is there a way to see staking difficulty history data? i'm not sure but since staking happens just once every 30 days, it would make sense to have a maximum staking difficulty option into the wallet, this way holders can control (to some extents) the % instead of keeping the wallet encrypted and watching manually for the right diff... edit: imvho, it would also avoid having lot of wallets staking at the same time thus having too high increases of staking difficulty, wouldn't it?

imho we should incentivate donations instead of begging for donations... what about a weekly lottery where participating cost you eg. 1 xmr and the winner gets eg. 50% of the jackpot and the remaining 50% goes to developers? we could use the block hash to choose the winner like fairpumps.net is doing for choosing the coin to pump (just an idea)... it would be even better if it could be implemented directly into the gui (just to incentivate a little more the developers to finally release it ). what do you think?

viz, be prepared to hear a lot of people screaming about unfair launch if letting out nvidia card owners... if the launch can't be delayed anymore, i would suggest to at least hold back gpu mining, however i'm not sure if it's possible code wise. you can also offer a bounty for optimizing the miners code: wolf0, djm34 and cbuchner1 are the coders i'm aware of with enough skills for accomplishing this task... excluding optimized private miners is the key for a fair launch imho (read the cryptonite thread and you'll find out why).
