I seem to be having a problem reaching navajocoin.org Luckily we do have v3.0 of the wallet as well as a link to bootstrap the wallet file available on the dedicated forum. http://navcointalk.org/forum-root/topic/current-stable-navcoin-qt-wallet-for-windows/Hmmm, so the website has been down for a day now, no update from Soopy despite his last positive post..... Why Minerjoes post was deleted? People want real proof (and now, after 1y of waiting, real results) of devs work, not only empty promises. Specially at many of investors put more than 1k$ into that project.... Maybe his objection about possibility of scam was to hard, but he have right about shorter reaction time needed to realize promises by other devs compare to NAV devs.
I will still holding my Navs,, but like others investors I dont want see only propaganda without real action.
Btw. How we can talking about PR and promote NAV if devs ignore investors and their worries...
His post was deleted becouse the only thing he's trying to do is hurt this coin. He's not an investor. He sold his coins months ago in the worst time possible, that's why he's so angry - becouse he missed the uptrend. I'm not deleting posts of real investors and people interested in helping NAV. But I will not tolerate attempts to hurt us from people which are here only to fud and complain about everything. It's great to see a well thought out 3 stage implementation of the new incoming feature enhancements , security and BIP32 from the NavajoCoin Development Team.
Now the Navajocoin Security features, is what will be Navajocoins primary selling point in the future when Full Product is completed , and this aspect of Navajocoin will need to be heavily promoted. Also what Guarantees and verification can or will be provided that my transaction is Extremely Secure and Private.
I think we can ALL see, including Governments , Banks , Security Agencies and Regulators that Crypto Currencies transactions are becoming progressively mainstream. These Financial Transactions via Crypto have a fundamental right and should contain a privacy layer. Why would anyone want their financial transactions easily viewed and this is important for the future of a well regulated Billion dollar Cryptocoin market
Every team has a job to do and every team needs to do their parts properly to make sure we have, Safe communities, Educated and innovative societies and of course fair and balanced financial systems for all people. Yes we need to follow law of the Lands but if ever team plays their part properly , society can benefit from all future innovative products and services.
Law enforcement needs to protect and serve. We need to be protected against cowardly terrorism. We have the Right of financial security and privacy in all aspects of finance.
Now Bitcoin is far from being private and all new comers may mistakenly think they are using a highly private digital medium to undertake their Decentralized financial activity. Well this is completely incorrect.
Navajocoin is building a middle man product that can privatize this transaction away from those who care to look for all the wrong reasons.
I have always seen this as a worthwhile long-term investment in a currently developing product that beats Bitcoin in every aspect. Hands down.
Hopefully we see this product implemented properly of a very high standard . Well thought out and not rushed with holes. Of the highest security possible. Created with passion and delivered with pride and a sense of doing the right thing for the future of a Digital economy.
Now I wanted to mention the word Terrorism which we hear about on the News daily. We the people want to create a positive future for ourselves and our children. The majority of people are good 99%.The other 1% should not be an excuse to stop Innovation and Technology advancements. We seem to think in our humanly thoughts that every digital financial transaction is corrupt in nature. This thought pattern needs to end in 2015. Every Team needs to do their part and do it properly for the greater good of the 99% of the good people. Once that balance is found. The benefits of Digital innovation can be experienced by all.

how much are they paying you to keep the hopes high for people? i dont know if anyone else noticed but you are the only guy that has been positive throughout the whole 4 months totally nothing has happened in terms of development. why would that be? to keep the price somewhat stable and dump together with your dev friends? and if you guys would look closer to their new github page.. nothing has been updated, look at the lines of code that have been added.. anyone can do that, changing some variable names.. nothing related to bip has been added, so wtf is going on here?? yup this post will get deleted, but please start using your goddamn eyes........... We are all crypto enthusiasts When i first invested in NAV back in june 2014 i did my homework, researched the dev (Soopy) and at that time there were no other anon coins but it was promised for nav. Any potential investor should ALWAYS do the homework and go with the research that they uncover and find palatable. Having said that at first the devs were online everyday posing multiple times a day and answered questions immediately. Now if i look at NAV its just vapourware. Promises that aren't delivered, excuses deluxe and now just noting for months. That trend continues to this day and I for one if i was looking for somewhere to invest i would steer well clear of Nav as there ARE devs that are active every day promoting the coins and communicating with investors and community. Why is nav so stagnant on exchanges? Because nothing happens... ever. Sure it could be said that Nav and its devs have been around a while and that says something? Ebola has also been around a while but not something I would want. There was once a time that people called me a Nav cheerleader as i would say things like "they always deliver... eventually", that may be so, but why is everything cloak and dagger and why does anything take soooooooo long!!!! You would have thought that someone who acts as a "consultant" in the tech save would at least be able to project manage and be good at estimates? If in my day job i continually kept missing deadlines and gave wrong estimates I would be fired and that does for any walk of life. no, we don't own the devs, but I for one bought into what they promised and so far we are still far from what we were promised. If we (and you) didn't buy into what they were proposing this project would not have got off the ground. I just think they are either bored or can't do what they said they can do. Either way its unfair to keep us hanging on for what is essentially vapourware. You have all been given opportunity to come on here and make amends, but we are down to less than one post a month if we are lucky. We need to draw a line in the sand, be honest and stop all the cloak and dagger stuff. Sum2Dev why do you keep deleting posts?  We delete posts that: a) are pure BS/nonsense b) aim to hurt the coin / manipulate the price c) adds nothing to discussion (for example when people with many accounts post something just to get their forum rank upgraded) We have bot running, that delete posts of some people (for example tukho and other well known fudders). Hmmmm, I'm still not convinced.  In 6 (six) months we have an update that essentially prepares us for an update that we probably won't see until next year? can someone please show me what I am missing here that we should be so excited about? Isn't it just a rewording of what we have been promised months ago? Is this not just an update that says there is another update coming? (note no time scale either). Soppy said "he would rather just show us, than talk about it" but isn't this just that? Im not trying to fud, i am trying to figure out for all the REAL long term investors like myself exactly whats going on here and trying to get some real perspective. This "update" doesn't "appear" to do anything. There are no fixes to the problems we have highlighted months ago. Don't get me wrong, if (after the last 6 months of silence) we got everything thats promised in the next 3 stages as an update I would be over the moon. But there seems no point in this update if it doesn't actually do anything until the others are delivered? Please help me see what I am missing. |

Summer 2015 Roadmap
 Dear Navajo Coin Community!
We are glad to release new Roadmap for summer 2015. There are projects, which we have already been speaking about but also new and surprising ones.
We are not giving an exact dates for each task, simply becouse there are 4 members in Development Team, each responsible for something else. That's why one feature might come sooner than other one.
We will be giving more information about each project before it's release date. Please remember that this roadmap can always be expanded if Dev Team or Community present some new ideas. That's why we would love to hear Your feedback on this Roadmap! 
Below You will find a short description of each planned project:
Web Wallet (Mid-June 2015)
It's designed to allow Everyone to use Navajo Coin without having a client installed on computer.
It will make Navajo Coin even easier to use for an average user.
Mobile Wallet (Mid/Late June 2015)
Based on Web Wallet, Mobile version will allow Navajo Coin users to send & receive their NAV coins on the move, simply with using their mobile devices.
Decentralization of NAV Anonymous Technology (Late June/Early July)
Our next big step in improving NAV Anonymous Transactions System is decentralizing this technology.
We are working on decentralising the anonymous nodes so that anyone running a webserver can install it and process Anonymous transactions.
NAV Cooperation System (Late June)
This System will involve Community more in the project by creating certain privileges for holding a specified amount of NAV coins.
There will be 3 groups, each having other tasks and rights in planning & creating the future of Navajo Coin.
Official Navajo Coin Multipool (Mid-June 2015)
Multipool will allow all miners to get paid in NAV by mining the current most profitable POW coins. In result there will be more buy support on exchanges.
Navajo Coin Redesign (Mid/Late June 2015)
We have decided that Navajo Coin needs new, fresh and more professional look including NAV logo, announcement's OP and wallet design.
Official Promotional Video (July 2015)
We will make a short video, which will summarise all features of Navajo Coin and explain it's Anonymous Technology to viewers in easy way.
This will attract more average users and investors to Navajo Coin.
Official Forum (Late June 2015/ Early July 2015)
We will launch a dedicated forum for Navajo Coin.
Every cryptocurrency needs a place where their developers and supporters can meet, without fudders or trolls.
Press Releases and new Marketing Material (Late June 2015/ Early July 2015)
We are working on improving our marketing strategy: Press releases, new & simple white paper as well as infographic are being prepared.
NAV Masternodes System (Early July)
We are planning to add masternodes to the network. Each NAV user will be able to run his/her own masternode for a specified amount of NAV coins and receive more coins in return, bu running NAV masternode.

Thought we would have heard something by now! Looks like they will wait until last day and then announce that there will be an announcement. Last real development in nav was V3 wallet 6 months ago. And they wonder why we are pissed? Changing a font or logo is not an update btw.

Next week will mark the end of October.
I really hope the devs are not going to wait until the very last day and then just do an announcement that says "This is whats coming", like they have done previously.
I must say though, I am really looking forward to the "marketing materials", in the time that it has taken, Im expecting a hollywood movie with a voiceover from a famous hollywood actor and music by hans Zimmer!
I am really hoping I will be pleasantly surprised and will be the first to eat my words if they do finally deliver. but in the back of my mind I can't help but think that all we are going to get is a new percentage change graph that just adds 1% to everything.

Anyone else notice that staking has now gone the other way? Im now getting 1/7th of what i was getting before "the fix" Devs don't ever reply so maybe remy can say if the block timing issues have changed? ya, look at the stake weight ... i was getting rewards every 10 to 20 mins before because it was less than 1million, right now im getting rewards every hour due to the current weight of 8.9million. Hmmm, with those kind of rewards its kind of not worth leaving the pc on 24/7 as the energy consumed for a few sats isn't worth it. Still nothing from the devs.... I was hoping my "rant" may have prompted a reaction from them.... Oh and strugg (our community and pr manager) hasn't been online for over 2 weeks..... I want for nothing than to be proved wrong. I just can't support the current religion Nav is currently subscribed to. |
