Just found our 8th block after 2 days of unlucky mining. Now is a good time to hop in!

I'm running a 102.4% PPS Bitcore pool. Payouts are done hourly with customizable thresholds, and as it's PPS, there is no waiting for blocks or confirmations! PM me for details. A new thread will be made for this, and linked here. Current pool servers (sharing stats from each other): In the EU: http://fairpool.eu and in the US: http://elitehash.net + http://haven.minersport.usAs the biggest Bitcore pool (bitcorepool.cc) has grown to over 33% of the network hashrate, we really need to make it less centralized. I encourage everyone to join my pool at http://psychedelic.fi, where the fees are as low as possible. Currently this is 0%, but if it gets bigger I won't be paying the transaction fees myself forever, so it might have to be raised to 0.1% at some point. If bitcorepool.cc is the go-to pool today, and UMine is for those who don't want to pay fees, then my pool is for those who REALLY don't want to pay fees and don't mind a bit of variance.
EDIT: Pool isn't zero fee anymore, and most of the hashrate is missing. Difficulty got too high and bitcorepool.cc is still going strong :/

Is this the only problem for me? For more than 12 hours I can not withdraw my coins from Cryptopia. Cryptopia also wants to hang up a label for "scammers"? https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Newssame issue here. I have a big withdraw with status "Processing" for more than 12hrs. (confirmed email.. 6/01/2018 10:51:00 PM ). Ticket hasnt been answered yet. Strange thing is that i made a small withdraw today, and it went thru in 2 minutes. It's a shame that there is no guarantee that the coins will come in the next few days. People have unconfirmed transactions for 4-5 days. i said many times ,if you want to get airdrop ,withdrawl the coins as early as possible ,the best way is not sell your coins ,hold for the long term . Its not a matter of time.. it depends on the amount. My 200 BTXs withdrawal got stuck friday. I made another one on saturday (4 BTX) and it went thru in minutes. I lost my share of the airdrop. Glad to make it last longer Craptopia is probably claiming the %5 on YOUR coins. Sounds almost like HitBTC. I recommend you use Bit-Z, if the verification process doesn't scare you. My BTX withdraws have been instant (<30sec) every time.

2 blocks found today @ http://psychedelic.fiThe 0% fee isn't going anywhere. Might need to adjust that to 0.1% if the wallet ever runs ouf the initial coins I sent there to pay tx fees.

4th block just found at http://psychedelic.fi, come hop us! you can see the hashrate dropped for a while, the pool crashed but now it's properly running in a loop. Of course you should always have backup pools.

My mining pool at http://psychedelic.fi is running at 0% fee and we have found two blocks so far. Hashrate is now at a staggering 0.2 GH/s. If you aren't afraid of variance, try it out! But I'll be honest, the problem with proportional payout method is that mining at the beginning of a round is the most profitable, and joining in the middle of a long round is less profitable. That's what pool hoppers exploit. So there really is no sense to join my pool now, but I'll encourage people to do some manual hopping by mentioning it here when the third block is finally found. Then it really is optimal to mine at my pool! (At least until the round is at 43% or around there, I can't remember the exact number from organofcorti's research). It took writing this post to finally end this long round. Now it's a good moment to join at the beginning of round #4

Is there a list of pools somewhere? I would like to get my pool added, it's 0% fee currently
|
|

just a bump for the newcomers can you add bsod.pw to the pool list, thx I would like my pool psychedelic.fi to also be added. I will put the fee to 0% until steady block rate is achieved, and promise to keep it lowest in market or shut down. I have enough holdings to run this non-profit

Could you give a link to MPOS pool sources? Is it still being maintained?

What's the recommended pool software to use for solo mining nowadays? In the past I used eloipool, but it seems to have been abandoned. ckpool from the maker of cgminer seemed very promising, but altcoins are not officially supported. Knowing ckolivas, I believe that just means he doesn't want to answer the endless stream of questions regarding altcoins, not that the pool would somehow be inherently incompatible with altcoins. I'm currently trying to mine Bitcore. With eloipool, I get this error in a loop when the pool manages to connect to bitcored RPC: 2017-12-25 12:50:36,847 merkleMaker WARNING Template from 'primary' loosely requires unsupported rule 'testdummy' 2017-12-25 12:50:36,852 merkleMaker CRITICAL Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 793, in run self.merkleMaker_I() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 783, in merkleMaker_I self.merkleMaker_II() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 749, in merkleMaker_II return self._updateMerkleTree() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 649, in _updateMerkleTree self._updateMerkleTree_I() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 637, in _updateMerkleTree_I FirstTemplate = not hasattr(self.curClearMerkleTree, 'MP') AttributeError: 'merkleMaker' object has no attribute 'curClearMerkleTree'
And with ckpool there are no errors on the pool side, work is being generated but all shares get rejected.

Could anyone help me get ckpool ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=790323.0) running with Bitcore? Seems to be the best pool software out there, but ckolivas doesn't want to support altcoins. I got the pool up and running, and connected to bitcored, but all the shares get rejected. There's no setting for network ID in the pool, which is a setting I remember from eloipool. It's just a short random ID for each coin. Could it be as easy as fixing that ID somewhere to get Bitcore & ckpool play along? I tried eloipool too: 2017-12-25 12:16:52,001 merkleMaker WARNING Template from 'primary' loosely requires unsupported rule 'testdummy' 2017-12-25 12:16:52,005 merkleMaker CRITICAL Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 793, in run self.merkleMaker_I() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 783, in merkleMaker_I self.merkleMaker_II() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 749, in merkleMaker_II return self._updateMerkleTree() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 649, in _updateMerkleTree self._updateMerkleTree_I() File "/home/bunnyh/Projects/eloipool/merklemaker.py", line 637, in _updateMerkleTree_I FirstTemplate = not hasattr(self.curClearMerkleTree, 'MP') AttributeError: 'merkleMaker' object has no attribute 'curClearMerkleTree'

Are all pools seriously using the proportional payout method? I wonder where all the hoppers are...

I'm really looking forward to the day this BTX issue gets fixed. You can't continue cheating forever...

What's the status with Bitcore SegWit support? I haven't tried it with Bitcoin yet, software support isn't very great there either. SegWit has always been advertised on the thread title here, but does it just mean that SegWit would be supported in theory if someone bothered to make compatible wallets?

Thank you for ceap coins Set an order 5 hours ago, an order that I thought was too low, but I was wrong when I came home and cheeck 0.0029 was to high!!!! I have to take it as a man. Now please, fast transfer to the wallet for airdrops. HitBTC have very long transferring time out, anyone experience that? Peace. I am very mad with HIT, its taking hours to get my transfer and I might miss the air drop if it hasn't happened already. We need an official countdown/website. I wonder who dumped SO MANY BTX, I got a lot also but stuck on stupid HIT exchange. I do not recommend buying from their, only sell. I already missed the airdrop. It's more than half a day and HitBTC still haven't managed to process my withdrawal. I wonder what happened! Requested a support ticket. Got a reply saying that they are getting around to it. That was 5 hours ago. Sigh... Same thing happened to me, my withdrawal was stuck for 10+ hours. I made a support ticket too, and got the initial response. The withdrawal then finally cleared without further response from support, just 10 minutes after the airdrop. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they weren't doing this intentionally and the suspicious timing happened because their hot walled got refilled enough by the airdrop to facilitate the withdrawal automatically.

It's actually 0.002 now. That's the highest I've seen on any exchange. I haven't tried withdrawing yet, but I bet they are pooling the withdraws too for maximum profit. Should be at least instant with such a fee.

What does 12 PM actually mean? There are still a few blocks to go until 492820

I joined the airdrop. But making it a requirement to post here is against forum rules, isn't it?

Would it be possible to get the fee compensation back from BTC era? I'm not sure what would be a fair amount, but I remember being something like 30 BTC in the black when I divested and forgot about the site for years. I'm thinking about giving this another go.
*whispers* Black means you were due to pay fees... I think you mean red. Red= Negative Black= Even Green= Profit Thanks for the correction, didn't remember it was even possible to end up with a debt. I wonder how many actually paid those. Not debt, but you could have been 30 BTC in the negative... meaning you wouldn't pay dooglus commission until those 30 BTC were earned back. I don't understand what you're asking for. What is fee compensation? My investment was around 30 BTC negative (and I had paid commissions too for profit up to 30 BTC, can't remember exactly) when I divested. So I had plenty of room for commission-free investment. But then the currency was changed and now I have to start over again . I remember people were even buying/selling accounts that were in the negative for feeless investing back in the days. I thought my account had some value that way, but looks like it was wiped out. I have the same username on just-dice & here. The account hadn't gone anywhere, only the stats.
