201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 16, 2023, 03:12:13 PM
It's important to keep in mind that gambling should not be a means to an end, but rather a pleasure. We are entering perilous territory the instant it becomes more than a game and less than a fun way to win large. Have you ever observed that experienced gamblers frequently have a cool, composed attitude? They understand that gambling is a journey rather than a sprint. Bankroll management is a lifeline, not just a tactic. It's critical to exercise strict financial discipline. Has the saying "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" ever occurred to you? That is relevant in this case. It's critical to diversify plays, establish clear boundaries, and stick to them. It's all about the long game, not about victories or loses in each session. Have you given any thought to establishing a win/loss cap for every session? It's a wise decision. You're not simply gambling by doing this; you're also planning. Making thoughtful decisions is important, not just winging it. Recall that knowing when to walk away is just as important as knowing when to play

If you seek to earn in gambling on a regular basis, you should not strive to do everything to get a big win. It is better to consistently get small winnings - it is through stability you can become a good player. Through stability develops a sense of confidence and calculation
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 16, 2023, 03:06:09 PM
Sometimes I do when I'm currently on a game which I've  staked and I just wait for the outcome before withdrawing my bankroll and ending the day's session. I do actually set a stopwatch for myself even before starting my gambling session to checkmate my involvement in it. So as soon as my alarm goes off, its time to wrap up whatever I'm doing and end the session. That's the plan, but we're humans and sometimes, the human nature steps in. I tend to ignore the alarm when I'm losing seriously, but the snoozing of the alarm constantly reminds me to wrap it up and  along the line, I'll just give up, log out disappointed and unwilling to engage for longer for the fear of the addiction syndrome settling on me.
Wrapping up for me doesn't have a timeframe, it only has processes which mine is simple. Wait for the last game to end, Withdraw your funds and log out.

You always need to be able to end a game on time - and it's unlikely that you can do that on a buzzer (because you can never pinpoint a convenient time to bet). You'll have to rely more on your inner voice and intuition, as well as whether you're starting to feel tired and your current interest level.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 15, 2023, 05:07:30 PM
Often the casino gives a win the first time, so that a person believes in his strength and continue to play further, not too worried about the size of bets and subsequent losses. It is best to take the winnings and stop playing for a while to listen to your inner voice and realize whether it is worth continuing. There is no need to hurry
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 15, 2023, 05:01:00 PM
If we are talking about full time - it is, of course, poker. To make a good living at it, you need to constantly improve yourself, finish psycholgical courses, try to do sports. There are few successful poker players, but why can't you be successful? There is always a chance
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 15, 2023, 04:53:48 PM
I bet with no specific time criteria or bet amount, it all will be just random and I could wrap up after one bet or it could go on for a long streak, I never try to go hard on the bankroll, if I don't want to bet and still got balance I might considering maxing the bet or just let it how it is and come back when I want to bet again with a top up or just clear the balance without depositing anything.

You have a pretty sensible approach. You should bet exactly when your inner voice tells you to. The probability of winning practically does not depend on the time spent betting. On the contrary, the more time you spend, the more fatigue accumulates and the higher the probability of making an unwise action.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Which do you prefer on: December 15, 2023, 04:24:47 PM
the monthly income they get is only enough for their needs that means they don't have to borrow for their basic needs right? do all people who have limited income they borrow money? i don't think so, because those who have a good mindset might think that with the income they get it can fulfill their needs so why borrow if there is no urgency, but indeed people who have limited income they will meet with unlucky days so maybe they will also borrow money from others. is it wrong for someone to want to start their business? should someone stop there because they know there are risks later if they start a business? if they don't move forward they won't know, because even though there are risks in starting a business in my opinion it doesn't mean we have to stop, because even someone who is successful must have faced risks and experienced failure.

big losses will occur if we don't run the business well, think about this, does someone start a business with the aim of getting losses? of course not, right? of course they start a business to make a profit, so they have to manage it well so that there are no big losses. even if they experience losses I think they should be able to handle it well, that doesn't mean when we get losses we stop, life is not that short my friend.

It all depends on the amount of monthly income, the needs of the individual, and the time it takes to generate that income. If a person spends a very long time earning an income that barely meets their basic needs, is it necessary to hang on to it?
207  Economy / Economics / Re: World is full of things what nobody dont need just too much on: December 15, 2023, 04:16:43 PM

Whoever has used things in the house or things considered outdated for them should let them out to those families that they are better than, take them to the orphanage, NGOs to distribute to the needy and not to keep clustering them in their homes, wasting them while there are people needing them, that is not wise because the economy is hard and some families can't really meet up to their daily needs and they need support from others.

This is the end of the year and it is wise to give out in appreciation of what God has been doing in health and prosperity. So is really a time to give and not to waste what we don't need.

Of course you say sensible things, but it's human nature to keep a stockpile just in case. And since there are a lot of such cases, there are a lot of stocks. To store such stocks, they build closets where things lie for years and decades - and no one touches them. That's true of most
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Boycotting iSrAEl's product? think again. on: December 14, 2023, 04:17:07 PM
Any firm can always use subsidiary firms or partner firms if the people of a particular country start boycotting the goods of the producing country. Therefore, is there any point in a personal boycott if no country-level sanctions have been imposed? And there are always parallel imports
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 14, 2023, 04:09:30 PM
Projects with even the most viable idea can always fall apart due to disagreements or fraudulent team members, faulty marketing strategy and other problems. Wherever a person invests, he should always realize that he can lose money at any moment - and there is no special value in the reliability of the campaign
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 14, 2023, 03:44:20 PM
To begin with, if a person lost money that was not his own, people will try to collect the debt from his relatives. Therefore, it is more logical to sell one's organs - this way one can somehow compensate for the loss. And suicide does not solve anything, except that the soul of the suicide will wander the earth for some time.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 14, 2023, 03:37:28 PM
If the addiction becomes strong, you can always change the name or take a friend with you. It is easier to hire someone to give a frying pan to the head if in response to the question "where did you go?", this person hears something about casinos.

And what happens if the winnings turn out to be 1 million dollars.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 13, 2023, 07:40:24 PM
The banking system still exists - and we have to use it. The president of Argentina wanted to close the central bank, but after his election he abandoned the idea because the state still needs banks to control the population. I think we will see a hybrid of the banking system and cryptocurrencies in the future.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 13, 2023, 07:31:07 PM
The more time spent gambling, the worse your reactions become and the more your intuition is dulled. One unsuccessful bet can wipe out the success of a whole day. It is necessary to bet exactly when your intuition tells you to do so. This is the true
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 13, 2023, 07:22:15 PM
We're likely in for a sideways December. But in January 2024, the upward movement - following likely ETF approval - will continue, and there's a good chance we'll see a new bitcoin ATH in the spring, followed by a big 30-40 percent correction in the summer of 2024.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: December 13, 2023, 07:14:36 PM
In my opinion, artificial intelligence is not very suitable for poker. One of the main things in poker is the ability to bluff. How well and convincingly can an artificial intelligence bluff? It may well learn to do so over time, though.
216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 13, 2023, 06:39:01 PM
To begin with, life itself is a gamble. You never know exactly where you will find and where you will lose, and you never know what step may turn out to be the last one in your life. And gambling is an opportunity, and if you use this opportunity rationally, you can make good money

218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: December 12, 2023, 04:34:14 PM
I am a person who always makes my own decisions and does not depend on anyone so that I can do a special activity, I know that people who have more experience than us can show us paths to follow, or examples to follow, casinos are not It is necessary for them to say it and that thanks to a person we are getting into the habit of going to a casino, on the contrary, I am one of those who think that being in the casino means that things have to be done by one's own decision and not by what tell us, there are many who tell me to do activities, but it doesn't catch my attention, I do what I like and I don't have the need to depend on anyone to do my things.

I live my life the way I want it, there are activities that some friends have taken me to, among them going to drink alcohol every weekend, but that doesn't attract my attention, occasionally social mode yes, but not every weekend During the week, the same thing happens with casinos, I play because I like it and not because someone else does it.

I agree with you. If a person had a bad experience because of terrible intuition or their own intemperance, why is it necessary to listen to their negativity. Experience in gambling is gained through personal trial and error; other people's experience is far from always applicable by others
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 12, 2023, 04:23:48 PM
Hi guys. Someone will explain to me why gamblers have such a strange logic: if a gambler has received a huge multiplier, then he will not withdraw this money. And he will continue to play, saying, "if I'm so lucky, I'll be lucky again now."
But according to the laws of mathematics, the chance of such luck becomes much less, doesn't it?

This is where the excitement and euphoria mode comes into play. After winning a large sum of money, a person often loses the sense of reality, and begins to believe that the lucky streak has just begun. At the same time, a large sum deprives a person of a sense of proportion, and usually he does not notice how his winnings completely disappear
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 12, 2023, 04:14:53 PM
When frustration comes we are meant to misbehave at times, I get it and it will be way more worser if money is involved, I have been cool headed guys losing their cool after they lose money to gambling, the thing is everyone is wired to react to any situation at anytime, I have seen someone who lose money thrice in sport gambling and he quit, just like that, today he never go back to gambling, everyone is wired differently and its better to always control yourself when you are in such situation, even outside of gambling, don't make rash decisions where you will later regret.

Most of the bad news about people in gambling making bad decision because they lose money happens because they are not mentally prepared to lose that money, but they strongly believe that they can win.

I can say that many are not prepared for what is about to happen to them in gambling, they just decide to begin the journey and they aren't prepared for any losses.

Gambling is essentially a test of mental endurance and stress tolerance. The main thing is to understand whether it makes sense to take a risk right now. It is necessary to develop your own criteria for the proper assessment of the situation, and try to be guided only by these signs and criteria
