201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: September 01, 2015, 01:29:16 AM
I say the value will drop, and it`ll be around $100-150ish.

I`m only seeing it based on peoples reaction so far with the bitcoin being split.

$100 seems to be outlandish.  Smiley
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: August 14, 2015, 04:57:06 PM
Bitcoin's price in year 2015 will remain between 250-300 $.There is no solid reason to see price higher than this range.Instead of price rise we will see more and more adoption and recognition by different countries and institutes.

I would like a nice Christmas present, somewhere in the range of $400.  Smiley

Nope, but thinking of buying one.
204  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people quote OP? on: July 19, 2015, 12:59:29 PM
You know what grinds my gears?

When someone quotes a huge OP. Or any OP for that matter. There is no need for it.
Maybe someone can help me understand? As far as I know, its a waste of space.

Sometimes, OPs are edited.
If you quote the OP, your reply doesn't look meaningless.
205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pakistan warns India, says can use nuclear weapons if needed on: July 11, 2015, 04:15:33 AM
Pakistan threatening India is like a dog barking at a bear. If they launch a single nuke their whole country will be wiped of the maps in a matter of hours and they know it. Their defense may be strong but not that strong.

The Pakistani missiles are capable of targetting all the major Indian cities, and the Indian air-defense systems are obsolete and useless. It is true that Pakistan will be destroyed in a counter attack by India. But Indians should focus on improving their air-defense systems first, rather than pouring more money to improve their offensive capabilities. Perhaps, they should purchase the S-400 or the Iron Dome.

An all out war is unlikely, unless Pakistan is taken over by fanatics.
In that sense, defensive capabilities of India should be improved. No rational Pakistani ruler will consider attacking India.
206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Schools Implant IUDs in Girls as Young as 6th Grade Without Parent Consent on: July 04, 2015, 03:17:15 AM
In my opinion, if a 6th grade student requests the counselor for an IUD, then an investigation should be launched immediately, and the person who is having sexual relationship with that student should be charged with pedophilia and sent to prison. Well... it seems that rather than doing this they are encouraging under-age sex.

What is it is just 2 kids experimenting?
207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 20, 2015, 02:28:17 AM
The difference between the UK and the US is a lot. Do you have places like detroit, chicago, do you have mexico right below your country, do you have lots of drug cartels, or gangs, as much as we do?
No. Period.

Why is Mexico relevant?  Tongue
208  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Portugal decriminalised all drugs - now hardly anyone dies from overdoses on: June 08, 2015, 11:13:37 PM
You mean Shakespeare, that States and corporations should be officially largest drug dealers, huh? Frankly, I dont care either way. I have little patience for people, who need to have poisoned brain in order to function like human beings. People, who are disciplined and clean, wont be hit either way.

The drug problem is a social problem and affects a nation's well being and finances. So, even if you are disciplined and clean, it does affect you in an indirect way.  Smiley
209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Vote in Ireland! on: May 26, 2015, 12:07:49 AM
It shows the way for the rest of the world.
Unfortunately, a small set of homophobic people have a very loud voice and people think their view is the view of the majority. This vote proves otherwise.
210  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tsarnaev Given Death Penalty in Boston Marathon Bombing on: May 16, 2015, 07:46:22 AM
When the sentence is actually carried out, there will be closure.
There are appeal provisions.

211  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Japanese porn industry hit by shortage of men on: May 14, 2015, 12:13:21 AM
8,000 different women?
I think I will be happy if I have sex 800 times in my life.  Tongue
212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS Strips Children Naked – Sells Them at Slave Auction Then Rapes Them on: May 10, 2015, 01:33:58 PM
Can't help but wonder why anyone would want to fund ISIS, except for those who benefit from war and wartime planning.

I think they earn sufficiently from extortion and their oil fields.
Moreover, taking western hostages has been very profitable for them.

213  Economy / Services / Re: Bitstarz.com April Signature Campaign – up to 0.1 BTC and more per month on: May 06, 2015, 12:13:55 AM

A big thumbs up to this system of direct payment.

214  Economy / Services / Re: [Full] Bit★Starz.com May Signature Campaign – up to 0.12 BTC and more per month on: May 05, 2015, 11:47:44 PM
Wow.
That was pretty quick. The campaign was open for just 1.5 hrs.  Smiley
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: GBTC traded 765 shares today!!!! valued at $450 per bitcoin!!!! on: May 04, 2015, 11:49:47 PM
this won't do much for the price as you can see. traders don't think it's moon time yet. it will be a challenge this year to see $300 again.

The last one week has been good. A steady uptrend.
I was surprised to see Bitcoin rise from $220 to $240 so quickly.
Maybe Bitcoin will surprise us soon.  Smiley
216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beards found to be dirtier than a toilet seat on: May 04, 2015, 11:47:48 PM
Well, I don't think there is too much contact between one person's beard and another person.
So at least the germs don't spread too easily.
217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS 'SLAUGHTERS 300 CHRISTIAN CAPTIVES' on: May 03, 2015, 03:12:28 PM
Why don't you change the title? The title says "Christian captives", although the article refers to an incident, in which Yazidi captives were massacred. Yazidis face discrimination from both the Muslim and Christian communities. Even recently, they were at loggerheads with some of the Christian charity organizations in the Iraqi Kurdistan, over accusations of forced conversion.

Yup. Yazidis are a sect, whose religion has elements of Zoroastrianism, Christianity and Islam. They have suffered the most from the ISIS offensive.

218  Other / Off-topic / Re: Boxing is Dead! Hug And Run! on: May 03, 2015, 03:10:00 PM
Too much hype.
I can't believe this fight was 5 years in the making.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of the Bear Trend on: April 30, 2015, 03:26:47 PM
Bear season is over. There will not be enough coins for everyone. Tongue

I have heard this line for the last 6 months.  Smiley
220  Other / Politics & Society / Re: National Debt Tops $18 Trillion: Guess How Much You Owe? on: April 28, 2015, 05:32:52 PM
Very interesting website. I wonder if there is one that shows the expected debt for the next few decades.
In 2019 it will be over $20 Trillion. Just imagine how much money this is. It's actually an amazing amount when you think about it.

It may be an amazingly large amount, but it will be deflated away eventually.  Smiley
