Am I supposed to have a conf file for the linux wallet? It's showing that I have 0 active connections. UPnP is enabled, in case that matters.

This price seems like a good entree point. Any predictions where this will be in 1-2 months? And don't say "the moon!" lol That saying is so over used.
I think it could take monero's spot in market cap. Right now monero is worth double, but it has 2.5x the total coins that keycoin has. There are also some huge hurdles for monero to get past, like the blockchain taking up gigs of RAM while it's running and no functional GUI. So basically KEY can definitely reach >$4 each before it seems reasonably priced.

I saw someone mention that the new wallet will be released tomorrow, but I also heard it should be expected some time next week. Can anyone confirm?
Yes tomorrow night will be an updated wallet release that has both XChat and Private Transactions. Next week will be the updated TOR_STICK Image release Dan Awesome, thanks.

Hey guys, just got some keycoin a few mins ago. Seems pretty solid. Waiting for btc to transfer so I can grab some more.
Key seems way undervalued considering that less than a million of them exist!

Please leave with dignity.
Seriously, that kinda hurts. Shock horror, your a "newbie" whats your real ID? yetiripper Yes this is a noob account too, but you know me: Hey mate, I like your posts in DRK, maybe we should just start reposting the "questions" from the DRK trolls in the XC thread straight back into the DRK thread as valid queries lol

Looks veri bad. New wallet with fiat is out and price is still nosediving. I have less patience every day for vericoin and feel sorry for ppl who bought at 40+ cause it looks like we will never see nothing even near that price again.
If you think the price will keep dropping, just sell and take advantage of that instead of complaining on a forum about it. Or hold, maybe the price will skyrocket as soon as you look away!

It looks like I didn't make a big mistake selling at 240k now because I'm re-buying lower. I started to like XC a lot and the work that is being done. It is normal that a correction occurs after a 300 % pump in a few days. If the developers just keep on delivering, the massive dumps can't stop this coin from getting a larger market cap. Good luck to you all!
Typo? It's at 256k now, you sold at 240k and it's not a mistake? hmm... What kind of numbers it is? Really, I don't what is that 240k 240,000 satoshi, or .0024 BTC

Anonymous real too much
1) Xnodes are fully decentralised Any wallet can run as an Xnode, not just a few semi-centralised clients Xnode setup is not complicated or time-consuming 2) Xnodes are a trustless design An earlier iteration of XC's design specified a dynamic trust system; this has been improved upon with a fully trustless design Rev 2 Xnodes will use trustless multi-path multisig 3) Xnodes work Early tests of Xnodes' mixing function (Rev. 1) have not resulted in any kind of flaw in this aspect of XC's anonymity solution. Our not-so-well-intentioned friend Chaeplin claimed to have found a "design flaw" in Rev 1. However he fails to apprehend (a) precisely what was being tested, (b) what would constitute XC failing the test, and (c) what his results actually show. For a summary, see https://www.google.com/url?q=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Ftopic%3D630547.msg7310485Tests of Xnodes' initial multipath implementation (Rev. 1.5) have turned up no problems. In fact, no one was even able to mount a claim for the bounty. Multi-path is being fully implemented as we speak for Rev. 2. When it is released, there will be (a) a sizeable public bounty, and (b) consultations with several cryptographers and other experts. Given past progress, we're pretty optimistic that Rev. 2 will be delivered on time, and will compound the anonymity that is already working in XC. 4) XC is already anonymous, and working I can't stress this enough. It's working! It doesn't mysteriously fork. It was released on time. There have been no setbacks. XC is only 5 weeks old, and we're already at this level. XC is not a completed design. It anonymity will compound. Its user-friendliness will become a 1-click thing. Thorough, professional testing will render it bulletproof. See the roadmap: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg7535822#msg7535822. Xnodes do not steal coins. But for the sake of historical accuracy, here's where this rumour started: Rev. 1 was released to test whether anyone could prove that a link exists on the blockchain between sender and receiver. Chaeplin misconstrued the purpose of the release and harped on about the fact that because mixers forward coins, coins could be stolen. This is true, but it's besides the point. All we were testing was whether anyone could provide a link on the blockchain. The rest of the build, including vulnerable transaction-forwarding, was just scaffolding so that the tests could be carried out. But, alas, Chaeplin appeared not to be amenable to realising this fact. Perhaps if his intention was to contribute constructively he would have avoided this lapse of comprehension. Can you find another anonymous like XC?XC is first Xnodes Are you implying that that was a coherent post?

So, looks like I'll have to download entire blockchain, as I do not want to change my system. If that does not works, will have to move to other coin that is not that buggy.
Are you having any issues the way you have it now? If not, then you don't necessarily need to switch.

Any ideas how long it takes me to withdraw my BTC from mintpal to bittrex? It says "pending withdrawals" ? I don't have any confirmation emails from them either
You didn't get a confirmation e-mail from mintpal?

I've been trying to register at the official forum since the forum opened, but I'm still yet to be approved. I just re-registered, so can someone let me in?

Can someone please remind me of the daemon console command that shows the debug info (what block height it's on).
I don't remember but if you type "help" into the console it should say.
