201  Economy / Lending / Re: Want $300 worth BTC on: October 22, 2018, 06:50:55 AM
If you're not going to mention the payment methods you're using, It would probably better to close the thread.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Regarding ERC223 on: October 21, 2018, 04:15:54 PM
ERC223 is clearly an upgrade to ERC20 that could really help to solve a lot of problems. It helps with the lost tokens while sending to a contract, and also help developers manage the incoming token transactions from what've read etc.

My question is this, It's being some time since Ethereum implemented this I believe and yet, I can't seem to find any project that uses ERC223 instead of ERC20 and does anyone know If the current wallets such as Exodus, Myetherwallet, MyCrypto, Coinomi etc. support sending ERC223 just as ERC20 or the upgrade didn't affect that and tokens are simply treated as tokens regardless?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit - Fake Twitter account (Yobit_Admin) on: October 21, 2018, 02:46:10 PM
Anyone with common sense should know that a site owner would never ask you for your credentials. Regardless though, I think YoBit shouldn't even be considered while looking for an exchange, they've proven to the community that they are not trustworthy and very unprofessional so many times.
204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: when the total supply of btc mine able then what happen on: October 20, 2018, 03:34:37 PM
I don't see why would anyone be worried about this since It's not going to happen in our lifetime but to answer your question, the miners will be getting transactions fees instead of block rewards. It's going to worth much more logically because there will be no more bitcoins to create.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on: October 20, 2018, 10:54:01 AM
With the big community that bitcoin currently have, the limited supply and how bitcoin is currently distributed plus the number of people that keep joining the bitcoin scene, and with the improvement proposals being implemented, I don't think there is such a risk, at least not If we're speaking long term.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anxiety about cryptocurrency wallet hacking on: October 20, 2018, 08:16:54 AM
This looks more like a sponsored article. If people got the right education before joining the crypto scene, most of the hacks would've been easily avoided but since people just join for the money, they are careless about anything else.

At this point, If you want security, just go with Trezor or Ledgerwallet. Both have proven that they are very secure and reliable.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Adbank 🤖: The New World Currency of Online Advertising on: October 20, 2018, 07:43:35 AM
I have been trying to access the Telegram since months now and each time I try to, it says "Sorry, this group is not accessible". Is anyone facing the same problem?
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid ICO - CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOR EVERYONE | MAIN SALE 9 FEB 2018 on: October 19, 2018, 06:50:57 PM
I agree with freaks, I'm not trying to spread FUD or anything but this project is pretty much dead. It was really promising and that's why they managed to raise the funds in the first place but when the team tried to scam the investors, it was the endpoint, and they can't come back from this whether they manage to deliver or not because It's all over the crypto news sites, people can't trust them regardless of what happens, not to mention that everyone started to dump the coins the second It was listed on exchanges.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain.com via Twitter: "Something "big" is coming" on: October 19, 2018, 12:06:45 PM
They promised to deliver SegWit by 2018 Q1 or Q2 If I remember correctly. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but as long as Roger ver is an investor there, they're really not going to do something that benefits the bitcoin community in general so It's very unlikely to be SegWit, my guess is that it would be an exchange.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Multicoin wallets on: October 19, 2018, 11:57:23 AM
I was referring to the desktop wallet when I said Coinomi, I'm not really a big fan of their android wallet just because of the UX/UI.

As for hodler.tech, in most cases, there is lack of development when it comes to open source projects unless It's related specifically to bitcoin because it has a much bigger community and I guess that can be seen from the screenshots on the link.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TEZOS (XTZ) on: October 19, 2018, 09:24:39 AM
If we're speaking about the whitepaper then it definitely looks like a good project but the question is whether the team will be able to deliver what they promised or not. If they do, then it could surpass Ether for sure, the self-governance feature is probably what everyone is waiting to see in action.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaign or Crypto Job that rewards in ETH on: October 19, 2018, 08:02:29 AM
I suggest trying Ethlance, It's a platform for freelancing that pays using ETH. It's not used that much, so you may not find jobs that you're looking for.

You can also try BountyPortal since It's hard to follow the threads in the bounties section but unless you have experience as a community manager in older projects, I doubt you'll be recruited.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Multicoin wallets on: October 18, 2018, 08:03:11 PM
I'm not a fan of closed source wallets as you can never know what's going on behind the scenes but I want to give them a try since I'm not planning to hold large amounts anyway.

I've managed to find Atomicwallet, Exodus and also Coinomi which is not out yet but from the screenshots they posted, it looks very promising. I want to know your thoughts on these wallets and others If you have as well.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: October 18, 2018, 06:04:54 PM
I understand everyone being excited about the stats they released and also about the listings in big exchanges but does anyone know what happened to the funds from the ICO? because does it matter If they have all these listings If the development won't be active after a certain time?
215  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: October 18, 2018, 09:03:48 AM
skrill is even more dangerous. they can just refund the buyer and also charge you for inappropriate usage of their service. avoid!

I believe Skrill is much harder when it comes to chargebacks so I would recommend it over PayPal and I don't think what you said is even possible. By that logic, If the transaction from A to B is made and then one user is sending to another, everyone will lose their funds? that would make the company close in a matter of days.
216  Other / Meta / Re: Ads placed in the forums on: October 16, 2018, 04:04:17 PM

That was it. I appreciate taking time to look for it.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Are we still in risk? on: October 16, 2018, 09:43:45 AM
A couple of weeks back, I've read on the forums what is on the top right now. I didn't bother to read because I use hardware wallet. However, lately, I started to see people in both Reddit and the forums telling that this could lead to a chain split so I'm not sure If this is the usual FUD or It's actually something serious? If that is possible, are we out of the danger zone? do we have enough nodes with 0.17.0, 0.16.3, 0.15.2 or 0.14.3?
218  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: October 16, 2018, 08:08:08 AM
I was reading the last blog article Trezor made and at the bottom, they added an image where it says "23% off" and some coins which I believe they support. Tether logo was there, I'm pretty sure that they don't currently support it, at least not without using a third party service. Can anyone confirm that they'll support it in the future?
219  Other / Meta / Re: Ads placed in the forums on: October 15, 2018, 05:26:57 PM
There isn't any historical ad listing, but if you remember anything about it, maybe I'll know what you're thinking of.

Basically, It was a website that gives you all the info about the upcoming events for multiple coins (conferences, meetups etc.).
220  Other / Meta / Ads placed in the forums on: October 15, 2018, 05:13:06 PM
I'm aware of Adinfo and Adstats links but is there is any kind of history of the past auction rounds?

I remember seeing a service being advertised here but I can no longer find it. Is there is any other solution to find it except checking every thread made by theymos for the last few weeks?
