Unfortunately, I disagree with you, because according to technical analysis Bitcoin could not recover until the end of this year. Furthermore it will drop to $3000 , may be even lower.

Personally I think that initially the drop in the price of bitcoin was caused by the manipulation of whales, aimed at an artificially lower price. However, in the future, with about $ 9,000, the decline was supported by market participants, who are guided by the fear of loss.

Yes, I think bitcoin can crash to $1200 in 2018. There are manipulations, trying of regulations by the governments, fears of the market participants in this year. These factors negatively effect to the price. That's why if you have any asset now, just hold it, and next year you will get your profit.

Personally I think that technical analysis can help you to identify reversal levels and date of it. if you use it together with fundamental analysis you will have confirmation of trend reversal according to any strong news.
