OP, I'll say no. Gambling cannot be a source of income for a live hood living and taking care of family. Instead, it should be an alternate source of having extra money that would support us when times are rough, or things get messy. People take advantage of the fact that they get to win more often in gambling, so they decide to take it as a full-time paying job which is a bad idea. In gambling there is nothing like allowances, monthly income, and promotion. But in our individual places we work, we get to have promotions sometimes, and there is certainly of monthly income. So why would someone choose to make something that the outcomes are not certain (base on luck) to be a major source of income.

Whenever i hear people say they gamble for entertainment i found it hard to believe them. If they want entertainment in gamble, then they can visit live casinos which are not online and gamble over there. Right there the fun is realistic and the excitement it brings is true. When it comes to online gambling, i don't see any form of entertainment there, the sole aim of people gambling online is for them to make wins and take there profits. It's hard to say what Arsenal lacked this time, they were good, they even took the lead several times, but the last match they lost to Aston Villa (before the Bayern match) was perhaps the defeat, that changed everything for Arsenal.
Nothing to say about Arsenal, Both Man City & Arsenal won equal number of matches, so the luckiest one won the title. I wanna say something about Aston Villa, it is a team that had the potential to actually compete very closely for the English Premier League title at one point in this season. But they had fallen off a lot towards the later part of the season. The ending was also not good from them. They had only one win in the last five matches that they have played in this season. They were able to finish in the fourth position, but that was dangerously close to Tottenham, they were only two points ahead of Tottenham. But my question is, was that expected? Since they do not have that high level of depth in the squad? They will be playing in the Champions League competition next season. How are they going to perform in the Champions League competition? And how are they going to perform in the English Premier League? Will they be able to replicate the good performance that they have shown in this season? Arsenal had played well last season. Just that they had failed to win Aston Villa twice the times they met. I just hope next season would be different for them. If they have the opportunity to get a professional striker that can score up to 30 goals personally in a season, then am very certain that they will the league. Last season i enjoyed every bit of their performance even if they failed to win at the end, they were worth the time and attention. If am to comment on Manchester City, then i would say they should watch there back so closely. Lots of team will be very aggressive against them, and this may make them not to win the league. There might be slight hope for them since everybody in the team is fully active and Pep still remains their coach. |

Yes, it is one good way to trap most gamblers. Not every gambler can be able to control themselves whenever they loss in a game. They believe they can still recover their money back and get a little profit. Of course, some are lucky to get their money back but i still believe only few are that lucky, most of the still end up losing everything along the line. That's correct. The hate of defeat.
Ego, pride, or whatever it is called, it is because we want to go home as a winner and not as a loser. Even if it's just for a small amount, it's still a win.
Mentally, we tell ourselves that we will stop once we hit the amount that we lost but the truth is we cannot follow our own decision and we just keep on pressing that bet button until everything is gone. And that's the only time we are able to stop because we cannot bet anymore.
That's why I have been telling on other threads how it's easy to say to not chase the losses but it's so difficult to do. It's not like we want to end up going home thinking about our losses while we can still fight with the spare amount that we have. It requires hard discipline.

The world is changing very fast, and development have increased significantly, it is only those who adapts or sync into these changes would progress. The traditional employment system has failed so many people and the young ones just like you have said has noticed this from an earlier stage. Rich people really do not know how to spend their money, I mean why would you want to buy something like this? I get that it's bitcoin history, but it is not even that much of a big history of bitcoin at all. In fact, I would say that buying this for a million dollars is a bigger history of bitcoin then the paper itself, doesn't really make sense to me that it would be something this big and I would say anything more than one bitcoin is way too much for this.
I am not saying that I would pay that much, I know that it won't and the resell value of this is nothing, I am just saying even if I had billions, the most I would pay for this would be just one bitcoin and nothing more than that, it doesn't really make sense otherwise.

Yes, actually Dortmund were able to perform well and in the first half they were able to keep Madrid's game locked in, but Real Madrid has another advantage, namely the mentality of their players is not easily shaken. In the second half Kroos and his friends tried to combine the rhythm of the game so that they were able to escape the pressure and managed to score a goal. I quite enjoyed the game between the two teams because previously I thought Los Blancos would be able to dominate throughout the match.
Watching Real Madrid vs Borrusia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League final was entertaining because both sides did their best and we only have one winner and that's where Los Blancos fall in. Dortmund defeats was understandable because Real Madrid came prepared and absorbed all pressure exerted on them, this is what we're talking about, an elite club that's competent in all sectors and not in fixed positions. Borussia Dortmund had all the chances to thrashed Real Madrid 3 nil in the first half but what did they do with it? They missed out on the big chances when it comes to goals and this is really out of plans but total frustration on Dortmund. Edin Terzic tried but he's no match for Carlo Ancelotti. What really happened in the first half of the game made me conclude that Dortmund would win the game. Imagine the several goal opportunities they had in the first half, surely it would have been 3 goals for Dortmund if they had scored them. Real Madrid fans would have been in shock when they saw those performances. If i were them i should have been praying for them not to score so fervently. However the second half tables turn. It was now the time for Real Madrid to show why they are champions and do good thing is that they dont missed any goal opportunities. Every chances to score they make sure the ball is in the goal net. This is what always differentiate a true beat team from other team. It is obvious that most of us know the rules and consequences of gambling we wouldn't try to lend money out to someone who wants to use it for gambling. What annoys me the most is that some people come to borrow money thereby hiding the purpose of taking the loan. Yeah, in most cases it's not compulsory to share the purpose of the loan to anyone but you can identify which sector whether health, education etc. I still think it does not make sense for anyone to borrow loan for gambling purposes, the loan should be denied because there are probabilities that the loan may not be repaid back.

Let me show you a part of the miserable life of a gambler. Although gambling is not legal in my country, I will tell you how much the horror and bad effects of online gambling can affect the life of a common man. There is a gambler in my community who was a shoe seller in his early life but got addicted to online gambling and forced to sell his shoe shop. He has gone from a one-time shoe salesman to an addicted gambler after losing gambling bets. His wife and children now lead a life so miserable that words cannot express it. His wife is suffering a lot of torture for managing the gambling money and now the gambling wife is supporting the family by begging and taking care of the children. A family that once lived a very prosperous life has now become destitute only because of gambling and destroyed a beautiful future.
Am sorry to say this and i mean no offense but at the same time i meant what am about to say. The man is stupid, stupid enough to sell his shop to gambling. If he is successful though shoe making of cause he gets a lot of money that he uses to take care of his family and as well still gambling. There will still be some good life even if he is addicted to gambler, highest there would be some days when he will gamble all the money, he as supposed to give to his family, but the shop still remains. I always said this every time. My little efforts were to take action in combating teens blow the age of 18 to not gamble as they do not have the right mindset and they are not fully aware. I tried my best to share banners to local gambling shops and stickers that strikes a bold warning for people under the age of 18 to not enter the local betting shop. Although most of them still hid and go into gambling but i think a word is enough for the wise. If they choose to remain adamant and don't follow good advice i don't think they would want to stop it at that aga entirely. |

The reason was simple, religious people believed gambling is owned by devils.
I can't remember anywhere in the bible that said gambling is of the devil. And there are no religious groups that have included gambling as a sin their doctrine. What i know is that the religious people consider gambling as an irresponsible habit and such habits is one that Christ do not support as a good behavior. There is a popular story in the Bible were traders, and gamblers and so many other stuffs were taking place in the temple of God and Jesus came and chased everywhere out destroying what they came with. He was angry that this kind of activities should be done outside the temple and not within the temple.
