Nobody gives a damn what you think 435613422 you are a nameless, reputationless, sockpuppet account made for the sole purpose of trolling and shilling. You've been around since 2013 but you have 4 posts amd 3 activity lmao. Take your fake account and fake concern elsewhere or come back with your real account if you want to be treated like a real person with sincere concerns.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [1800+ BTC RAISED] TaaS: Token-as-a-Service | Closed-End fund [JOIN ICO] on: April 07, 2017, 06:33:12 AM
Interested, but after watching the Youtube clip of the guy on Coin Interview... I am quite concerned about this.  Doesn't appear knowledgable, but worse than that, he seems quite shifty.  Can't answer basic questions about his service which is now, I suppose technically, valuated at about $2Mil.  Something's wrong here.

EDIT:  Seriously - check out this interview and then tell me that you're comfortable sending any money or crypto to this guy.  He's a co-founder.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cSK1d-7Irc

EDIT 2: I am getting a bad vibe from these guys, all around.  Good luck investors.  I am out.

EDIT 3: In that interview, I noticed that Dimitri Chupryna really struggled answering any technical questions.  I'll point out that his title, according to the Whitepaper, and the fund's website is as follows: Co-founder, Technology & Analytics.

It doesn't seem like Evan is convinced at all in that interview, he seems extremely skeptical. Not to mention he has to correct Dimitri multiple times during the interview, correct him on things you would hope he is an expert on considering his position in TaaS and the supposed expertise you would hope would go along with such a position. Evan appears to know more than he does... Dimitri didn't even know what a fiduciary was and people are okay with trusting him with millions? Lol.

Also a lot of "maybe's", "I think so's", "should be's", "in the future's", etc coming from Dimitri.

And yeah, his body language is shifty as fuck.

Yeah, this just reeks.  I hope nobody gets screwed out of their hard-earned funds.  I've been involved in enough Security-scams to be have a pretty good spidey-sense and it is definitely going off here.

I don't really think you can nail him with that performance, some people are very nervous on camera especially if you are doing it for the first time
He doesn't look nervous per se but okay fair, that still wouldn't explain why he doesn't answer the questions correctly/doesn't know certain things he should know. Evan is clearly not impressed with his answers or knowledge of the subjects in that interview. One would hope it would come off as Evan interviewing somebody with an expertise in what they are doing or at least somebody more knowledgeable than himself but it comes off as the opposite. Isn't Dimitri supposed to be their lead/expert of technology and analytics?

And I really wish somebody would respond to my post about what seem to be inconsistencies in their proclaimed experience on their website and what they actually have done according to their work history on their linkedins. I just feel like these guys are trying to sell themselves a little more than they can reasonably attest to, which I guess makes sense considering they are trying to raise 101 million USD which would be the largest ICO in history.

Call me crazy but if you want to hold the largest ICO in history I feel like there should be some pretty damn good/distinguished/recognized experts leading the project or something that can justify that level of trust and confidence from investors.

Hi dear.
it is really nice to see that you've researched about TaaS very deeply and pointed out those points and weakness above.. I am really not able to answer them because I don't belong to technical department. but I've sent your questions to all founders and asked them to must answer them because these questions are really important and must be answered. I hope someone from core team will come online and give you a detailed answer. and you can join telegram and talk to them live and ask any question you have in mind.

thank you so much for your time.

Okay so TaaS has been pretty active in here since this but still no response, kind of discouraging tbh.

Still nothing.

And really is nobody concerned at all that a film studies major with only a few years experience as an independent/"private" trader is going to be the lead of trading for this multimillion dollar fund?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1775766.msg18423146#msg18423146

I've got a masters in biochemistry and have been independently trading since 2012 does that mean you all would trust me with your money?

I do hope you guys did your due diligence on humaniq as I have been seeing a lot of skepticism about them on the ethereum reddit and their bitcointalk thread too.

Concern for me began when I checked out Alex Fork's linkedin account and noticed he is connected to a friend of mine from high school (in the USA) who is not involved in crypto or tech at all. So I asked him why he is connected, and he said he doesn't know him and just got a random request from him to connect and accepted it. In other words he is spamming for connections on linkedin, which doesn't necessarily mean anything but is kind of fishy.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: April 07, 2017, 06:10:53 AM
I am always amazed of the market cap of altcoins at the moment, some copycat coins getting 40 million plus at different times and vapourware like maidsafe having 80 million dollars plus. Skycoin is in the league of ethereum and Dash, really a marketcap of 150 million is my low valuation in one year.
If dash niche was privacy well a coin with privacy  network and the number of other features, how would would value this coin in a year or two years?

right on the market the coin should be 10 million, marketing growth and the going to the right conferences like open garden community it be soon 50 million.

with development releases and exciting news in a year 150 million

whale pumps could see 300 million very quickly.

do it right, which so far i believe it has been done perfectly.

put on a "anonymous mask" onto the coin and hit that privacy and censorship market. really could see 5 billion dollars

really your 50cents really could be $100 easy.
suggest putting in a least 1000 on order when you can, growth factor and first to market is going make people mouths drop, It is life changing opportunity possibility, turning poor people into wealthy people.

How will initial market cap be calculated? Or rather, what is the total supply going to be considered to be at release? This is one thing that isn't completely clear to me. Will a portion of the supply be considered inaccessible at the beginning or will all 100 million be factored into the calculation of market cap?

Coinmarketcap uses the total supply (number of coins on the blockchain) to calculate market cap, which for SKY will include any coins held in cold storage / in the dev fund for future development and projects. But keeping so many coins in reserve will be great for the price on the exchanges, although there will need to be transparency about the funds being held in reserve when the project gets to the point that really big investors hear about it and consider investing.

The reason I was wondering is because projects like Synero have somehow convinced coinmarketcap.com to calculate their market cap based only on circulating supply (around 80 million for the case of AMP) when the total supply is much larger (something around 950 million AMP).

Again, personal attacks because I pointed out that your dividends vs. buyback argument is baseless for one simple reason:

The same amount of profit gets distributed to ICN holders either way.  It's the profit itself that gives ICN value, not the distribution mechanism.

I believe I have correctly assessed that you are incapable of addressing the points that have been made.

If you wish to take that personally, so be it.

I already addressed them but you go around in circles and put the focus on me to try to distract from this simple fact:

It's the profit itself that gives ICN tokens value, not the distribution mechanism.

And I explained why that won't work the way you seem to think it will.

Profit via dividends = obvious token of value
Theoretical profit via buyback when we potentially hold no rights/perks = a whole lot of variables/concerns which you can't address

Again, please pass this on to the team. I've saved the page, in case anybody deletes any part of the discussion.

It's been an interesting discussion, though, and I hope to see an official word which will clear up the things we've discussed here.

How are the profits from dividends any less "theoretical" than profits from the buybacks?

They could suddenly choose not to send out dividends in the same exact fashion they could suddenly choose to not perform the buybacks. The dividends were never going to be fully automated, it's not possible. Neither system is trustless. The same risks apply, in both situations you have to trust the team to do what they say.

If you're concerned about market fluctuations affecting the amount of profit realized (in terms of fiat or BTC) by the individual with buybacks, the same concerns apply to dividends. The ETH market could crash right after they buy up the ETH and send it out as dividends in the same manner the ICN market could crash right when you go to sell the fraction of your ICN holdings needed to realize profit from the burn.

qtum will mainly depend on china market

I don`t think it matters Cheesy

It'll be a big part of it's success for sure but I would like to see Qtum be more accepted globally as well.  There's definitely a lot of potential.  I think it's a great idea now they need to really execute well on it and beat competitors to market.  They raised a lot of money and sure they can be comfortable now but if they really grow Qtum they can be truly insanely wealthy.  This has a lot of potential, I mean theoretically the tokens could be worth MORE than ETH if they really got people to move the apps they were building for Ethereum over to Qtum to take advantage of the SPV/mobile capabilities.  Of course there are competitors working on making Ethereum more portable but so far they all seem to have some big flaws.

I'm actually regretting not investing more during this ICO, but I invested around what the average was which should be good enough for now until they actually build a working platform.  I think this is actually a much bigger ICO even though it sold more slowly than Cosmos because while Cosmos is very innovative and has a very impressive team behind it as well it's also much more prone to competitors-there's no reason why multiple people can't just straight clone Cosmos and provide a cheaper bridge between the blockchains by offering cheaper alternatives to atoms.  And I could see a lot of big blockchains being resistant to being linked to competing blockchains, since every blockchain is fighting at this point to become "the one".

Can't wait to see what the Qtum team builds.

The team apparently isn't able to keep track of and verify their ICO funds and you are this confident in them? Why? It looks like they are either lying about how much money they got in the ICO or one/some of the exchanges they were working with to host the ICO aren't handing them over because so far they aren't capable of producing proof of the funds. Any moron can do it, but not these geniuses.

If you look at the rich list it is clear the big players aren't worried

Quite an assumption there.

Who are the big players? How do you know they're not worried?

If you have concerns, it doesn't necessarily mean you sell your pot. And the bigger you are, the harder it is to move it out and sell/dump.

Your sentiments are nice, but "just let them get on with it" isn't the right move for everybody, and people shouldn't be encouraged to keep quiet. Their voices might actually make things work out better for people like you, too.
If the big players were concerned they would be voicing their concerns and leveraging their positions to get the team to act or speak but they aren't now are they?

And we know for fact that one big fish, Mal, isn't worried about these stupid little things and still believes in Iconomi.

But sure, go ahead and keep on clucking chicken little. The sky is falling! The sky is falling!
What a sad existence.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 05, 2017, 08:27:52 PM
oh my god.

let me make that crystal clear for you.

Jani, the CO-FOUNDER from ICONOMI is the one being referred to in the screen shot.

You are the only one who seems to be confusing him with the guy from cofound.it

Anyone with 2 brain cells would have got that by now, but hey....¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not once did I say that the Jani you were talking to was definitely the Jani from Cofound.it

...I said there MAY BE some confusion. I was trying to explain there are TWO Jani's. You jumped to the conclusion that it was definitely the one from Iconomi. I was waiting for clarification. Some kind of adult constructive response like "oh no i asked him it's definitely this or that Jani" but no. Just random name calling.

If this was the Jani from Iconomi then I'm as angry about it as you! I can't understand why he would be on the cofound.it slack that's why I was explaining there might be confusion as this would be a very bad move by Iconomi. I can't believe this would be the case being two different separate companies.

If you are right I apologies for getting angry at you as I should have directed that at Iconomi. But I can't for a second believe this is right without proof or clarification. Something which has still not been provided yet you seem to be sure of?Huh To me there is clearly a confusion in names so unless you can prove otherwise YOU are jumping to conclusions and spreading incorrect information.

kindly explain to me how I am the one who is confused when Jan from confound.it clearly confirms that it is indeed Jani, the co-founder

of ICONOMI.

I quote:

"now we heard it from the man himself :slightly_smiling_face:  thanks for chiming in jani"

What exactly is so controversial about what he said? He is absolutely right, right now they need to focus on developement. What's the point in marketing a product that isn't ready yet? When they could use that time, energy, and money to finish said product?

And who cares if Jani is in the cofound slack? You guys are looking for every little thing to crtisize. He probably is just tired of you annoying fucks asking the same questions over and over again in the iconomi slack. Did you know he also shits in a bathroom? And might occasionally enjoy a cold beer at a bar? Omg but he could use that time to work on iconomi.

These people are just human too and they are never going to be able to please all the needy people in crypto, so more power to them for keeping their focus on the big things and ignoring the constant barrage from so-called investors.

If you aren't happy with the level of communication right now then you are free to sell. Nobody will stop you. I am glad they aren't wasting their time on every little question and concern impatient fucks keep clucking on about. Why should they care about so-called investors who won't trust them and their judgement? True investors would be better off if the lil kids with weak hands just got the fuck out now. If you look at the rich list it is clear the big players aren't worried, just a bunch of whiny kids worried about their lunch money.

Stop bitching and complaining, nobody has time for you. Put your money where your mouth is and just sell already if you can't handle the situation.

It seems like none of you have invested in a real world startup before based on your expectations of perfect transparency and constant communication. That's not how it works, that's not feasible.

Everybody bitching right now reminds me of the people that bitched and complained about ETH during its extended lull period before the huge breakout, I bet you guys would have sold your eth below $4. Go ahead, sell ICN now and see if you regret it later. Only time will tell but something tells me most of you aren't quite dumb enough to take that risk.

You know what would help build confidence in this project way more than an endless stream of paid for press releases that all say the same thing? If you would respond to peoples' requests for transparency with the ICO funds. Take a lesson from the skycoin dev on how to interact with investors and deal with questions and concerns like the professionals you ought to be.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: April 04, 2017, 11:27:59 PM
Thank you very much for your replies skycoin. I really appreciate you taking your time to respond, and I am beyond satisfied by the thoroughness of your responses. And I'm sorry this thread devolved into what it did. To keep my response simple because I've already done my share of talking and I know people are tired of hearing me, I'll just say that your response has relieved any doubts I had in you or your project and leave it at that. This is a perfect example of how a professional deals with and responds to questions and concerns appropriately. Thank you.

Buyback didn't raise the ICN price. It was expected to go to $1 after buyback but btc price played the spoilsport.
Now we can only wait till next btc dump for ICN pump.

...

...

seriously shut up

this thread only wants lambos and moon talk.

no more FUD.

Calm down homie. He isn`t fudding. He´s only telling the truth regardless if you like his honest style or not, but if you are honest with yourself you have to admit that he`s right here. I don`t say I agree 100% with him all the time but a buyback of 1000 ETH at 50 - 60k sats isn`t much and would have little to no effect on 100 million tokens out there.

It would be a wise decision to let the price drop down further so that in the end more tokens getting burned and after the platform release we moon even harder because of the lower supply. It wasn`t easy writing this and I had a hard time thinking about whether if it`s a good idea or not. Because I am a strong believer/supporter of ICONOMI and I don`t want to harm the project I`m into but I always try to approach things rational and logical and if I do this here too I have to say I would like to see lower prices for the next 90 days.

Sorry for all moon kids who want to get rich quick. I`m not one of you.

For all the others keep HODLING!

This is just the first buy back using only a small amount of profit they obtained from a single ICNP trade of Golem, while it is true that the more they can buyback the better in the longrun this shold be peanuts compared to what they will be buying back in the future if things go well so I don't think it is such a big deal.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ChronoBank vs. Qtum, which you choose? on: April 04, 2017, 02:58:29 PM

Lol. So until now Qtum didn't show their ICO addresses? Good thing I heard the scam thing before their ICO even started. It was raining thru posts and threads here in forum and is gaining too much popularity.

They still have not shown their ICO addresses and they refuse to even respond to requests to do so.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: April 04, 2017, 02:41:04 PM

no one ask you invest anything into a project man.

do not invest skycoin or qtum.

or even bitcoin.

everything has the risk, just hold your dollars.
Just put this guy on ignore, I don't even know why he's posting on other threads now about his paranoid obsession with Qtum, the Qtum ICO is long over but he literally posts this nonsense nonstop on multiple threads.  At this point Qtum could launch and actually deliver a fully functioning compute uxto blockchain and he'll probably still be posting this gibberish everywhere.  It's gotten to the point where the Qtum thread literally is just trolls posting this trash instead of any actual technical discussion, which is really very unfortunate.

What other thread besides qtum threads and now this one have I posted about qtum in? Please do share such posts otherwise you are just making stuff up about me to help your narrative and you are a liar. Anybody can now look through my post history and see that you lied, nice work you played yourself.

And at this point all qtum would have to do is share with their investors tx ids or addresses for the ICO funds they claim to have raised and I would leave them alone but they are unwilling to provide that basic level of transparency they said they would before the ICO.

Why is everybody being so freaking defensive and dismissive of the simple questions I asked skycoin? And fine I'm done here, already said I was but you guys keep reeling me back in and then getting upset when I respond to posts that are deceitful and derogatory towards me. Only way I'll post on here again is if skycoin decides to respond to my questions in which case I may still invest, or if one of you decides to respond to me or bring me up again for no reason- considering I was never speaking to you- in which case I'll be compelled to defend and justify myself.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 04, 2017, 09:01:24 AM
It's almost like the devs priority is developing and finishing the platform. How dare they not care about pump and dumps!
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: April 04, 2017, 05:06:27 AM
mmmm The same people on the qtum page calling it a scam has migrated here now attacking this thread..   with allegations and speculation on just  a "witch hunt",

It does not matter Just burn the witch..

If you do not like the project well just go! I have bought the ICO, you have not move along and go buy Ripple..

Personally I am going to use skynet everyday and want too see it built..

The heck are you talking about, I'm not accusing skycoin of anything. I've been following this project for years waiting for the ICO and when skycoin made the post praising qtum, yeah, it concerned me because I (and many, many others) do strongly believe qtum is a scam. All I'm doing is asking skycoin some pretty basic questions, why would you need to get so defensive about that?

I come in here after seeing the ICO is live on icocountdown to check on the state of things before putting my money in and the first thing I see is "qtum". Yeah excuse me for now wanting a bit of an explanation as to why skycoin supports a project many consider shady af before I invest my hard earned money here.

no one ask you invest anything into a project man.

Where did I say anybody told me to do anything? Stop straw-manning me. Why do you act like it is unacceptable for people to ask questions before they choose whether or not to invest money in something? And if you want me to stop posting then stop responding to me (when I'm not even talking to you) with useless, dismissive, and insulting responses.

I never asked you anything. If skycoin doesn't want to answer my questions that's their choice and that's fine and as I said in the post above yours I'll just take my money elsewhere- but you don't get to respond for them. Also hilariously ironic how in the same post you say that nobody is telling me what to do, you then try to tell me what to do lol.

so they did hold preciously their btc (byteball linked ?) and had an important benefit with them in dollar terms, but mobilized recently 1,900 btc out of 6,900 :does anybody know what was this movement for? an important investment move anyway...

Good question.

This will hopefully be shown in future quarterly reports. We're at the start of the second quarter, and the first buyback period was stated to last 90 days:

Quote
1,000 ETH will be used to purchase ICN in a 90 day period starting from 1st of April 2017.

... with a quarterly report in Q2, after this period has ended:

Quote
ICONOMI will disclose its ICN purchases i.e. total number of tokens purchased and the average price paid per token in a quarterly report for Q2 2017.

(Source: https://medium.com/iconominet/iconomi-introduces-repayment-programme-54bfa449d458)

These two pieces of information tell us that the quarterly report won't be published until the end of June (the end of Q2, and the end of the 90 day buyback period)

If this is a full quarterly report, then the BTC (and other spending) should be accounted for in that report, as well as the ICN buyback information.

Note to Iconomi team: A summary email (which investors receive every so often) is NOT a quarterly report.

Investors should expect to see a detailed report of BTC (and any other funds) spent, as well as information on the 1000 ETH buyback, shortly after the end of June. References to blockchain transactions for any blockchain spending would also be beneficial to the diligent investor.

If this report contains ONLY the buyback information, then you should be making it clear that you want to see more detailed information on spending, and income, in a proper published report. And not just an 'update' email.

As we have just exited Q1, it's possible that a Q1 report will be shared soon, but there's been no indication of this so far, and I don't expect this to happen. It would be nice if it did, though.

This is how we encourage transparency, and accountability.

I look forward to seeing how much detail this report will contain.

As always, Mendeleev has got your back  Cool

I agree completely with you here Mendeleev. Simple email summaries do not count as quarterly reports. And in general the team needs to be better about transparency and communication with investors. For example it would be nice to know what the 450 BTC moved today is being moved for. The sooner the better so that peoples' imaginations don't run wild.

Anyways, nice work on the whitepapers devs. Looking forward to the future of this project.
