201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: July 12, 2020, 04:19:45 PM
It's 90% untrue story when new projects failed to launch their project because of COV19 pandemic because every thing about crypto is digital, you can continue development digitally even if the team are in their separate homes, I can still cut some slacks with projects from Italy and France, they are the hot zones of Cov-19 pandemic but what about others??? We have Zoom app thats very good for team to come together and make a plan because of social distancing,. What am I missing guys Huh Am I right or wrong?
You cannot judge anything here in common. This is definitely a case to case scenario but we need to accept almost everywhere the progress of works is being delayed because of pandemic conditions. We must need to accept the reality even they are providing lame excuses. I agree there are a lot of facilities are available right now to work for a team even with social distancing. Currently I am not working for any bounty, this may be the reason why I could not really get what kind of frustration you are facing on.

But by the times of 2018/2019, when I was working for bounties, I had come across many of such excuses like they are delaying for some reason due to unavailability of something and many more; but I got any other option except bearing them. So, this is just a common scenario every bounty hunter usually face; you just need to bear and then move on because this is how usually system works here.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 12, 2020, 08:21:29 AM
Today I asked myself why did I do that back then, I guess it's because I never knew the difference of high quality projects and why some coins make it to top 100, If you are reading this make this your targets
If you look into our usual life, there are similar lessons we can find out. I mean everything we must do only after finding out the reasons and anything without proper due diligence will always end up in vain. So, if you would have found time to analyse on finding out high-quality projects then you might have saved all your time and energy by this time. You simply rushed toward the core part of work by missing out what is actually needed. This can be compared like putting all out efforts for a company which is about to be bankrupted.

I have also mined few coins but I sold them time to time so that I could cover my running costs. This could be the reason why I am finding myself safer even I have engaged with shitcoins in the past. I mean saving for long-term must be good idea but when you are saving a shitcoin for long term then this kind of situation is unavoidable. Simply, due diligence on the worth of the coin is key here.
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures trading on: July 12, 2020, 05:04:17 AM
I have tried and ended up hurting. I lost the whole my capital when trying
futures trading, because futures trading is like playing gambling in my opinion. But since you are ready with all the risks, please try it.
I am really sorry for your losses; honestly I was in plan to get into futures trading by risking as little as 0.01BTC but when you people are not at all recommending to go with I am dropping my plans. Because, earning 0.01BTC is not simple for me and only when I am hopeful to get at least some 20% profits for my risk then I will go for it. I am somehow profitable with spot altcoin trading; I guess must need to be sticking around that alone.

Binance exchanges are the best place to trade futures, using 125x leverage for maximum results.

When more the leverage, more the risk means what is the point of having 125 time leverage from binance' futures trading. I remember some forex platforms are providing  up to 1000x leverage hence we can expect same high leverage on crypto markets as well. But, if we find some strategy to trade profitable in futures then we can make use such high leverages.

Binance is better thsn the other exchange. Because, it is top position and great volume for trading.

If volume is the selection criteria then bitmex must be the choice as they are the first one to introduce derivative trading in this crypto space (please correct me if I am wrong) and more than 70% of crypto futures trading are still happening there.
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 11, 2020, 09:07:04 PM
Whenever I am investing I always have my targets that I want to hit. Sometimes I hit that particular target and sometimes it’s more or less, but as long as you’re making profit, then you’re good to go. It’s not a must that you’re going to make too much of a profit before you sell. There are people who are greedy, and they always wants to make too much profit, but at the end they are usually the ones that would be disappointed, and you will always see them complaining. I have other things that I am into, and when I make profit I use it and invest in other business that will help me grow.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Q2 2020 Performance - Price Gained 78% from March's Plunge on: July 11, 2020, 08:01:54 PM
That’s something I pretty much expected would happen. I even was expecting the price to be more than this by now. But, we always have the virus outbreak to blame, because if it never happened we would have been progressing to a higher level by now. The outbreak just brought the market low. When the hype was going on for the halving, my thought was that it’s going to get a lot of investors convinced and they will start buying Bitcoin, and as the price keeps going up, more and more people will start rushing and buying till the price reaches another peak price.

But now it’s a different story, though I’m still happy that the price has still managed to get up. Big thanks to recent halving, it seems bitcoin has conquered the pandemic and slow economy situations of most countries by considering the bitcoin's stable market prices. It is very rare bitcoin is trading within small range but I guess traders must be hating this as they might have been trapped on both of market directions.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: July 11, 2020, 06:00:51 PM
Anyway there are so many ways on how to learn trading, there are demo on vedio and you can search it in google, but i think it is better to learn trading through friends or relatives it is more safe and you can  learn it very well  because they van guide you.
Yes, you can learn about cryptocurrency trading anywhere. Google can be of help to anyone that wants to learn anything about cryptocurrency trading. There are these websites you can as well go direct to: Cointelegraph has lots of articles on their website that can be of help to beginners, and there is this website – Blockgeeks where I do see some helpful tips/article.

So many of them can help, and when you can’t find a particular thing you want to know about, a search on Google can bring sites that have answered the question. And as for exchanges to use, for those of you that are still newbies I usually recommend Coinbase because it’s easy to understand and it’s a combination of everything you will need; an exchange and a wallet.

Learning is just 20% of what is necessary for successful in trading; we must need more practical knowledge than just learning when it comes about being profitable in trading. Like many people have already mentioned here, demo account must be playing a non-debatable role in making us a pro like traders.
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance compared to other Crypto Exchange. on: July 11, 2020, 08:54:40 AM
Right from the time I got to know about Binance, I don’t think Bittrex should be compared to it, because Binance has always been far much better than the majority of the other exchanges we have. I always see Binance as the number one exchange in the cryptocurrency market, followed by Coinbase before you will arrive on Bittrex and Kraken and the rest of them. In recent times, binance has aquired many exchanges and few crypto related services as well; among them acquiring coinmarketcap website for rumored $400 million must be one worth the mention here. These all makes them how stronger with their business model.

Kraken is another good exchange too, but I will always put Binance as the number among them all. And the good thing about them is that they keep spreading out and adding more new features all the time. They are really doing their best more than most of the exchanges we have. This is my personal opinion, can be a different thing for others.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Cannabis company in Colombia using blockchain for their crops. on: July 09, 2020, 10:03:00 PM
With more people getting anxiety issues during this pandemic, CBD has risen up its sales and this can be the future of blockchain technology being used.

What does it take for companies to use blockchain technology more?
Yay, this is really great. This is the same Symbol from NEM that I saw one wine company is using to track their products in a bid to reduce the rate of counterfeits that are out there in the market. They are using the Blockchain (which is this Symbol) to track their products from production to the marketers. The platform will give access to those who are distributing and they will be able to register every activity on the Blockchain.

Blockchain is really growing and is no longer just about transaction, it’s getting bigger than that. Lots of things are being discovered everyday that we can do with the Blockchain and it is really good. I hope to see more progress in the near future Smiley Smiley.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: July 09, 2020, 06:25:56 PM
In my opinion, if you leave the market free, both good and bad things will happen, but I think that most of them will be bad. You just can't leave them free. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is something different. It's the thing I exclude from this thought, although, we have left it completely free, and we can see the mountains it has created with its price. Something that isn't good for mankind. Again, in my opinion.
Well, you're right, that is how it's expected to be. When something is free you're going to see people doing all sort of things with it. In bitcoin you're free to do whatever you want to do, there are those who have decided that they will be using it for bad purposes and there are also those that are using it for good, just because they want some privacy and they like the fact that sending and receiving money internationally will cost them less and will also be quick.

But don't forget that despite this market/community is a free one, it still doesn't mean that those who commit crime with it can't be brought to justice. So, many of them has been brought to justice already. It means market can be free but to keep the basic moral, we must need to obey certain set of rules so that everyone will keep their limit without breaching into others' freedom. In my opinion, people are already enjoying enough freedom regardless of their financial status hence a free market cannot be their most prioritized one.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 09, 2020, 12:50:00 PM
It's funny how lots of countries are relying on China for almost everything they need. I think it's high time they focus on producing the things they need instead of relying on these people for everything. I do understand it's because the cost is less in China, but they should still try to cut it down, because it's becoming too much.

And as for the Indian government banning Chinese apps, I don't see anything wrong with that. If they believe that those apps are stealing data that they are not meant to, then I don't see anything wrong with them pressing an end button to that. I was saw a video on Twitter about one of the Chinese apps that's doing the same thing.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 07, 2020, 05:43:44 PM
Slots or dice, it depends on your gambling taste.

There are more dice players and websites than slots. I prefer both of them they both are different in their own ways. Dice is more entertaining than slots for me. In both games the odds of any particular number coming up is well known to players and casino alike. The secret is the level of entertainment that you get while playing both the games
Damn right! Comparing it is like you compared poker and blackjack. It will be all depending on the gambler on what will he choose to play, There are some people who think of one of these game is hard and easy, We all have different opinions and experiences about these two games and Fighting over that slots is better than dice is an actual waste of time because it is very subjective. Asking a question might be a nicer way of approach.
I agree but I want to add a few points which might favor dice actually.

1- Slots are mostly live dealer and you have no idea what house edge you are working against and if even those slots are legit or not.

2- Even with provably fair and non-live slots there is usually a larger house edge as compared to dice, for example if I remember right stake operates at 2.93% house edge on slots while only 1% for dice which means after making 1000 bets you are expected to loose more on slots than on dice.

But that said, I agree that certain games are more fun and that is the idea behind creating so many games and why they even exist is because some people love slots.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happens To The Altcoins If Bitcoin Drops Strong? on: July 07, 2020, 04:49:11 PM
hope bitcoin does not go down strongly, because if bitcoin falls it's likely that altcoin prices will also go down,
if you still hold altcoin you should use stop lose
Right, the problem with alts is that unless it is a major altcoin then chances are that if the coin drops it will keep dropping and become dust before even you think if you want to decide to sell or retain it. I have been into many such situations where I have been an emotional fool who would think like the team is working day and night to make the coin stand again but all they are actually doing is to pretend like they are doing a lot while actually selling off their own coins to collect whatever possible before they just go silent.

The entire crypto space is tightly bind with bitcoin prices which means any fluctuation on bitcoin prices will lead to impact on altcoins. This means any strong drop or rise in BTC prices will be seen along with altcoin markets as well. I guess over the time, we will get practiced to this kind of market movements slowly as most people here not finding this as a big concern no more.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 07, 2020, 04:44:28 PM
Looking at the price right now, we could say that price has moved from $9k levels to $9.25k levels and that is really a good improvement. I can't say that says bull run at all because it is only a 3% or so increase and that is nowhere near where we can say it is a bull run, it has to be over 10% to say that but it is at least a good improvement. I would say that we are at least not bear, and "not bear" is as good as bull at this moment.

July has to be just not bear for a month in order to tell people that bitcoin can move better, which is why I believe there is a chance we could maybe not be a bull this month, but prepare ourselves for a bull in August/September if we continue like this. I would say reaching $10k could be the best we could have this month and not that much more honestly.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is based on probability. on: July 07, 2020, 09:46:45 AM
I can't agree more and that's why some people often do find similarities between trading and gambling as the both involves speculating future outcomes. In trading, a lot of things contributes greatly to price movement and you can't have all of them in check by analysing just chart and that's where luck and taking few leaps of faith comes in
People trading with price might be comparable to gambling but someone who trades asset and invests can't even come close to a gambler because there is a reason why Warren Buffet is among the richest and why no gambler has ever made history by winning consistently. You might hit a lottery and break into news but slowly you will loose it all in the long term while in trading you got to make losses and slowly recover it.

Yes people who trade on bitcoin prices blindly and only want to buy and sell all day you might say they are dependent on their luck and probability since they need the market to move in their favor and that is totally based on luck. In fact a few gambling websites allow you to predict the price in next 10 mins and if you predict correct, you win!
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Three basic Market Analysis to Becoming a Successful trader for Newbies on: July 07, 2020, 08:23:53 AM
Sentimental analysis this analysis helps a trader to study investors, whales, market manipulators etc mind on their decision making mood
Although its quite difficult to understand but some knowledge is a prerequisite to become a successful trader.
Finally controlling emotion, fear psychology are all required for  newbie traders.
This is an important factor actually because a lot of guys make trades based on emotions and I was one of the emotional trader a few years back who would get hyped by the price leaps and buy bitcoins only to realize that I have been a victim of FOMO and now I need to understand that I either store the BTC for long time to get profit or I just sell now and adjust myself with small losses.

Anyone can do technical analysis with some study and basic knowledge but having the ability to know yourself and your emotions is hard and requires you to understand yourself better than you understand the market and the charts out there.

Combining these analysis along with money management principles will ensure success in trading. Most people do focus on all types of analysis but do fail at emotion control and money management principles which makes their hard work on market analysis a complete void at the end of the day.
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: July 06, 2020, 09:07:20 PM
Trading could be scary only if you are a newbie, the veterans are actually scared of it too I guess but not the same way. Trading is something that is risky and that risk in it is nature causes a lot of people to back away. Plus the emotional war that goes in a trading situation is just too much for some people.

I would say that if you are really willing to trade, you should have a support system ready, like some sort of thing that relaxes you and makes you forget about the trading part and makes you happy and gets your attention to something else. That way you could do your trade, and if anything goes wrong you wouldn't react quickly but would step away from it for a while and have fun and when you come back it could be all better. That is only thing I can think of that would help people who run away from trading.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's biggest contender? on: July 06, 2020, 08:24:17 PM
I would say that ethereum do not have a proper contender. I mean yes binance has a huge say in it and BNB will definitely go higher in the future because it has probably a million reasons to do that, but that doesn't mean it will take ethereums place. I would see it (removing usdt obviously) at third place above xrp soon, but that's it, it will be ripples biggest contender and not ethereums.

Ethereum is already in second place and already doing great yet it is not going to even slow down, it is working on new stuff to make it better and that means ethereum will not only go up, but it will probably go up a lot more than people expect, like to 500 dollar levels. Which is why I believe that ethereum doesn't really have any rivals right now, it will continue to be altcoin king for a long time.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM on: July 06, 2020, 05:26:09 PM
I'm yet to understand why people still invest in ICO. From the little information I have, I don't see ICO's to be lucrative. Most of the project don't get their softcap and several others tend to abandon the project after getting what they want.
All the points you mentioned are because you invested in the wrong ICO and that is why the question is how to identify the real coin sales and avoiding the fake ones which are only meant to raise funds pay a small exchange and then just run away with no further updates, I still have bad memories with Flux Token .. they just never worked on it Undecided.

People from this community do see one member's success with ICO and they want to copy similar profits so they do start risking their hard earned money with next available ICO with doing enough due diligence. This is what usually happens on most ICO as far as I have seen. This simply helps scam ICO to enjoy easy money.

Try to study the project first before deciding to join. Simply put, a scam project can be seen from its insecure website (Http), offering very high and unreasonable profits, a company whose identity is not clear, and false news that supports it.
Having SSL is not a big deal but yeah it is one of the minor points to keep in mind but not having https doesn't mean too bad either if the project is new because remember when primedice initially launched they didn't had the SSL but they worked it out once they realize their gamblers want that to be implemented.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 06, 2020, 03:57:06 PM
"Much longer" looks like not quite true Cheesy Dude is almost 34 years old, in 5 years he will be 38 and do you really think he could play for another 5 years? Even this year showed that he might be losing a step right now, he is still super talented and all around the most talented player in football right now, but he is losing his speed and that was crucial for him, that quick moves where he is fast but he also doesn't stop to make a move, was the thing that made Messi who he is, now that he is not that fast (still super fast, just not as fast as before) I am not sure they can play him for another 4 years.

I would give max 3 years and he should be either retire at 36, or at worst 37, shouldn't really see 38. Of course this is just what I think, Messi could prove me wrong very easily, he is the best player I have ever watched in my life.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: July 05, 2020, 09:06:35 PM
Betting against Trump could be a bad idea however we have to realize there is a big big difference between today and 2016 plus there is a big difference between electing senator and electing president. Now the thing with Trump is that, he was basically an unknown before 2016, dude wasn't really given any chance and everyone looked at him like it was a joke run and not a serious one, even he is probably shocked that he won it, however because people didn't cared and everyone guaranteed a Hillary win, he took that as an advantage and won.

Now we have Trump as the president for the past 4 years and people are actually scared of having 4 more years of him. I can't say if you should bet on Biden but dude has a clean record, he was VP and honestly that is the only other option available that is not Trump.
