorer. For some reason every few days it just stops I just haven't had the time to see why so I restart it. |
