201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ellaism: Ethereum network with no premine and no contentious hard forks on: November 08, 2017, 12:05:09 AM
Heres a TL;DR version  Wink

I actually think this is a very good comparison chart to the different projects out there and what the circulating supply is for each one! Like ELLA is definitely on my list to buy and accumulate over the next few months it should definitely rise in price! I'll give it six months before we really start to see result pay off but not even that long if we can get on a few more exchanges and spread the word more effectively especially since its a community coin all the way!

I really like the idea of the game, I've played it a couple days now and I do think its got a strong future, the UI needs work no doubt but that can be handled with the funding! I hope it does meet funding goals it would be nice to see a game like this hit mainstream and my new day job would be crypto trading and playing this game lol. Cheesy Excited to watch the funding take off and I've already bought in and plan to buy more in due time depending on how funding goes.  Cheesy
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Interstellar Holdings (HOLD) POS/POW COIN WITH PURPOSE! SCRYPT/HIGH APR on: November 07, 2017, 10:38:50 PM
Looks good I look forward to picking some up and staking them I love high payout coins. Have you guys tried getting listed on coinsmarkets yet? There listings are free I believe and even better the exchange does pool staking and pays out the rewards to the holders regardless if your trading the coin or not. Seems like that would be the best place to start with a coin this new that or coinexchange or tradesatoshi. Cryptopia is a waste of money imo 40k to get a coin listed for an exchange that does so little volume??  Huh Huh But any exchanges are good and cryptopia is the more popular one in the community these days good luck with the project team!

We have already paid Yobit and waiting to be listed.. also Coinexchange has been paid.. and then Cryptopia soon, we don't really want to go with Coinsmarkets.

Ok thats fair bummer about coinmarkets guess that means I'll actually have to work and download the wallet and stuff oh well life will go on!  Roll Eyes That should be exciting to see it drop on yobit and I'll see about buying in no miner atm but I'm definitely going to stake the high interest for sure! Good luck the development and exchanges add. One final question have you considered a dex add like Crypto-Bridge or BISQ, those would definitely be good long term adds since they are DEX's.

Hey guys, thank you very much for the masternode tutorial, i followed it and managed to run mine.
So far so good its working without any issues, but i have some questions regarding the wallet when you run the masternode.
If i send coins from my wallet that masternode is in it, will it takes the coins from the 1000 XLR collateral?
Are the masternode collateral locked?

Few examples:

1. If i have 1340 coins and i want to send 350 what will happen?
2. If i have 1340 coins and send 340 exactly from where will it take the fee?
3. If i have 1340 coins and want to send 200, does it know to not touch the masternode collateral?

The questions maybe are stupid, but i never had wallet with masternode collateral in it and i'm not sure what i'm allowed to do.

I always recommend leaving at least 1 coin in there because of that exact reason I don't want to screw up the collateral but you can withdraw funds and continue business as usual I just wouldn't cut it that close tbh. I believe the fee is removed from the current balance when you send the coins, but tbh I never really paid attention to it. Like I know some wallets you have the ability to chose that option but when you go to the send screen it doesn't have the usual checkbox to do that so I could be wrong and it may deduct from the remaining balance, can anyone confirm what it does?

I don't believe the ROI is less then 100% a year but lets say it is, does it really matter as I'm sure the price per coin will be worth a lot more in say 6 months to a year from now as the supply will remain low. I am expecting the price per coin to be worth at least a few dollars so for anyone buying a masternode now will make even more then the 100% ROI in a year. Its only if the coin doesn't go up that the ROI will take longer and will be under 100% which I can't see happening with Solaris. I also think that the price increase will also offset more masternodes being run as I'm sure this will also pick up over time which as we know lowers the masternode reward but I think the price rise will offset this as well. Solaris has so much potential and the ones that are getting in now will benefit in the long term.

Yeah I agree, in fact, I'm thinking this coin is still a baby compared to other masternode coins out there atm. I'm willing to bet that if we burn some of the supply after the swap out for those stuck on topia then that should help increase the price! Watch this coin pull a DMD and be worth 20K in a years time from now man that would be awesome but easily achievable with how little of the supply that is available and the number of exchanges that we can purchase them on. Once the mining period ends I think that is when things are going to get interesting!

This project is definitely on my list of interest and will probably partake in the bounties available when they are announced! This game could easily take off, Im assuming that this beta does not include the final take graphics wise? The graphics aren't bad considering what stage its at but I could easily point out where work is needed. Its a new in-game concept and you can actually make money by leveling your toon which is a nice idea and very attractive considering I used to do it for free on WoW now I can earn crypto! I signed up for the beta test and look forward to playing the game keep up the good work team wish you well with your ICO!

So question about the masternode side of things, is the requirement still going to be 20K or is that still up in the air? 20K is a lot of PIRL for a coin with such a small supply available makes the barrier of entry really high for a masternode. This leads to the masternodes being stuck in the hands of a few versus many and hurts the decentralized aspect of the project imo; also has the payout been decided on what the mn rewards will be once they are released?

Very intriguing to say the least! I'll be looking more into this one and snagging a few myself with such a small supply it should rise nicely but we'll see! I see it has a topia add so that is a great start considering you have to pay close to 40k to get a listing there.

Dev - Is there any major plans on marketing, actual forum, community, etc.?

I believe marketing is scheduled to take place after the swap out is complete and a few more exchanges are added into the mix. I know the next goal is Bittrex and if we can get a add on there then that should definitely inspire a nice price rise and maybe spur a growth in the community that will address the longevity of the coin. Any updates on a Crypto-Bridge add, the poll looks pretty split from where I'm standing but I already use Crypto-Bridge so if we do get a add there thats just a bonus but congrats on the yobit add dev keep up the good work!

why do you need blockchain for this project?

Seriously, what kind of question is this? Lets assume you're not just trolling the thread to get your post count up and are asking a legitimate question. The answer is quite a few different reasons but to sum it up the blockchain is a ledger that keeps track of every transaction and prevents people from counterfeiting the currency of choice. Digital currencies have been tried before but all have failed due to counterfeiting and double spending(think of e-gold); with the blockchain however thats impossible to do thats why bitcoin is the first of its kind and considered a success story for digital currency. Technically it is possible to double spend but not without owning a huge amount of resources and even then it depends on the chain.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: November 05, 2017, 03:48:19 AM
Let's stay positive and hope that the wallet and the exchange will be outstanding. Maybe are they just too perfectionists?
But, please, don't find excuses to delay the exchange to Q2 or Q3 2018 Undecided

And we can already see the consequences of that delay... Price of NVST is now just 29 cents... If they were in time, the inverse would happened
For hodlers, this is time to pick them up for cheaper than ever!

Yeah the consequences are really starting to hit home since BTC decided to moon on everyone and the alts are bleeding nonstop. Hopefully the wallet is released soon but I definitely think they should change the way development takes place I mean is the wallet even opensource on github so we can confirm work is being done on it or are we just hoping for the best on it? I definitely will be holding mine but we could at least try to get on a better exchange counterparty is just not enough these days.  Roll Eyes
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ellaism: Ethereum network with no premine and no contentious hard forks on: November 04, 2017, 05:08:17 PM
So I see that Bisq is coming soon are there any plans to try and get on somewhere like Crypto-Bridge or Openledger? I know technically they are a part of the competition but in the end the more DEX's ELLA is on, the better its future is secure. One last note on DEX's a Waves gateway would really bring this coin up the ranks pretty quick and inspire community development to really take off move onto things like mobile wallets and other projects of adoption!
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ellaism: Ethereum network with no premine and no contentious hard forks on: November 03, 2017, 06:03:54 PM
We now have a Chrome Extension wallet. Note that all code run by this wallet is loaded locally and your private information or keys never touch the Internet. So it's as safe as a desktop wallet (and arguably safer because it runs inside Chrome's restricted sandbox). Always remember to backup your wallet files!

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/myellawallet/bgfofdgebpphdhddggaggeafenegbjef

Good work I'm definitely buying in looks strong and I bet it will take off in no time! I like the idea behind the project and the fact you just released a chrome extension wallet shows me your serious at least to some degree about the project. With no pre-mine thats just icing on the cake as far as worrying about any kind of dumping happening besides whales that are just bag holding. Definitely needs more exchanges though like coinexchange and a DEX one would be nice like crypto-bridge; I would say cryptopia but they are really expensive to get listed 40k I believe so theres definitely easier places to get a coin like this listed without having to drop 40k on an exchange that only does approx a few million in volume.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥⚡Masternode⚡Obfuscation,Seesaw⚡Zerocoin implementation soon⚡Xevan on: November 03, 2017, 05:37:53 PM
I think Solaris is actually holding up well in price compared to a lot of other coins out there. I think once the swap is fully complete that then the dev could start some marketing campaigns to help spread the word as still not many people out there know about Solaris. I do my best by promoting on Twitter and so far I have had a good response and brought in a few people already. I see the poll is 50/50 right now, I was hoping more people would be interested in using CryptoBridge as an exchange but I guess not.

I agree all thats needed to really get the party started is a little marketing and positivity. I re-tweet post from XLR but don't have near the followers needed to make an impact on the marketing side of things. As for the Crypto-Bridge situation umm I have no idea why ppl are voting no, like its not like XLR is a known coin everywhere and any exchange we get is a bonus in my book I would even be down for Yobit to add us. I know that Yobit is the exchange that coins go to die but at least it has decent volume on the market and I don't think one exchange will kill the coins rep especially when we are only on one exchange now and the community and dev are strong with XLR.

Sorry to ask,but is this an Airdrop??
Thanks

No this is no airdrop coin. You can mine it or buy it. Everyone shuld have some in his pocket, because there is a great developer team and very low supply. The price is cheap, but steady rising.

I love how everyone just assumes its an airdrop coin like where does it say that anywhere on the thread? Its like people don't even bother to read anyone or something... Huh Huh I wonder how long at this rate that teams will even bother to compose whitepapers before too long.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: InflationCoin - IFLT - 80% PoS Year II - Livecoin exchange 12/15 - Yobit- Alipay on: November 02, 2017, 07:48:50 PM
It's official, the stake rate has went down to 80%  Cry But i am still going to keep on staking since the payouts are still good compared to other coins.

Here is the link to confirm the 80% stake rate now:
http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/IFLT/

Indeed 80% interest rate/year is still a good coin to stake. It shouldn't switch to 80% POS on 7 November? Exactly after 1 year after the first block was mined.

The original developer counted 1 year in the code as 525600 blocks, possibly also the blockchain was initiated earlier before launching on Bitcointalk.

after switching to 80% all the steaks are reset? I had a steak of 1 600 000 from 23.10 today received 47 000? counted% after switching to 80% and before that the coins burned out?

When your client finally mines a stake it will output a reward based on the current stake subsidy calculation so the compounding results differently, but your coin age is still factored into the total.

So im liking this listing on cryptopia and plan  and I plan to pick up a few of these but first a few questions though:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/MarketItem/8124

1. When do you plan to restock them?
2. Is there a limit to how many you can order?
3. Is the 20% rebate in IFX per staking box or per order?
4. How can we be sure the firmware isn't compromised on these PI's are they being drop shipped?
5. Is topia an escrow service or do we have to provide an escrow?

Thanks

They had them in stock recent weeks and had sold out around the same time we posted the offer on Twitter. Right now the discount is limited to twice per month, once per week, and will be featuring different products each month. Also aside from the featured discounts you can purchase any game at a discount rate also by ordering from the discord chat server. The IFX rebate can count for the entire order, and eligible to be redeemable for InflationCoin after 3 months. Eventually will update the thread with more info as long as it continues to go well. For escrow we're using Cointopay to accept payments in InflationCoin, which works similar to Bitpay and can also bid directly from the Cryptopia marketplace.

We're also looking into backing the asset through custom Smartcoins and margin trading on Bitshares when enough capital from additional investments has been raised, it can be a cleaner way to peg a market asset's value and doesn't require traders to need direct exchange liquidity from order books always present, all coins have an in-built function to settle their position based on the initially specified price and funds pooled into the asset's contract. The coins are created and borrowed with collateral to back the core pool unlike issuing general digital assets.

The NavPis come with a customized OS pre-installed on the hardware, even if something didn't work, it's still a normal RaspberryPi device that would work with the latest linux build of RaspberryPi 3.

Cool thank you for the clarification on my questions I appreciate it very much! Sounds like a great deal for an actual use of IFLT and thats exactly what it needs to survive the bloodbath the alts are going through atm and down the line in the future. I think the smart assets are a great idea as well to ensure that the rebates run smoothly and I would love to be able to margin trade them or even lend them for interest if that feature was available lol. Overall, I still plan to look out for the product you offer each month, hope the stakers are available again soon I've had my eye on that one but if not then I'm sure I will pop into the discord chat and buy a game or two!  Cheesy

I would like to ask about Signatures campaign

Weekly Campaign Rates :

Members : $20 per post (in tokens)
Full members : $40 per post (in tokens)
Senior members : $50 per post (in tokens)
Hero members : $60 per post (in tokens)
Legendary members : $70 per post (in tokens)

$20.$40,$50,$60,$70 per post?Is this real?It seems to me too much, but maybe I am wrong.

Is there Translation Bounty?

This campaign will last until three weeks. It will end on 2nd November. So a day late and a dollar short on this one I believe.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥⚡Masternode⚡Obfuscation,Seesaw⚡Zerocoin implementation soon⚡Xevan on: November 02, 2017, 01:05:05 PM
Wow, the price plummeted after significant pump recent weeks.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solaris/
However, Solaris project is very promising with some interesting features, including Seasaw, InsntantX, privateSend, masternodes. I will follow the project for sure. I am in.

Yeah I expected the price to correct after that last rise up touching $2 a XLR, now its a question of how much will it correct? But regardless I plan to accumulate more XLR as it corrects down but if I had to guess I would say a $1 is the new floor for it. I could be wrong and it could continue to drop until ZeroSolaris is implemented; that should bring the attention back to it but thats only a guess. SO far the community vote is not looking too good for crypto-bridge add if I was their devs and I saw the community poll results I don't think I would move forward tbh.  Sad

The price dropped because for the past month those mining Solaris Xevan and/or Masternodes, have not had a good exchange to sell it on. When a coin has such a small market cap it doesn't take very many people dumping a months worth of coins gained to make the price drop significantly. I expect it will go up again before too long.

The main drive for drop now is BTC... thats why ALL markets are beeing slashed.

I expected it to correct anyways as we got closer to the swap out date for coinexchange tbh there is an ole skool sayin of buy on rumor sell on news. I believe that still holds very true in todays market but XLR is still an easy pick plan to join the signature campaign and work for a second MN easy money imo. But with all the praise aside we ready do need a better exchange  Cheesy Cheesy like I love coinexchange and all but we need multiple outlets if we are ever gonna get noticed amongst the wave of shitcoins out there.
