This is of course dependent on your time frame as a trader or investor.

Judging from my point of view the $460 - $500 USD price was a peak.
The price has been declining since. So then, yes this could be the denial phase.

Lately the news about bitcoin's scalability problem has been very negative. Meanwhile the simple moving average is pretty much acting as resistance:



Add to this that on larger time frames the MACD is close to suggesting the price to break down and you will understand that I remain bearish.

I can definitely see a big pump 1 or 2 months from halving. But we are far from this event so in the meantime a lot can and will happen.

That could take quite some time.
