202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Illegal Tax Evasion on: June 25, 2016, 07:44:55 PM
Instead of this pointless fud and baseless accusations why do you not read the actual guidance form FinCEN and check if your favorite ICO / IPO / pre mine / emission to fund development / coin(s) meet their definition of "De-Centralized Virtual Currencies" or are in fact are "Centralized Virtual Currencies" with one or more MSBs that are not registered and are not doing AML/KYC in violation of US Law?

https://fincen.gov/statutes_regs/guidance/html/FIN-2013-G001.html
lets see if OP and ilk will have the same kind of words to say when Monero is nearing a $1 billion marketcap.

Thank you guys. This is exactly what came to my mind when I saw this thread's title.

Monero is such a good coin. It is literally the best you can choose. Without privacy there is no freedom!
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favourite Altcoin? on: June 25, 2016, 07:40:47 PM

Monero.

Why? Because Monero is THE secure, private, untraceable currency. It is open-source and freely available to all.

With Monero, you are your own bank. Only you control and are responsible for your funds, and your accounts and transactions are kept private from prying eyes.

Without privacy there is no freedom. Feel free to give it a try: Get Monero.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a central location for Waves talk on: June 24, 2016, 12:24:38 PM
and why do you have to create a new topic about this? there are many existing threads you could post this in, but no, you had to go for the attention-kid-route.  why is that?  is that all you people ever do?
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO CLOSED | DISTRIBUTION OF RISE STARTING | MAINNET LIVE | 1700 BTC+ on: June 24, 2016, 12:17:41 PM
Why I was rejected? You said :

blabla
blabla

It's strange, the deadline is by the 23.59 EST of today so you are still accepted. However wait a reply from the dev.

Thanks for the support, dev can you please reply ?

If you're on a list that says rejected I'm pretty sure whining is a waste of time. Of course you are rejected for good.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The altcoin land is PoS and PoPA on: June 24, 2016, 12:15:38 PM
The altcoin land suffers from a gruesome case of PoS - no, not Proof of Stake,

it's Proof of Stupidity combined with Proof of Profit Addiction

It's not going anywhere

Just hoard the only real coin among the sheer amount of scam and bullshit.

There is no future for all of these.  In fact none of #2 - #10 coins on Coinmarketcap today will survive, let alone all the crap that is listed there beyond that.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO CLOSED | DISTRIBUTION OF RISE STARTING | MAINNET LIVE | 1700 BTC+ on: June 24, 2016, 12:12:32 PM
Wait a second.

These guys just raised 1700 BTC for a simple clone of LISK which is a simple clone of CRYPTI?

This altcoin space is willfully insane.

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Bismuth - No Limits, Easy Integration, Endless Possibilities, Python on: June 24, 2016, 12:04:03 PM
@HCLivess

What is your legal name? Please post a link to your LinkedIn profile.

Could you also go into more detail on the claim of "endless possibilities"?

It's interesting to note that the author of the above comment is the (former?) employer of the OP, kushti.

"Drugs"? What is your issue man?

You obviously don't have much reading comprehension. It was in reference to the bad shit crazy post above mine. Alex and I have a great relationship. Try again son.

You obviously don't know how to quote as you didn't do that.  I see you now edited your post.  Congratulations, daughter!

211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAO "Attack" was an inside job by the big banks ! on: June 20, 2016, 01:03:09 PM
As far as I know it's not a secret that Vitalik Buterin and the other Ethereum people have been cooperating closely with Goldman Sachs and a number of US-based financial institutions.

Ethereum fans have always been busy trying to neglect this fact.

Ethereum IS a direct result of centralized bankers' planning.

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Monero under 25 cents? What the hell are you waiting for? on: June 18, 2016, 09:36:12 AM

Monero is a secure, private, untraceable currency. It is open-source and freely available to all.

With Monero, you are your own bank. Only you control and are responsible for your funds, and your accounts and transactions are kept private from prying eyes.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / All ICOs are inferior to Monero on: June 18, 2016, 08:43:18 AM
Just saying

It's sad that so many good people are getting burned by these scams.

Monero is always there to catch you. Send private transactions. Control your funds.

Without privacy there is no freedom.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Munny on: June 18, 2016, 08:41:23 AM
Obvious reverse shill, pretty disgusting breed here

If you think you are damaging Monero reputation, you are failing badly. You need to do it perfectly or you get caught

I don't know what you're up to with this unrelated and spammy post.

I figure "Munny" is a good marketing campaign for Monero. As a matter of fact Monero is the best solution for private transactions on the internet today. I consider it perfect digital munny.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 60k Moneroj. Will i be a millionaire by 2017? on: June 17, 2016, 02:32:18 AM
Thinking about to buy 60k xmr. What so you guys think, is it possible to become a millionaire in 2 years?

Yes it is possible.
The emission is pretty dry in 2017.
If everything goes as planned, it will the year when people start feeling the severity of Monero shortages around the globe.
People without Monero will appear as miserable as third world people without pure water.

A true visionaire, this TrueCryptonaire. Albeit the last sentence sounds a bit harsh I couldn't have expressed it any better myself.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: June 17, 2016, 02:30:27 AM
Can someone link me to the dapps that have been made for lisk?

They have one in the pipeline. It's made by Charles Hoskinson. It's a beard dapp. All natural beard oil, beard balm, mustache wax. That's how it goes in crypto land. Throw in some mathematics and bam you have some fancy software going.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which coin has a friendly userbase? on: June 17, 2016, 02:27:40 AM
Which coin comes to mind when I ask you for your personal choice for warmest and friendliest cryptoland community?

Very interested in hearing everyone's suggestions
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 17, 2016, 02:25:19 AM
Very good decision to have the launch delayed so that everyone can take part.

A fool who believes that all this had not been planned in the first place.
219  Other / New forum software / Re: Shadow / Stealth Type of Ban Please on: June 17, 2016, 02:22:18 AM
I'm not sure yet whether or not I'd be happy to see a feature like this be implemented, but here's my thought: if those two groups of people were shadowbanned because of their posts, it would certainly be a punishment if/when they realize that they've been wasting their time all along and none of their posts have meant anything.

i'm open to any criticisms to my thought.
I assume that in this type of shadow ban, their posts that were made during the shadow-ban never become visible to the users and never count towards anything (even after it expires). Is this correct? Only in such a case could this be acceptable.

Yes. That's exactly what I had in mind.  Please excuse the confusion I've caused here.

& I was not necessarily thinking of a temp stealth ban but sort of perma ban.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Munny on: June 17, 2016, 02:14:04 AM
It is Friday 17 June 2016 and honest, secure, private, and untraceable internet munny is available to the internets.

You can try it out now, it comes from the future  https://getmonero.org/home

Enjoy!
