201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the Top potential coin to buy now? on: February 27, 2019, 10:14:19 AM
Which is the top most potential coin  to buy now?
At the present time, many currencies have potential, but LTC (Litecoin) is the most potential. In early 2019, LTC had a change in the system and developed good technology, and changing the logo was a sign of innovation and positive development.
In my opinion, LTC can easily grow strongly in Q3 because it is the period of greatest purchasing power, changes in 2019 show us their ambitions.
For LTC lovers, the "LiteCoin halving" event is approaching on August 8, 2019 is the most anticipated. In the past in 2015, it also halving once, causing LTC prices to increase 2-3 times. That's why I expect this price increase of LTC. Wink
LTC is a sign of a bright future and value will increase sharply in 2-3 years.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think a lot of people just missed their chance on: February 26, 2019, 06:43:26 PM
It seems to be going up and not coming back down again.
Investment is quite risky, not everyone wants to risk. Because the crypto market is always volatile, so the risk of risk is very high.
Price is increasing but not too much. As I think, investors are waiting for the best opportunity to happen.
You have to learn how to accept the worst that can happen, then you can invest successfully. Wish you have a good chance Wink
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: February 26, 2019, 01:04:26 PM
After 2017 max ICO profits, ICO has since then been a high target for scammers but alas ICO will still survive on the long run ,bitorrent and fetch.ai has proven that, many investors are now getting smart and extremely more careful ,its really a good thing ,before we know it the scam rate will get lower and scammers won't make a dime from ICO anymore. I think action speaks more than words,no one wants to lose money to scam projects anymore so they are forced to learn how to spot good projects to invest in. Warning doesn't work but investors losing money does makes them learn.
I know that with the appearance of the IEO, investors will be more secure when buying token of the project. This will also be a new trend for 2019 and ICO will soon be removed from the crypto market because the system is not transparent and accused of negative news.
The IEO will help us have a new playground and investors will have a great source of income coming from successful IEO projects.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 26, 2019, 12:53:19 PM
If the bear market stays longer than expected will you take your leave and forget cryptocurrency ever existed? But the marketcap is getting larger and larger is that not enough to change your minds and stay?
In my opinion, when you invest in a market that lacks patience you will easily receive failure. Because in the field of investment, consistency and patience are the key to success.
Although the market is in a bad phase, you can still make money from the volatility of the market (buy low and sell high). In general, we should stay and keep track of how the market works and offer the best investment plan. good luck  Wink
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BAD NEWS on: February 26, 2019, 12:38:26 PM
I just saw this information even though this post was created on 15 January 2019.

1. Does this make things worse again this year?
2. Will the price get worse?
3. What actions do you take with information like this?

In my experience, the hard-fork times before, eg Bitcoin Cash have been reduced sharply. Since then, ETH will also have similar results.
If you are planning to invest in ETH, delay it a few days after the hard fork succeeds. Its price will be much lower and you will have the opportunity to buy cheaply.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: December 30, 2018, 11:00:57 AM
The bitcoin need a miracle as the entire bitcoin market cap slumped down to $61 Billion.
We all need a miracle. Heck, the whole cryptocurrency market needs a miracle as the market cap slump to only $112 Billion.
The bitcoin market cap reached over $320 billion in December 2017 and the cryptocurrency market was at around $840 billion respectively.
What y'all got to say about the cryptocurrency market situation at the moment?

we don't need a miracle, we only need main investors. main investors always know what they must do to keep the market well and they still achieve the desired profit. I always want that our market is adjusted at low prices and then grow slowly. I don't want the value of bitcoin to rise and fall too fast. It will cause a lot of risks for me.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Inflation on: December 30, 2018, 10:57:53 AM
Only a controlled economy can be spared from inflation (though this is also debatable). In an open market like we are enjoying right now, inflation is a matter of fact and is part of the reality of life. Nobody is immune from the power of inflation.

Inflation happens when when the price of goods/services rise up and the money you are holding has less purchasing power like it has before. When inflation rate is going up what is happening is that our money's purchasing is going down. For example, if one bar of soap can cost $1 and the inflation is 5% then there is a possibility that soon the cost of that soap can be $1.05 or maybe what the soap manufacturer would do is reduce the quantity and quality side so that the price remains but the same product is not there anymore.

Now, talking about inflation, I am wondering if Bitcoin can be an anti-inflation agent or will it even induce inflation to a higher level?

There have been many discussions -- continuing discussions in fact -- on this subject and still there is no definite answer maybe because Bitcoin is still relatively new and theories/speculations are still waiting for validation.
I think we should not play risks. Because when you buy BTC or other altcoins, it is still affected by the external financial market and its price still falls. I think it will not help us keep the value of our money.
Instead of investing in electronic money, let's invest in gold or real estate. these are assets that keep your money's value and even increase every year.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: December 29, 2018, 04:49:42 AM
1. Surprise - Life goes on Smiley

2. Much more projects will die

3. New projects will start

4. It will be a year of crypto education

5. It will be a year of maturation

6. Delays of fully POS in Ethereum

7. Improvements in User Experience - Keep an eye out for (Elrond - work on exquisite user experience is being done)

8. Facebook in crypto?

9. ..... - You write your predictions
The BTC will increase at $ 7000 and we will once again enjoy the great feeling of being involved at the time of strong market growth.
I believe 2019 will be the year of crypto development because it has been stable for so long and the decline has happened too much at the end of 2018.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: December 29, 2018, 04:31:25 AM
The current situation has caused me to hold huge sum of money that I intended putting into btc and altcoins. I know once btc jump, altcoins does same.
So the question is can anyone predict the price of btc for the next month? To enable me invest...
Technical analysis is not suitable for crypto markets. But I think that the growth of BTC will take place slowly and the big pumps will not appear again. Don't expect it to grow by $ 3000 - $ 5,000 in a few months. Please give it time. 2019 will be the year of BTC recovery, it will increase to $ 6,000.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better option for trading Bitcoin or stocks ? on: December 28, 2018, 10:44:24 AM
Hi guys , can you tell me which is better option for trading Bitcoin or stocks and how
If you know a lot about crypto and bitcoin, invest in the crypto market. because knowledge will bring success to you. When the market goes down, you will still have a way to make money because you are knowledgeable about it. invest in the field you understand most about it.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning. Be very careful with bitbay Exchange!! on: December 28, 2018, 10:38:57 AM
Hi
I would like to warn you about this exchange: bitbay.
After depositing my money on their trading platform, they froze my account for no reason, they asked me for a selfie with my ID that I promptly sent to them.
After a few days they do not answer anymore and they keep my money or bitcoin without reason.
be very careful if you want to use this exchange.
You risk losing money or bitcoins and nobody answers you!!
Be careful with new exchanges, where a lot of fraudulent things happen.
The trading floors even fabricated that the trading floor was knocked down and they took all the users' money and fled. so investing in large exchanges will be better.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money with bitcoin price dropping? on: December 28, 2018, 10:32:10 AM
I heard in stocks, this is called shorting.  But i read if you short, you could lose a huge amount of money.  Could you do this with bitcoin?  Example my thoughts were hey its the holidays, so most likely ppl will withdraw money and thus btc drops.  So i figure around now, btc price would drop.

Your reasoning may be correct and you go on implementing your investment strategy. According to my long experience in the investment field, no strategy is the best strategy. The strategy is only best when it is created by yourself with your own rules. So be confident to invest in your favorite altcoin. If there's a mistake, fix it, until you get a profit.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: December 27, 2018, 05:38:26 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
In order to invest in successful ICO projects, you need to have a lot of relationships and a lot of money. You need to have the power to know what good projects or bad projects are.
If you still have no power, invest in BTC and wait patiently. Its price will soon rise to $ 7000 in 2019.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $2000 to invest ? on: December 27, 2018, 05:36:04 PM
I have got have $2000 to invest and I am planning to invest it into stellar, ripple, ethreum or else half the amount in but coin and remaining half in newly launched ICO. Which one would be a better option?
At sensitive times like now, new altcoins and tokens are very volatile, I think you should invest in developing altcoins without raising capital.
that's the altcoins very easy to fly because now the price of ETH and BTC is quite low. The whales and organizers can make its price x100 easy. You can refer to this altcoin: banano.cc
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: December 26, 2018, 01:29:13 PM
I decided to quit ICO's. From December till now I invested about 5 eth into several ICO's. Invest what you can miss, this is what was able to miss.

Right now the first few of my ICO's have reached the exchanges. Most are under performing, but this is related to the overall dip (can be read everywhere). I understand, but ICO token economics have changed also.

  • massive hardcaps
  • most is sold in pre-sale to big investors, leaving scraps for crowdsale
  • much attention to marketing, less to working product or realistic time lines
  • immediately available on EtherDelta and IDEX, sure sign of little interest in token economics/future
  • no lock on pre-sale tokens, whales take their x2, x3 or x-whatever as soon as possible (I would probably have done the same). Prices drop to below ICO price.
  • too many ICO's without distinctive differences.
  • too many ICO's in general
  • too much tokens reserved for team/marketing
  • many ICO's don't even have a crowdsale anymore (which perhaps is a good thing as the little investors are protected this way)
  • ICO prizes are quite high. 1eth = 1000/4000 tokens is pretty common, but with a hc of 40 million, this will not easily go x10 or more.

I was 'unlucky' to miss out on a few ICO's besides the ones I was able to participate in. Afterwards I am glad, since I was able to pick most up at a fraction of the ICO price.

Important as ever: DYOR as not all ICO's have a genuine solution to a genuine problem. Some may seem like a fantastic solution, but often it is marketing combined with a strong team, and not so much a great working product.

And who am I? I am definitely a nobody Tongue, but still wanted to share my experiences and perhaps save people from thinking of getting on board of the next x100 ICO Smiley

p.s. when a Telegram has over 20k subscribers all screaming 'when lambo' with endless rows of animated gifs, you may also wonder if this is a serious block chain solution which will revolutionize 'x' Smiley
I very much agree with you on this. some ICO projects flew high on the trading floor but their products were not as good as they said. Since then shows a good and reputable team plus a large fund from angel investors to help that project succeed.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: December 26, 2018, 01:27:19 PM
they bought a lot of gold because they feared that fiat money would lose much value in 2019. because only gold could retain its value every year and it could increase.
But not everyone buys gold, real estate is also a safe investment. Looking ahead, the forex market will be volatile.
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: December 26, 2018, 01:03:24 PM
What are your opinions?

For a long time I thought BTC stabilized at $6400, then boom!

I would like to get some views to help me decide what to do.

It has been a wild ride (to put it mildly!)  It can be scary.
The scary thing happened and our market was no longer stable. I also anticipated that, so I sold my BTC because economic downturns would make the price of cryptos go down.
But this will be a good time to start investing again. The price of bitcoin cannot be lower than $ 3k5 anymore.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed for a recession? on: December 26, 2018, 12:55:30 PM
The stock market really doesn't affect the crypto market so much. Our market is decided by an organization and the stock market is made up of investors in the world.
That is the difference and we cannot compare the crypto and stock markets. We are definitely going to a recession because fiat money is always inflated every year.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: December 26, 2018, 12:53:06 PM
I would say that paper currency is the greatest scam ever to enslave mankind.

Bankers charge interest for a thing which has been created out of thin air.

The paper currency gradually decreases in its value due to inflation over time.

So naturally people tend to move towards cryptos which are free from inflation and the bankers and big economists once again want to pull back people to the traditional enslaving system.

Now the choice is yours.

Enslavery or Financial Freedom?

Think Wise and Twice.
I still decided to choose fiat money and would use it to invest in real estate or gold. If you think fiat money is a failure, think carefully. For me, crypto is just a money transfer tool and it cannot be a currency to use for many different purposes like fiat money. What do you think about a market that always has daily fluctuations? What do you think your daily assets are always fluctuating even though you don't affect it?
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking kills the cryptocurrency market on: December 24, 2018, 04:36:45 AM
Hacking is one of the biggest obstacles to the cryptocurrency market.
1- Ever been hacked?
2- Lost your coins in an exchange hacking?
3-Did the exchange pay you back for lost coins?

Please share your story, and give some TIPS on how to avoid being hacked.

How to avoid being hacked is not to click on strange links and install security software on your browser.
when you accidentally click on a link, it will block you. When your computer is hacked, it will steal all your information and your property is in the crypto market. blockchain technology has no refund service, so be careful.
