201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: October 04, 2023, 09:32:53 PM
Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency. The name is an eye opener to crypto, and has brought or attracted many people into crypto currency today. And has continued to stand firmly without fading.

Many turn into shitcoin investor. After knowing about Bitcoin. Unfortunately it didn't work out the way they thought.
I am a tipical example of that. when I heard about Bitcoin how it started from $0.01 to thousands of dollars I thought shitcoin also has that potential. I was working and was investing in valueless coins thinking dey will be like Bitcoin. but never did as Bitcoin. all gradually disappeared. And that made me regret no investing it on Bitcoin then.

Although some people were pretty lucky to make alot of dollars from shitcoin, but mine didn't work out in any ways, so I would like you guys to shear your ideas on this an the possible solution.

I think some sense of openness towards other projects can't hurt. That doesn't mean anyone should shift their BTC holdings into some alternative cryptocurrency, but absorbing new developments and understanding potential future technology has never done anything bad to anyone. If you are talking about all those ICOs that were intrinsically worthless, then I agree. But in general I like to read up on new stuff that I find interesting and if there is really some available cash, I wouldn't mind investing some if a project gets the basics right and has some innovative technology to offer. With the basics I mean not some hot air white paper, but maybe some prototyping that already makes sense and is practically useable. I think any inflexibility is as bad as greed and dumping money everywhere.

Chelsea can certainly lament the fact that despite spending so much effort and so much money, they are not seeing any improvement in their squad. Only to improve the team, the team is spending significant amount of money to buy players as well as appoint experienced manager to Chelsea but still the position of the team is not changing. A new manager taking charge of the team every season could be one of the reasons why this team has not improved in performance. Every season when a new manager takes charge of the team, every new manager wants to implement his own strategy which may affect the performance of the players by adopting a different strategy every season. A quality manager must be appointed and this team will do well in the long run.
Pochettino is an experienced coach in the Premier League, but Chelsea cannot fully expect him to change everything in the first 5 matches of the season. So far Pochettino is still considered a failure because he has not proven a significant improvement in the team's performance, but if Chelsea can give him more time then I think Pochettino is ready to make a lot of changes.

Chelsea's performance is unstable because they are still unable to establish good cooperation between their players. The team's performance is affected by the number of new players and new strategies, so it's natural that this team hasn't been able to play well in many matches. I don't completely think Pochettino has failed this season, but he has only failed in his last 5 matches in the Premier League.

But isn't this exactly the apology that nobody wants to hear? I am sure that the Chelsea bosses sat down with him and asked him whether he is confident that things can be changed quickly and that Chelsea will soon be recognized as the club again that is playing for titles in all competitions. I am sure that Pochettino said that there is tremendous potential and he feels he is the right man to do it. Yet they are taking another dive for now.

                  Nottingham Forest vs Burnley

The game is on and Nottingham is dominating the game due to home advantage. Their visitor is trying to put themselves in the game and they are trying their best. Nottingham is the favorite to win this game because they have won Burnley 32 times, while Burnley has won Nottingham 29 timess.

Nottingham is pressuring to score but it hasn't worked out for them as Burnley wouldn't let them pass through their defense. There is still time for any of the club to score as I believe that Nottingham might net the post first before Burnley, it is still goalless draw as none of the club has been able to break the deadlock yet.

For Nottingham Forest this is a big game because if they could win it, what a great bolster would they have from the relegation zone and they would have taken away one chance for one of the teams from the bottom to get closer to the middle of the table. But Burnley is fighting and if they win it, the whole table looks very compressed. But the game is still going for another 45 minutes plus added time. Burnley is far from being safe yet.

Nottingham forest has been keeping possession of the ball without creating good chances and at such may end up not winning the tie and it seems to me like Burnley might pull out some stunt by stealing the show in the last minutes of the game.

I think the second goal scored by Burnley was wrongly disallowed, that ball was clearly not a hand ball, the VAR was wrong on that decision.

Oh I can tell you how often I am confused when this hand ball rule comes up and has to be discussed over and over again. Really at times I have no idea what is going on because I think a movement is still natural. The best incidences are when there is a handball when a player jumps into the air for a header, sometimes with their eyes closed and then with their back pointed to the ball they get the ball against the arm from behind. Every human being would jump like that because it is in preparation of the landing to make sure to not crash and lose balance. Still it is a penalty then. It can really steal all the work from a team.

I wonder if Tottenham have a Plan B in case of Kane's departure this summer. Because Bayern Munich still seem determined to sign him. Some rumours say that Tottenham might go for Lukaku but I don't feel like the player would accept any offer from them. He is favouring Inter much more than any team interested these days.

But Tottenham still should be able to find a decent striker to fill Kane's place. They don't need to sign a world star like him as well. Because even though they have one now they still can't win any title. They need to focus on improving their performance as a team and then they can be more successful even with just a decent level striker.

Here they assert that Tottenham Hotspurs is already having interest in bringing in DUsan Vlahovic if Harry Kane leaves. Tottenham seems to have entered the race wit hPSG as they are also interested. If it is true that Juventus is valuing Vlahovic at €70 million, the Kane transfer would flush enough money into their pockets to finance the Vlahovic deal with ease.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 10, 2023, 10:07:59 PM
But are any of those several reasons known? I heard that he declined an offer from the Premier League because he said he can't speak English, but I never believed that explanation although I admit that I tried to find videos where he gives interviews in English and there aren't a lot of videos to be found.

But now with PSG the situation should be different, but he still doesn't want to do it. If he gave the reasons for his decision I would like to know them if anyone has some info.
I think that's the last fact that wants to dismiss that he really isn't too interested in joining the Premier League so that reason is quite reasonable. I don't think there is anything very difficult to adapt especially in the language and it's a small matter that they can learn. Apart from that I think Zidane is only interested in coaching the national team and that is most likely what he is really looking forward to. For now, Luis Enrique has officially become PSG coach next season. I think he has pretty good characteristics in his coaching career.

At the same time i think psg shows a coach who has great experience in dealing with star players. So there is a big possibility that Neymar will shine even more next year after psg appointed Luis Enrique as their new coach. One of the big targets yet to be achieved is the Trophy UCL and that is quite heavy a job and I hope PSG can achieve it in the hands of Luis Enrique.

The reason could be that he knows he can't do any better than he already did in Madrid. When he won three Champions League titles in a row with the same team, what is he even going to do next when he wants a real challenge? A challenge in a different league or country, but also a challenge against what he has achieved himself. There is nothing more to come. He might have felt that he could only do worse than he did in Madrid. Maybe that kept him from doing it.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 09, 2023, 01:20:25 PM
Sadio Mane had a bad season in Bayern Munich mostly because of what happened between him and another player Sane in the last weeks he couldn't have enough focus while the Mane we know can still have a good performance in Bayern Munich I think he will stay there unless they hire Kane another player. in that case Mane still won't join the Arabian teams and he can play in the top European teams for years.
He has just spent one season in Germany, and it was not so good even though he won a trophy, maybe next season will be better ,and will play at the level expected of him. Saudi would have also been a good choice for him, also because of the money he would make playing there, but since it was all just speculations and no facts, he can continue to win trophies with Bayern Munich and maybe this season try to win the Champions league with them as they would like.

mane's situation at bayern will not be good this season, i say that because tuchel is the type of coach that when he arrives in a team and if in the first games he doesn't put certain players at the beginning of each game then he won't do it for the next games and they will try to sign other players, we saw that at chelsea, many good players are sitting on the bench and destroy themselves when the coach is a team coach, and from what I see bayern is looking for a better striker, that is to say it shows that my theory is correct, tuchel is not relying much on mane, if for example bayern got kane

so mane will be sitting on the bench for the whole season, he would play very little, i see only one path for mane: saudi arabia or else rooting for a great team to sign him and he scores a lot of goals in that other great team, in bayern he will not have the same success as he had at liverpool. in my opinion mane made a big mistake when he left liverpool to go to germany, he had to have gone to another premier league team or an italian team.

We can't make sure about the situation of Sadio Mane in the next season because nothing is clear yet, but we know due to something that happened in Bayern Munich with Mane and Sane he can't have enough focus for his teams and there is even the chance for him to leave.
Also if Kane joins Bayern Muniuh in the next season, they won't need to keep this player. That's why there is a high chance for him to go to the Saudi teams.

Kane is a player for a different position that Mane. Bayern Munich tried to let Mane play in the center, but it didn't work out and before they go into the next season without a real striker like Kane, Bayern Munich will do everything to sign a different player instead of trying it again with Mane. Mane is also a top earner at Bayern Munich and that is the bigger problem for them. If he now gets an offer from a Saudi club, Bayern Munich will be happy because otherwise he would just choose to stay and sit out the contract with that salary. That would be the worst case for Bayern Munich as they could need the money to bait exceptional strikers.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2023, 12:17:01 PM

I strongly agree with this,Sport motives have been lost, where I live now in a Western Balkans country I have seen in satiric TV emissions that the president of one club had put the manager of a player to let the game and the funny thing the manager was saying to the footballer,"I am not saying you should do a penalty no,you just put the ball out in throw in or corners or you fall down, you know what to do" and they were put to jail thanks to this investigative satiric programs.

This to illustrate that FIFA does not give a damn anymore about sportsmanship but they want to fill their pocket with money, since sport betting came we lost real football battles except a few of them, most of them are theater playing rather than football playing, this is the same even with World Cup and Euro,I know I may sound way too dramatic but that is the truth.

No, you don't sound too dramatic at all and I share your point of view. Commercial interests are creeping into the tiniest holes of authenticity that are left in sports. Whether it is sports betting / gambling or bribery where to host the next big event or buying and selling players with hidden shell companies, whatever happens in the business is related to becoming rich and not so much about becoming successful as a sportsman or as someone who manages sportsmen. The involvement of the media reached a whole new level, rumors are intentionally spread via social media and there are many more examples that fit into this point of view.

At these global events, in particular, I would expect much more of aa exemplary role to be taken by the large organizations like the FIFA. Put an end to all the acting and enforce stricter rules that foster the real game instead of all the theater that is going on. But yes, the FIFA is there to make money even though it is portrayed differently and it is said that they are not for profit and whatever they earn is reinvested into sports infrastructure. But this is nothing more than an illusion and the vision has never materialized in the slightest. The organization became more corrupt, or more corruption came to light and it has always been the same but investigations have become tougher, I don't know.

I wonder how things have changed this much about Joao Felix for Atletico Madrid. Not a long time ago Simeone didn't seem to be a fan of him. Atletico Madrid were even thinking of selling him for around 50 million euros as far as I can remember. But now the situation is the opposite. Now he has become a more indispensable player for his team.

According to news Atletico Madrid even want 100 million euros for him to think of selling him to any team. PSG and Milan have been the rumoured teams with him recently. But after hearing about the price I don't know if any of them would be keen on signing him that much. Maybe a loan option would be okay depending on Atletico Madrid's plans for him.

I was also very surprised at this news. It is not right to explain this with inflation, because there has not been such a serious increase in the football market in the last 6 months. However, the number of quality football players above a certain level is very small. Therefore, they may not have wanted to lose Joao Felix on the cheap. Of course we all know that Joao Felix doesn't fit Diego Simeone's game system. If Diego Simeone continues to be Atletico Madrid's coach, Joao Felix may find himself less in the starting 11 of Atletico Madrid next season.

Inflation? What does inflation have to do with it? Do you mean because energy prices are rising lol?

Atletico Madrid is doing what every club would be doing when they are about to sell a player that they bought in the past for far over 100 million. It is normal that they are now trying to talk the price up and say that they won't sell him below this number or that number. It is also part of the sales strategy when Simeone now out of a sudden says how much he likes Joao Felix. This is so obvious, but when they get a decent offer they will sell him.

As far as I know Zidane had received an offer to coach PSG but yes, Zidane turned it down so with this refusal it seems that PSG also did not make continuous efforts to get Zidane. But yes, I think the target of being able to recruit Zidane may have been forgotten at this moment because after all, PSG has also succeeded in recruiting Luis Enrique, of course Luis Enrique also has good qualities in building a team with a star squad.
There are several reasons why Zidane didn't become PSG coach, even though in the past there were rumors that intensively reported that Zidane was one of the potential candidates for PSG coach. Zidane rejected the offer for several reasons.
And the decision for Luis Enrique's agreement as the main coach has been officially launched by PSG. This is a little surprising because previously there were several other names that were rumored to be on several lists. Enrique also chose PSG because he wanted to coach the best squad that was indeed more competitive and always wanted to be in first place. But the next homework he had to do was how to bring PSG to the UCL, which this big club had always wanted to win.

But are any of those several reasons known? I heard that he declined an offer from the Premier League because he said he can't speak English, but I never believed that explanation although I admit that I tried to find videos where he gives interviews in English and there aren't a lot of videos to be found.

Still, there is a high chance for Mbappe to leave this team and he said before this is the last season for him to play in Paris, but today I saw a photo of the PSG shirt unveiling ceremony that made me think Mbappe will definitely stay in PSG for another season and there is even a chance for him to expect his contract with PSG.

That's the shirt they are going to use for the next season with Mbappe:

Yes, it is surprising that Mbappe also finally wears the new home jersey for the 23/24 season. Certainly the assumption that Mbappe will leave PSG is getting smaller and it will be a very valid thing to prove Mbappe's presence at PSG starting next season. With this we can assume that no other team or even Real Madrid will try to re-sign him in the summer. I think Mbappe is very confident that he can stay until the end of his contract and PSG will be the losers if Mbappe becomes a free agent next year.

You know the last time they had the same situation with Mbappe and he got the offer from Real Madrid while in the last seconds, he changed his mind and he decided to extend his offer with PSG because of the more money they offered him and that's why I'm not going to be surprised if I see him even extending his contract with PSG one again.

That would be a horror scenario for everyone who wants to see Mbappe finally join a renowned club. It is amazing to see him play for his country and also to see him play in the Champions League against the favorite teams, but when he plays against other teams from France it is not as much fun as it is when he plays on the highest level most of the time.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 01, 2023, 08:59:44 PM
That's what I'm saying. Joselu performed well against a weak squad like Espanyol. He seems to be better off with a world-class and experienced squad like Real Madrid. But first of all, Joselu has to adapt well to Ancelotti's match strategy. We will not get a better performance from Joselu if he does not adapt himself well to the match strategy. But we are not sure if Joselu is considered by Ancelotti as a replacement for Benzema.

Yes, however, what Real Madrid needs is not a striker that is made better by the Real Madrid team, but vice versa. They need a striker who makes the team better. I can't think of a striker who would actually play worse or score less in a team like Real Madrid when he isn't completely stupid. Sometimes there is no chemistry between a player and a team, but in general strikers score more in better teams as better teams score more.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: June 29, 2023, 09:36:02 PM
Ancelotti stays for one last season you know and he would be ready to say the best kind of goodbye to his team. This season was a big disappointment for Real Madrid. They were out of the title race for the La Liga early and it wasn't much different in the Champions League either. They seemed quite vulnerable against Manchester City unlike the previous season. They completed the season with only a Copa del Rey title as a result. This was a big fall compared to the previous season in which they won the La Liga and CL titles both.
Real Madrid had better not make do with Joselu transfer and sign a credible striker for both big tournaments as well. After that it is all up to maintaining a high level of team effort.
Rumors are that Ancelotti is currently eager to bring in new strikers like Kane, Martinez and even Mbappe. Currently Ancelltotti is also not too satisfied with Real Madrid because they only got one a new striker Joselu, Real Madrid previously lost their two strikers Diaz and also Benzema, so ancelotti wants two new strikers for the coming season. It seems that in his last season, Ancelotti will try very well to get a good record as a legend a coach of Real Madrid.
I think Madrid management is only interested in bringing Mbappe into the team. I haven't heard any rumors that Harry Kane wants to join Madrid. Since Mbappe's contract with PSG is going to expire next season, I don't think Madrid management will waste money on a new experienced striker this season. Joselu has been added to the squad by the Madrid management. Joselu is a very talented player. I think Ancelotti is considering Joselu as Benzema's replacement this season.
You are right in this regard but brining Mbappe would cost huge transfer fees to Real Madrid team, the guy is dam expensive and he is among the top class strikers currently, and that's why every club want to have him in their squad. I have also heard that Mbappe isn't interested in extending his contract with PSG, and that could be a helpful thing for Real Madrid. The Joselu is a good replacement for Benzema, but I think Real Madrid will need another striker to give tough gameplay to opposing clubs. The only good candidate for their squad is Mbappe and if he agrees to sign contract with Real Madrid after his contract is over with PSG then Ancelotti will be among the happiest man.

Joselu's performance with teams like Espanyol was very good. Espanyol is not a strong team. Joselu still managed to score a lot of goals. Madrid is an experienced team. They have a strong midfield. Ancelotti's match strategy is excellent. If Joselu is able to fit in well with this squad, he can score a lot of goals. I think Joselu has this ability. Madrid's performance next season will depend on the trio of Vini, Joselu and Rodrygo. As Ancelotti is an experienced coach, I think he can stabilize the team.

The number of goals he scored was alright and there is no point in reducing his performance in any way, but don't forget where he signed a contract.

Scoring goals is of course much harder with weaker teams, but at the same time nobody can tell for sure whether he is a striker who can play on the notorious Real Madrid level. It is possible to see the potential, but it is not possible to predict how far he can make it within a world class team.

If he was a cheap backup, the transfer makes sense and allows Real Madrid to stay attentive and wait for their chance to find an additional striker.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 28, 2023, 10:14:07 PM
There was a first rumor a while ago about Veratti leaving PSG and being in contact with one of the Saudi clubs. His salary isn't that high at the moment and for Al-Hilal this is mostly one of the cheaper transfers, but still a good one as he brings some quality to the team.
Another rumor is AS Roma and Jose Mourinho are trying to bring Veratti back to Italy and help him to have a first debut in Serie A.

Marco Veratti has never played a single match in Serie A as after a successful season in Serie B with Pescarra, he moved to PSG and played there so far. Veratti was a young player in Pescarra in that season together with Insigne and Immobile. News about that.

They must convince Veratti to accept a lower salary and as an Italian player, having a chance to play in Serie A before a retirement is good experience for Veratti.

This is interesting as I wasn't aware of that in the slightest. Now that you posted this I realize that I couldn't even have given an answer if someone asked me about the former clubs of Veratti. He has played there for 11 seasons now. Are the rumors that he has been confronted with lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia now a thing of the past? This could be a reason for him to not go to Saudi Arabia yet but instead try something else in his career. Staying at the same club for over a decade is rare.

L’Équipe report that Saudi 1st division side Al-Hilal have sent a delegation to Paris in an attempt to convince 30-year-old Italian international central midfielder Marco Verratti to make a switch to the Middle Eastern club and away from PSG.
https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2023/al-hilal-delegation-in-paris-to-attempt-to-sign-marco-verratti/

Al hilal makes a move to get veratti from PSG. The club knows that if PSG may try to sell him. Even al hilal's delegation has been also going to the paris to meet him. I hope that verratti will not miss a chance to join in al hilal as soon as possible.
Playing in the french league is a bit boring caused by PSG is the only strong team in this league. I hope that verratti will not reject al hilal's offer.

I have heard that if mbappe already made an agreement with real madrid to join in the club for upcoming season. It's caused by mbappe tries to help madrid to avoid non sense release clause fees by PSG.
I hope this news is real.

And not to forget that there still hasn't been a trustworthy and public statement if Neymar wants to stay or not. He has a contract but everything can change quickly and that would be like an earthquake for PSG if they lose their three most popular players all within a few weeks. They can't fill those gaps with equal players and it will be a new start for PSG, but will they still call the win of the Champions League the main goal? If they do it, who are the players they want to win that trophy with?
PSG already played many games without Neymar so I wouldn't call his loss as important as losing Mbappe and less than that for Messi since his first season wasn't that top with them.
Neymar performance dropped and injuries made him less valuable and his price/performance ratio isn't very profitable for PSG nor for the other teams around the world, except for business purposes or to attract people to their league Wink

Yes correct, but I wasn't talking so much about Neymar's performances and his contributions to the team. His whole transfer to PSG was more of a promotion and while I agree with you that as a player he didn't pay back the money that was paid for him, he attracted a lot fans from around the world to follow PSG. He was more of an attraction than a valuable contributor to the team's success. If now thee names like Neymar, Messi and Mbappe leave the club, that represents a significant caesura in the most recent history of the club.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 25, 2023, 10:09:02 PM
The future of neymar is still uncertain. I just got the news if glazer has been blocking him in summer transfer season. That means if the news related to the MU and neymar must be fake news. Glazer has no interest in signing him at this moment.
Neymar's future become uncertain. He was also feeling so frustrated by always facing injury in PSG. It seems to me if neymar had no choice other than stay at PSG for another season. He must accept it as he has no chance to leave from the club at this moment.
Some clubs linked to him have lost their interest in recruiting him as a new player for next season. Neymar must be feeling disappointed with their decision not to recruit him.eir decision not to recruit him.eir decision not to recruit him..
He was also getting scandal right now, and it makes him lose lots of followers on his social media.
Yes, he has to accept it, because no club is interested in recruiting players who are often injured, moreover him price is also very expensive. If Neymar stays at PSG he has to prove to the world that he still deserves to play in Europa, especially if PSG gets the UCL Trophy, this achievement will not be forgotten by fans PSG. But unfortunately many PSG fans are disappointed with Neymar, especially with the current hot scandal in various media.

Since PSG is losing players these days and players like Messi left this team also there is a high chance for Mbappe to leave PSG because of the offer he still has from Real Madrid and because since the rejected offer to expected his contract, I think PSG will have problem with forwards for the next season.
That's not and since there are not many options for PSG I think it's normal to see them even keeping Neymar for another season in PSG.

And not to forget that there still hasn't been a trustworthy and public statement if Neymar wants to stay or not. He has a contract but everything can change quickly and that would be like an earthquake for PSG if they lose their three most popular players all within a few weeks. Next season will be a hard season for Xavi and Barcelona because they couldn't have players like Real Madrid and other teams have much better performances in the transfer window, Barcelona needs to have a young alternative player for Lewandovki and they don't have a financial situation for even think about players like Kane or Osimhen.
I think unlike what we saw this season, in the next season Real Madrid will have much more chance than Barcelona.
Leviathan.007, please don't joke. Even Barcelona can perform better than Real Madrid even though it doesn't have many high-paying players. Barcelona was more successful than Real Madrid last season, even when they were going through a financial crisis. So I never underestimate Barcelona just because they can't afford expensive players like Real Madrid did recently. After all, is Real Madrid guaranteed to be better than Barcelona next season just because it spends a lot of money to buy players?

I'm sorry but how they can perform better than Real Madrid when Xavi can't buy the players he needs for next season? Just check the players Real Madrid is going to buy and you can understand hiring a player like Mbappe is more than a dream for any team.
If you saw the last season Barcelona had a better performance in La Liga and they won the title this can't be the reason to say they can do the same thing in the next season. The situation for these two teams is not the same at all.

They have already performed much better than Real Madrid last season and if they didn't lose 3 out of their last 5 games, they could have finished the season with close to 100 points (97 to be exact). If they can play another season with close to 100 points, Real Madrid has to change and do a lot to compete with Barcelona. I doubt that Barcelona is ready yet to compete in the Champions League, but it could be enough again for La Liga.

If we wait until 2024, I think it will be a bit long because what Real Madrid wants is that at the start of the season, Mbappe is already at Real Madrid to be able to dominate the game this summer. but if indeed Mbappe is retained by PSG for me it will only be in vain because Mbappe's desire to win the UCL title has long been and maybe only by joining Madrid can he achieve what he wants.
I think it will be as late as August if you ask me, because first of August means that if Mbappe hasn't extended his contract by that time, it is automatically not extended after that as well, which makes all of this rumor become real. In that case PSG will openly put him on the market, maybe even go as far as putting a value tag on him as well, if that were to happen I am sure that teams will line up to pay for it, and yes he will be very expensive and not many teams could afford it, but not like the ones who can will stop, they will offer him.

First place on that run is Real Madrid, not only because they are rich but also Mbappe would love to play for them, he has said this himself multiple times, it is his dream team since he was a kid.

Mbappe already said that he is not going to extend the contract if it is true that he sent this letter to the club bosses. What is more exciting is who else could try to get him. From Europe there are actually two clubs and that is Manchester City and Real Madrid or which other club do you think could do it? It has to be a big name and they have to have a lot of money. Mbappe wouldn't go to Newcastle. But I can't think of any other club that would be willing to pay 150 million and also a salary of 30 million net or much more than that. Haaland and Mbabbe on the same team would also be one of the strongest that the sport has seen.

Does the MLS actually have any sort of legit future now, or is this just another one off with the Messi deal?  I know Messi is considered top 3 anyway you shake it, many believe him to be the goat. But  I also know he's not in his prime, of course, but is he still a top 5 or so guy? I know when Beckham came over to the MLS he wasn't a megastar in Europe any longer  (not sure if he ever even was?) so that wasn't really a big deal to most of us Americans (was for the media, but not most people).  Basically same deal with Kaka /Zlatan coming to the MLS right? Weren't they all well out of their prime?

Just curious is this is the best player by far to ever come to the MLS, and if he's still got a few prime years left?
For Lionel Messi I think he is still a star to be reckoned with and although his decision to move to MLS is a bit controversial considering he still has the ability to play in Europe for at least the next two seasons. It seems things are not going well for Lionel Messi in the current transfer market and maybe no European club can reach a deal because of Lionel Messi's salary for example. For example Barcelona are reportedly still quite interested in bringing Lionel Messi back to Camp Nou.

The Saudi Arabian league was also linked at first and they were willing to give Lionel Messi a big salary but strangely he didn't go there preferring an offer from MLS. I think Lionel Messi is one of the best players to ever play in MLS and he has the ability to play for the next two seasons so let's see how he plays season going forward for MLS.

Just looking at the news and the numbers that have been reported by the media, I would also think that going to Saudi Arabia and earning almost a billion in two years should have been quite convincing even for Messi Cheesy But there may be so many confidential agreements that will never surface in the media that any speculation will remain speculation. There could be agreements in place for the time after his MLS activity or there may be major deals with further investors because we should not forget that the World Cup in the US is around the corner. I know the interview when he said that he could have done this or that when it was about the money for him, but I still think it is about the money for him and he is earning well regardless of whether he goes to Saudi Arabia now or to the MLS. Miami has been working on a deal for a very long time and they knew that they can't get Messi with 50 million only and I doubt that it would only be 50 million while he is offered ten times as much elsewhere. It can't be his moral stance on Saudi Arabia because he then wouldn't be doing business with Saudi Arabia in other areas as well but he already is.
