Weekly Update 4/23/2014.

Datacenter:

We are up to 64.34 Th/s and expect by the end of the month to be around ~170 TH/s.  Everything is in place to expand our hash rate to this level.

VMC:

We have announced our Gold Rush boards and have had a very positive response.  We are now training and switching our help to do more shipping than build of the mine.
We have 100 Gold Rush boards in stock for immediate shipping.  We have worked out the logistics for this.

MSD:

Nothing new at this time.

Shares:

Nothing new at this time.

And the financial report?

Weekly Update 3/19/2014

We are expecting the next increase in hashing power to be ~100 TH/s within a month for a total of ~200 TH/s.

So we're meant to be hashing at ~200TH/s now. What happened? I know there was some issues with the cooling but, that's been resolved for some time now and we still aren't particularly close to 200TH/s
203  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 22, 2014, 01:41:33 AM

7) Is there an ongoing cooperation with Allied Control in terms of Datacenter development? How does ASICMiner/shareholders profit from it?
re 7) Their container project seems going well. Also there are third party designers planning to make boards solely for immersion cooling. So we don't have to spend much design efforts on it.

This is a kind of confusing answer. It seems to imply that we aren't really involved and probably won't profit from whatever comes of it. But it doesn't explicitly state that.

"We don't have to spend much design efforts on it", meaning we are spending some (just not much) design efforts on it?

Disappointed in the non answer to question 7, but overall happy.  Thank you jutarul for keeping the little guy informed.
If there are follow up questions or unsatisfactory answers I encourage to resubmit more specific questions. I have no control over either questions nor answers.

In this particular case I guess you're asking whether AM is invested in Allied Control or owns their technology. To my latest knowledge Allied Control is an independent entity with no profit sharing mechanism with AM, other than AM retaining profit rights on the mining chips. As such, bundled products sold by Allied Control (container+hashing tech) will both create a revenue stream for Allied Control and AM.

I hope that answers the question somewhat.

I guess I want to know if there are any plans with Allied Control to bundle products.

Really just some clarification on the second part of the question.
How does ASICMiner/shareholders profit from it?

Can someone give an overview of what comes up in the video for non-chinese speakers?

Does asicminer own any part of the immersion cooling tech or are they just a client that's using it?
206  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 19, 2014, 12:11:33 AM
Whatever, that was a fun little hypothetical. That problem is the past, I'll repeat the question I asked that you all shoudl be asking, how much money has gone into the data centre? Why aren't you guys asking that question every day?

People are asking for it in the form of the financial reports. But ken keeps putting it off and saying he has/will get someone else to do it
207  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: April 17, 2014, 11:42:04 PM

I am planning on doing the verification process sooner.  There are are number of events which are affecting the process.

Can you elaborate in what exactly is affecting the process? You've told us before that the verification site is completed and you just needed to upload it. So what's the issue?
208  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 17, 2014, 05:47:09 AM
I want my shares trading as much as the next guy, but a lot of you do not understand the legal ramifications of this shit. If the MSD is still actively investigating ActiveMining, Ken is protecting himself, the company, and us from a lot of trouble by leaving it as-is and letting the lawyers figure it out. This is a brand new industry in a legal gray area, you can't treat it like a blue chip investment, and that's precisely the argument his lawyers are likely making right now.

You all need to wake up to reality and be patient. It's very clearly not a scam. Inconvenient and beyond schedule to the point of almost incompetence, sure, but just chill the fuck out. It will happen when it happens.

If that's the case then keen shouldn't tell us that he would get the shares up last week.

And it wouldn't make much sense to have some shares trading if he wasn't sure if he is legally allowed to.

At the very least he should let us verify or shares so he can be ready to pay dividends and make sure it's all in order.
209  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 17, 2014, 01:56:09 AM
Regarding the legality of trading shares the options are either:

1) it's not legal to trade on these exchange. In which case you should've stopped all trading long ago

2) it is legal to trade in these exchange. In which case you should've put our shares up long ago

3) youre unsure of the legality of trading in these exchanges. In which case if you were playing it safe you should have stopped all trading long ago. Or you prefer to make your share holders happy in which case all shares should have been put up long ago

There no situation where it makes sense to trade some shares but not others.

I honestly don't believe you are able to confirm or holdings either because you're missing data or you're just outright incompetent. If you can confirm our holdings put up this validation website and let us validate our holdings, just to make sure you can.
210  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Post your censored concerns from the moderated ActiveMining threa on: April 17, 2014, 01:05:29 AM
Ken's incompetence is absolutely astounding

I got a bunch of comments deleted, because I said that "We have a right to know and see the hardware, since we own shares in the company".

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of comments get deleted for seemingly no real reason.
211  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 17, 2014, 12:55:49 AM

Yes, we are getting an accountant to working on our books, now that tax season is over.

When are you expecting them to be ready? and can you adddress the rest of those questions?

Weekly Update 4/16/2014

MSD Investigation:  I will be talking with our legal council as to what action I can take with the shares in the next few weeks.  I know everyone is ready to start trading; however, I am in a difficult position at the moment.  I am working on solutions to this problem.  Long term for shareholders, I think CC is the answer.

Can you address why you said it would be ready this week if you're lawyer hadn't said it was ok yet? If you can't do it yet, stop telling us you can do it. If there's some uncertainty about the law that's not allowing you to trade shares on these websites then why are you allowing the shares that are already on there to trade?

At the very least you should let us confirm our holdings with you. Not necessarily put it on a exchange, just let us make sure it's ok. Then you'll also be setup to start paying dividends direct to addresses.

Can you tell us what's happening with our chips? Our we still working on our own? What's the progress with them?

What happened to the financial reports? You said you have someone else working on it. Are they still working on it? When do you expect them to be ready?
213  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 16, 2014, 04:26:56 PM
Has Ken said why he thinks cryptotrade is less likely to shutdown than havelock?
214  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 15, 2014, 11:27:49 AM
These created crises are really getting tiresome. So you are going to court over the shares now? Yeah let's threaten the CEO with court - way to go!! Roll Eyes

The CEO is out east setting up a data centre to make you money. Why don't some of you try setting up a data centre of the size we are and see how much spare time it leaves you. You don't think things can crop up? Please get a hobby you people.

If he can't get the shares sorted out because he's busy setting up the data centre then why not say "can't do share this week because I'm setting up the data centre"

The problem isn't just that he isn't doing it. It's that he's saying it's his top priority and then not doing it.
215  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 15, 2014, 10:38:58 AM
So Kens profile says that he was last online Today at 03:10:32 AM.

Since he was here why not tell us what went wrong with getting the share transfer up and running. Any sort of explanation would be nice. If he was busy with other things, then he should tell us what unexpected thing happened that he had to tend to. But repeatedly telling us he's going to do something, and then just not doing it makes him look like a fool.
216  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 14, 2014, 05:55:58 AM
Arguing about which exchange is kind of pointless if ken just keeps putting off working on it.
217  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 14, 2014, 02:37:38 AM
So can we get an update on why another self imposed deadline was missed? What went wrong? What unexpected delay occured?
218  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 14, 2014, 12:23:43 AM
Why does Ken think havelock is more likely to shut down than crypto-trade? What makes crypto-trade safer?
219  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: April 09, 2014, 03:57:01 PM

The FIAT paid by customers has been put into a pot to actually pay for the equipment they will be getting (I know that might sound strange to you!) and for future mining hardware development. So this FIAT has been assigned and is being utilized to run the company.

And that's what i would expect should happened to it. But it would be nice to hear Ken say it rather than make guesses. And it would be nicer if he answered questions properly instead of blaming MtGox when MtGox wasn't even relevant to the question.
220  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: April 09, 2014, 03:34:18 PM
Were the orders paid for in fiat converted to bitcoin and left on mtgox or not?
It's very very VERY simple to understand. Do you really not get it yet?
That's what i think. So explain to me where i'm incorrect:

1. customer pays in fiat.

2. Customer requests refund in fiat.

Where does mtgox come in to this. MtGox has nothing to do with this. The user asked about refunds from fiat purchases, Ken is the one who brought up MtGox as the reason for not giving the refund.
