You are right but we have seen many projects that have gained massive hype and fomo without any marketing or promotions whatsoever, so there are many factors i guess that influence the popularity of a project but i agree marketing is necessary to project and present a startup to masses.

It's actually the probability of getting paid versus the money you will earn and IMO, it doesn't matter if hunters will earn less as long as the payment is guaranteed and popular coin that is already listed in exchange would be a good reward as it gives assurance it will be traded with a value.
That's the ideal condition for bounty campaign participants but there are two problems, first, not all projects have sufficient funds to finance the bounty campaign and secondly there is no standardization for bounty campaign payments in this forum, if the forum community rejects bounty campaigns with payments using their tokens on this forum I am sure that slowly new projects will start paying participants in bounty campaigns with Bitcoin or Ether. |

I really and totally agree with what you just said! I participated in a bounty around August 2018 and we were paid weekly but uptill now the coin remain a scam coin. I prefer to participate in a bounty that last very long but at the end I benefit from it as I have do from bounty in the past. However I see all this as luck becouse some of the project we thought are genuine are scam and most time it is at the end of the campaign that we discover this.
I prefer to get paid even though the price of the token dropped dramatically or did not enter the exchange market, than I did not receive the payment, while the token from the project that cheated me turned out to have a high price on the exchange. |

If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations
