201  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you mine your own transactions? on: April 09, 2017, 11:11:23 PM
When you set up Bitcoin mining, is it possible to mine only a specific transaction or is it random? Thanks!

It is but it is pretty impossible for you to mine a single block.

If you have mined that block though, you can include single transactions, even if the fees are below industry average. That is why ViaBTC has this free transaction accelerator, they simply put your transaction into their block once they mine one. BTC.com also has a transaction accelerator, but that site charges you for doing it whilst Viabtc doesn't.

But again, are you really going to mine a block? unlikely.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: April 09, 2017, 11:09:16 PM
People who sold to early is probably crying over their losses right now.

The price has recovered to $1,200+. Which is a figure that even I haven't anticipated even though I'm a bitcoin bull all the way, as I thought that there was a lot of tension going on between Bitcoin Unlimited and the core supporters.

Anyways, this is only more good news for bitcoin bag holders like me.

Long live the bitcoin!
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitCurrency - BTCR - 37% Annual Interest - PoS - Trading on NovaExchange on: April 09, 2017, 11:07:40 PM
Looks good. BitCurrency is a pretty good name to be honest to have.

The thing is that Nova has a ton of shitcoins and you should aim to get it up on a bigger exchange, say Bittrex as soon as possible. Then it'll be interesting from that point onwards.

Good luck with the revival!
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: April 08, 2017, 11:50:09 PM
Recently, I've been trading bitcoins on btc-e, earning only a little, yes, very little, except the fees that btc-e takes.

Besides trading, are there any good method to earn bitcoins?   Thanks.

A lot of ways.

The easiest way would be to simply collect your coins from a faucet. However this isnt the best way at all. As you get more experienced with using bitcoin you will realise that faucets are a waste of time.

Then there are signature campaigns. A bit better but don't take it as a full time job. Expect to earn some money for the weekend not something you can depend on to pay your bills.

The best way would be to work for bitcoin as a freelancer. But this requires skills. If you are bilingual then you can try to be a translator, if you are fast at typing you should look into data entry jobs, etc.

Bump

I will take a vouch copy as well.

Keep in mind that nobody will trust a junior member with 0 trust with their savings. Someone has to review it first.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: April 07, 2017, 11:59:55 PM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

A lot of reasons.

People shouldn't trust fiat especcially when it is obvious that a collapse is happening soon. There is really no way that fiat is going to be around in, say 100 years or even 50 years for the sake of the discussion.

Whilst bitcoin will always be here, because it is decentralied.

Nobody can abuse it. Nobody can just run a printer overnight and wake up with a ton of bitcoins.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: April 07, 2017, 11:59:01 PM
has it ever happened to u that u just had ur wallet opened and suddenly some BTC arrived out of nowhere?

like someone sent it to the wrong address or something?

like suddenly 0.3777 BTC are rolling in but u don't know who sent it, why it was sent and what it is all about?

~CfA~

Yeah.

Once I received like 0.00001 BTC in my wallet for no reason.

But soon I realised it was blockchain spam because the guy who sent it was advertising a gambling site or something like that... Can't remember the specifics.

They send small transactions to every address that is used, thus having cheap advertising.
208  Other / Archival / Re: AdmiralSpot Casino - Claim 10mBTC FREE NO-Deposit BONUS! on: April 07, 2017, 11:56:13 PM
Everybody can take chance its free  Grin

It's free, sure. But I have never heard of a casino offering 1000x wagering requirement on any bonuses.

So just to get that 10 EUR bonus you need to wager 10000 EUR....

Why dont you do it first to show us that it is even worth our time?
209  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: April 07, 2017, 11:54:00 PM
Holding a few decentralised currencies along with a diversified portfolio of other investments is the way to go.

I wouldn't necessarily say that fiat is bad, but it is bad how governments are manipulating and abusing their status as the only entity that is able to issue "REAL MONEY" although it's not really real money.

Decentralised currencies cannot be controlled by anyone. You need to work for that coin. It does not appear out of thin air.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitcoin dice casinos. Is it profitable to have such casino? on: April 07, 2017, 11:52:39 PM
Hello,

I saw that there are so many bitcoin dice gambling sites and new ones starting each day.
So my question is if owning such site is profitable?
How much starting capital would be needed to start dice gambling site?

With probablities in your favour anything is profitable in the long run.

So owning a gambling website would be as well, because of the house edge that it carries.

You need a lot of coins for promotion as well as bankroll though. More than 100 BTC at least if you want a successful one.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: April 06, 2017, 07:18:05 AM
In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin  or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%
But what is your process in this? How do you go about hold and sell timings?

Tell you what, trading is a negative sum game.

You are playing against other players, aka traders, but also you are losing a porportion of your coins towards trading/brokerage fees that the exchange charges, not accounting the information you have is likely to be way less than the big whales in the scene.

So it is almost impossible to predict where it's going to peak.

Remember, never get caught in the hype. The peak price means that someone made a very wise decision to sell, as well as someone making a really dumb decision to buy at the peak. It's both ways.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 06, 2017, 07:16:08 AM
No. What I did is 50% for BTC and 50% for ETH.

That is a good idea.

However a better idea is to probably diversify your investments even more. Maybe put like 33% BTC, 33% USD and 33% Ethereum. Something like that so even if Ethereum and Bitcoin crashes, you've got your USD there that you can buy more crypto at a lower price.

Hedging against your investments with other investments is the best trading decision you can make.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gunbot trading bot on: April 06, 2017, 07:14:08 AM
I'm a very active user of Poloniex and I saw this Gunbot BOT and I was wondering how good is it , I may buy it based on the feedback of users around here. I need something that actually makes me make profit while not having a really big amount of BTC . I have no problem running the BOT 24/7 as I leave it running for other stuff .

Well it really needs a lot of coins to work.

The bot doesn't work that well when there is a big pump or a big dump. It goes for small profits. For example, it buys at 0.01 and sells at 0.0101 or something along the lines like that, and it aims to hold for as little time as possible.

So it should be a medium risk, medium reward situation here.
214  Economy / Services / Re: 20000+ Rich people email list for marketing and email marketing on: April 05, 2017, 05:35:03 AM
I have 20000+ emails of rich people
20000+ email list
you can use this emails for marketing
or you can use this emails for share your referral link for build referrals
so you want buy emails 20000+ emails
 price only 0.06 btc

How do we know that the email list is legit and are actually owned by rich people?

And also have you obtained these people's emails legally? Have you breached any privacy laws by obtaining these emails?

Have you resold the list to other people already?

yes any one can sold its from me.. and its official email list and its legit
its Microsoft exel file
20000+ peoples emails + phone numbers + address + First Name last Name every informations of all people..

What do you mean by an "official email list"?

How can an email list ever be official? Because in reality collecting such full details of people, especially when you are having details like phone numbers, address and first and last names is a very grey area.

Again, how can we know that they're not just random emails that you have gathered off the internet, and actually rich people's emails? How rich are these "rich people"?
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Selling My House to Buy Litecoin on: April 05, 2017, 05:33:20 AM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v5y3icu6YY

This is pretty amazing. This guy somehow nailed it and is now 200% up at least. He somehow saw how the simplicity of Litecoin would be it's killer app. Im not sure if he is aware of segwit and he predicted how segwit would fail for Bitcoin and Litecoin had higher chances at getting it activated and moving a lot of capital there, but in any case, this man went all in and he's now making some killer gains.

Yeah, it is amazing.

However the litecoin price rise is most likely to be a bubble. Honestly i don't think that the coin has any future potential, it's already dead because it is no longer ASIC resistant. And that was the whole point of Litecoin, really.

I wouldn't invest a cent into litecoin, but there are a lot of bag holders of litecoin out there.
216  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can i buy sell here ? any 1 can teach me about buy sell on: April 05, 2017, 05:31:40 AM
how can i buy and sell btc or other products in bitcointalk forum.. and how can i use escrew here for buy and sell... who is best escrew services and how much fees for gud and honest escrew..

You should know because you were selling an email list of like 20,000 "rich people", right?

I suggest that you read all the stickies on this forum before you conduct any trades with anyone.

There are a lot of scammers on this forum. You do not want to get defrauded by them. Trust me i have been scammed before and it is a really really bad feeling. Use escrow. Trustworthy escrows include monbux, SebastianJu and Blazed. However don't trust them with too much, try to always use multisig because we all know what happened with Master-p....

What are the features that you should have in a trading bot for you? Are there any missing features in the bot software you are using?

How should a good bot software be?
main thing is that you should always check that support won't have the access to withdraw your funds. And then you should look at whether or not the algorithm the bot works on is legit, for example Gunbot is a great example of a simple yet working algorithm.
