201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you will do? on: March 27, 2018, 07:46:57 PM
When the market down, your account is reduced to 2-3 times. what will you do? You still hold to die or sell to catch the bottom deeper? Please give me advice. Thank you.

I hold, seriously! it's kinda dangerous to sell and try to catch the bottom, no one can accurately tell/know the bottom. i buy more when prices are going down and watch the market like every 5 minutes lol. it's better you hold and sell(if you want to/have to) when the price starts moving up.
202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges and costs, spreads on: March 27, 2018, 06:51:58 PM
i think you should do something called 'research' before spouting this nonsense.
from where you could say something like this ?
Quote
Kucoin withdrawal fee is 10% and cryptopia 1%
please do some research before doing something like this,here you go ;

withdrawal fees on Kucoin : https://news.kucoin.com/en/fee/
and cryptopia fee : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2867582.0

every exchanges set 0.001BTC~0.0005BTC(the majority) as their fees.
in some case you will see an exchange that set a higher than that like coinsmarkets.com(scam) which was charging 0.002BTC as their fees.
Yes, exactly exchanges charge a fixed withdrawal fee, i have never seen or known an exchange that charges % on withdrawal amount. maybe op is confused or did the math wrong?

You can find a list of exchanges(most known/reputable) and their withdrawal fees here(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2991183.0).
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase is expensive. How much exchange fees is OK? on: March 27, 2018, 04:56:47 PM
Usually, 0.1% is the decent amount of fee you should find, look at binance
Binance has the lowest trading fee, it effectively comes down to 0.05% if BNB is used/enabled as fee deduction source.

In my opinion, we should try to accomplish a 0% fee and only pay miner fees or whatever else would be absolute required. There exists the possibility of decentralized exchanges, and through a decentralized exchange it would make sense that 0% fees would be a regular occurrence. This would be my preference moving forward, I do not think that the crypto world needs more unregulated centralized exchanged that do as they please. They frequently get hacked, disappear, hold deposits and withdrawals; the list of problems with exchanges aside from the exchange rate is long. I would like to see more companies pushing in the direction of open-source decentralized exchanges as the norm.
Yes using decentralized exchanges, is a good solution for avoiding exchange fees. But it has a problem also. sometimes don't work properly and these are only in eth platform. But it is sure that all decentralized will be more developed and also be more popular in recent future I think.
Decentralized exchanges aren't perfect now, but in few years we'll all be using a fully functional rich featured dex. atomic swap is also is a thing, we would be able to exchange tokens/currencies between blockchains, exciting things are ahead for us. Wink
204  Economy / Gambling / Re: (BETA) DICE GAME !! 0.5% !! HOUSE EDGE - FREE FAUCET - LOOKING FOR TESTERS on: March 27, 2018, 02:48:13 PM
So the BETA phase is over already?
Just tried with faucet and so shocked to know there is no limit to claim the faucet, I could claim the faucet as long as my balance is 0. I claimed it 10x consecutively, is this real that there is no limit? I think you should give a limit on it, otherwise many people will try to abuse it.

Yes that is correct. We have so much competition and are seriously late to the party, so we need to make some bold moves to attract players!
You have to run promotions/tournaments/advertisements to attract players, faucet won't bring you quality players. Roll Eyes

Played for a while on your site(i turned 100 sat into 5k then lost all lol), animation is smooth, design is okay. i wish you good luck!

Yes, stake has affiliate program. you can find more information on affiliate program here (https://affiliate.stake.com).

Is Online Gambling Legal If Bitcoins, Not Dollars, Are At Stake?

It depends on your locality/country, if online gambling is illegal in your country then bitcoin gambling might as well be illegal.

Theoretically what you say above could happen.  Although with all the promotions we have run using this format we have yet to see anything even close to a 1000%. Most 1st place finishers generally come in around 130% range.

That is why there is minimum betting requirements of 150 rounds and 0.05 BTC wagered. So a player can not play just 1 round and have a sky high winning percentage.

Actually your requirements is not so effective, whales who are interested with the prize can easily win this because they can just made 1 bet with a bit higher multiplier (lets say bet 0.05 with 3x multipler). If they win it = 200% winning percentage (if my math is not that bad), then will only need to make the other 149 bets with the minimum bet amount. I'm sure whales wont be afraid to risk 0.05btc for 1.2btc Smiley

If the math is right then that would be the best way to win this tournament. It would be much better in the end to not join and just wait for the leaderboard in the last 3 days. If it is worth it to consider this strategy then Im sure someone would use it to win. Smart people is going to win this tournament not the lucky guy unfortunately

my friend tried this method last year. minimum wager requirements was .03BTC, ended up losing .12BTC 'cause he didnt win on the first try. so you also need luck. lucky and smart would win this tournament.

Indeed you need to have some luck because it is a game of probability which means having better probability will ensure you to get the first rank. As of now this might be the best chance to win the tournament. The probability on the first try however stays the same or probably someone could cheat by having multiple account? Im not sure about this
It's all luck what we need to win it. Grin creating multiple account and cheating is possible, however it won't be feasible as one has to reach this minimum requirement to be eligible and i'm sure victor can catch cheaters with different techniques and ban them.

I've been playing dice on FJ for some time and I've notices that there are 100 Fortune Jack Coins on my balance. I've made 164 out of them so far and I'm wondering what are those coins for? Are they only there for testing purposes or you can exchange them somehow to other coins? Probably not, but what is the purpose of the FJC JackPot then?

Anyway, I love to play dice on FJ. It's super fast.

Like lite said FJC is only for testing the game, instead of making faucet they are using this kind of thing to let people test the site so there is no way people can abuse it as well. They also do not ban anyone from keep on playing using thi FJC so both side will get the benefit as well. And of course it will drive our desire to not losing more money as well

FJ provide a faucet money also but only for playing dice game means with that small 500+ Santoshi you can make a real money. But I never heard that they blocked an account just for people making money from this faucet money. But for other slot games, we need to use play money to try games.

Is it that high for their faucet? As far as I know there is only around 100 FJC which is like faucet but of course it can't be withdrawn. Btw are they still having those faucet for dice games? As far as I know they are only having FJC and that they do not have like 500 sat per claim

And about the blocked account, yes I never heard about they blocked any account but they can't take their withdrawal because of players abuse some rules

[....]

If I'm not wrong, FJ will give a flat 523 sats for everyone and they don't differentiate with a level system for dice faucet money.

[....]
Yeah, as long as account balance is 0 on every currencies one can claim from faucet. anyways FJC is much better to try out the games at FJ, one could play/try for very long period of time. Wink

I tried to sign up, gave my email and username after submitting the form i get this error "this site can't be reached". am i in or should i wait for a fix and try signing up again?

There is a term saying that "In order for the tournament to be official, there must be a minimum of 20 participants."

Currently, how many people signed up for this competition?

I'm waiting on Victor to give us an update on this. Smiley

Give it a try and let me know if you are still having an issue.
Well, i just signed up and everything is working good. thanks! i hope i win something nice in this tournament. Smiley

The text you see on the leaderboard currently is just placement text.  Once we get the first pull of tournament data the leader board will be updated.

Here is how win % is calculated - (Win % is calculated (win amount/ bet amount))
How often will leaderboard be update?
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: Add DICE to your website on: March 26, 2018, 07:14:31 AM
Can it work on any website or only website that accepts cryptocurrency? What can i do to make it work on my website that does not accept payment?
Afaik for now it's going to work only on site where people can deposit/withdraw, though you can contact op he might be able to help you set things up? or wait for white label solution. Cheesy

where is your admin and user panel?
Doesn't looks like op is going to answer any of your questions, he was last active 3 months ago here, email him/her. try not to bump old threads, instead PM/email the person(if he's active you'll get a reply) for any sale related question.
211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Add DICE to your website on: March 25, 2018, 07:15:41 PM
Is there a list so far of websites that have already used/or currently using your service?
I'm interested to see it out on a real usage basis rather than on the demo and also to have their feedbacks.

Would you mind to share it with us? Thank you! and btw this is a cool idea. This reminds me of Yobit Exchange dice game. (Exchange with a gambling game)

I am thinking this would work best on a website like the BTC Reddit or some kind of mining pool.

People get payouts in BTC and there is also an option for them to gamble their mined earnings.

I think it would get a lot of use that way.

Since most pool payouts are small, even if they lost their entire days mining payout the loss wouldn't be too bad.
This could also work well with faucet sites, people who claim faucets get to double or triple(or get nothing Roll Eyes) their faucet claims.

Op i think you should also create a thread in service announcement section.

Stake should include a self exclusion option for various periods of time like for a couple of hours / days, will help people a lot.

Are you for real suggesting this? You can actually stop playing and choose to do so. If you really want to stop then atleast do it by yourself. The site will always be here to make some money and some people will keep on playing either to get some money or to be entertained. All it takes for you will be to stop playing in your own accordance
The issue is that whenever I try to stop gambling, stunna comes up with something new and something brilliant, eye catching with a great community and I keep on try that casino to gain out some profits. Now he's coming up with sports and poker, zi just cannot imagine how hit will primedice/stake poker will be.
Have you ever tried using any gambling site blocking software/plugin? as stunna said you could ask stake support to ban your account for a period of time or could use gambling site blocking plugin. i personally think if you want to stop playing for a while, it should be your decision.

Yeah I know we could pull off poker I'm actually really shocked with the sudden massive growth for stake. After launching it I wondered if maybe we had wasted our time and it wasn't what people wanted. However, we committed more effort towards building around what our players suggested instead of our personal ideas and it has really paid off.

it's really a matter of how we want to do it. If we want to just put standard software up we can get it up super quickly. We put a dent into our own custom version but getting this stuff 100% done with the specs we want is pretty time consuming. Sports will be released before poker but poker is a personal interest of mine so I'm definitely pushing for it. Drop any suggestions you have for the specs on it and we'll keep it in mind.
Sports betting is more popular than poker i guess, so launching/working on it first is really a good decision.

Anyone having any positive or negative review of the site? Can someone verify if the withdrawals are working or not? Been quite some time since the site is launched, any accusations against the site?
I have never deposited/played here(only played in demo mode), site looks good though. it seems there's no review of this site, guess you have to explore it all by yourself(try it with very small deposit) or play at known sites, good luck!

Yeah, FJC is used only to test the games out, it can't be exchanged for real money/coins. Cheesy i think FJC jackpot on dice or on other games serves the same purpose to test/try to win jackpot by people who are obsessed with strategies/bots/script before trying their "strategy" (that might've worked with FJC)with real coins.  Roll Eyes

Great to hear you guys are heading in the right direction again. Are you still enabling users to invest into the house?

Good luck.

I don't be so sure about going to invest there, if I am not mistaken they have some issue about being part of the players and eat up around 300 btc from the balance by playing slots. Many of them accused them for being not honest yet it can't be proved too so take some precautious not to invest on their bankroll if I were you. But for their game, I think it is pretty fair enough
They no more have investment option and probably won't have in future.. i feel like they've abandoned this project/site and moved on to something else! anyways there are plenty of other gambling sites that one can invest in or invest in some promising altcoin. Cheesy
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at 2600$, is it possible !!!! on: March 23, 2018, 08:06:01 AM
what we'v seen in the first 3 month of 2018 are huge different from what we'v been expected to see in 2018
so with the last huge movement of bitcoin price what do you think ,
is it possible to see 2600$ again ??
No, $2600 is highly unlikely. if we see some major bans or strict regulations then price might fall that low, but atm everything seems to be good, there's a lot of support for bitcoin or crypto in general. we will go up!!
218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hw i can open my binance account loosing my autheticator codes? on: March 23, 2018, 05:55:18 AM
I think people should use authy instead of google authenticator, i've been using authy for a very long time, my 2fa keys are backed up automatically. it's safe and easy. Wink
Isn't Authy hosted online? Personally, I would prefer a self-hosted/offline option than an online just like I prefer KeePass to Lastpass for my passwords.

I'm using andOTP. They let you backup (and encrypt the file) with a password or PGP key.
They only use cloud to store encrypted backups. no one can restore backups/2fa keys on new device without knowing the password.
219  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinMillions: Is it Still Active? on: March 23, 2018, 05:21:58 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm very new to Bitcoin gambling, and I'm looking for casinos where I can try out without shelling out too much money.

In the midst of my Google searching, I found this site called CoinMillions. It looks nice, and I want to sign up.

It said I can only sign in via MoneyPot, so I created an account via MoneyPot. But when I clicked Sign in via MoneyPot, I got redirected to a page saying "App Not Found."

Does anyone else encounter this problem? I tried emailing the website and even MoneyPot, but I haven't gotten any reply yet.
Yeah, i see the same error when tried to open coinmillions. i think you can only open/play games which are listed here(https://www.moneypot.com/apps). you should give other gambling site a try like stake, fortunejack, primedice,c-g etc..
220  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: hw i can open my binance account loosing my autheticator codes? on: March 22, 2018, 07:55:46 PM
what can i do to open my account how can i retrieve my  codes..i need some advice..
Always save the important ones on your data base if you have one like notepad list etc. Your problem is quite troublesome regarding to your forgotten designated codes provided by 2FA GOOGLE. Just for the record no can retrieve the forgotten codes of your 2FA.
I think people should use authy instead of google authenticator, i've been using authy for a very long time, my 2fa keys are backed up automatically. it's safe and easy. op next time make sure you install and use authy as your 2fa app. Wink
