Nothing is impossible. If youre lucky you might find a block. Mining in a pool is useless for a cpu. If your computer is free and you dont need to use it, why not? But overloading a CPU damages it, so dont try to somehow overclock the cpu or give it a big work load for a long time span

Satoshi created it. He made all this possible, so shouldnt there be an award for him? Other people made money out of Bitcoin, why shouldnt he? I think Satoshi owning some btc worth millions isnt anyhow bad

So you could actually invest all your money in this arbitage-method and always make profit out of it or is there a risk? By risk I dont mean like the risk investing in a ponzi or lotto, I mean is it somehow illegal etc

What do you actually mean by loading a credit card? You will somehow load any credit card in exchange for bitcoin??? How will that work? There are sooooo many credit card companies/publishers out there... Shouldnt this be in the currency exchange section?

Can you actually create Bitcoin Adresses that start with a 3? Like: 3E1WpLsF2iMYxhtMZh9XE21bkf1Cp686e1 ? They are actually valid and some websites have them.
For example Bit-X, they somehow all have deposit adresses starting with a 3. So now comes the question: Am I able to create one for personal use and how/where can I do it. I dont want any webwallets, I want an adress with a private key for me.
Thanks in advance!

You are obviously not looking at the graph.
Flat as can be, nothing happening, no volume. I know you want something significant to happen today, but it's a sideways day so far... Followed the news for the whole day, didnt see anything besides crap. Whats the thing happening? I actually suspect this rumour to be fake...

Hi
I realized that prices from all exchanges are different, but could you actually make profit from this? For example: Price of Hitbtc is 240$/btc, however the price of bitstamp is 220$. So is it somehow possible to buy tons of bitcoins from bitstamp and sell it at hitbtc for a 20$ profit per Bitcoin?
I dont have that much money to invest though, so I didnt try. Tell me your opinions!

When the dust settles there is no room for cloud mining. For cloud mining to makes sense you're dependent on ever increasing prices. And if you think prices will shoot up like that you should probably just buy coins.
Wrong. Both mining and cloud mining are the most effective when prices are stable. This way you can profit even if there's completely no price movement for a year. If the value goes up holding becomes more profitable and if the prices go down both mining and trading become unprofitable. The only thing that can bring you profit in such case is trading (waiting for small bounces and bull traps to sell). I tried trading when the price was somehow stable (about 1-10$ bumps). But I never managed to make profit from it, because of the high fees. I didnt have much capital, only 0.5 btc and managed to only make 10$ in 2 weeks. Am I doing something wrong or is my capital just too small?

SSDs makes the website MUCH MORE faster when it comes to doing jobs like logging in, fetching data etc. Also, they are less likely to get physical damages, because there arent any moving parts. Powerconsumption is also better than hdds: for comparison - SSDs take not more than 2W, however HDDs take more than 6W. Bitcointalk works quite fluently for this load of traffic, maybe thats because of the SSDs?

I'm wondering. How many individual members are there that have: - Posted at least once in the past week - Logged in at least once in the past week
- Posted at least once in the past month - Logged in at least once in the past month
Do not include newbies/brand new users.
Would be nice to see some stats regarding the above. Around 250 new members register each day, most being bots that disappear after they are created.
There is a page wherein you can track the number of active users in this forum but I need to sift through my post history before I can post it in here. Also, the all-time stats of the forum can be seen in there, but until now I can't figure it out why are there no stats for the column "Most Online" from May 2013 up to this month. Anyway, I hope I helped you in this one marco, though I'm not fairly sure whether this page satisfies what you need to see: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=statsAs I can see from the stats. There are about 3000-4000 members active throughout the day, so I think about 5000 people are active on the forum. dothebeats good job finding this link!

How active would a person have to be in order to be able to make such a deal ? Is there some lower limit you could share with us?
thanks
No requirements really but don't PM me if you don't make a few hundred or so quality posts a month and/or are extremely active or prominent in some other form. Did you review me? Am I eligible for this campaign? Didnz get any message from you. Thanks!
