201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the long awaited bull run? on: November 25, 2020, 01:22:11 PM
Yes, I think it is. Each and every coin may not see a price increment but top coins will definitely will. People have become familiar with cryptocurrency investment and they don't tend to invest in something they have just yesterday. But this time, this run is going to be here for longer than the previous time.
I agree with you, I also feel that maybe this bull run will be much better when compared to 2017. This time more people are interested in crypto, a lot of major parties have joined and I'm sure this will make this bull run even stronger.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 11:59:12 AM
Gold is hard to acquire and the price doesn't have much that room to grow at the moment, meanwhile bitcoin is on a great run and will surpass it's all time high this year or next year. So good investment for now is obviously bitcoin.
It's a really good investment if you bought it "a few months ago" but for now it might be a little too late as the price is already high. gold is not suitable as an investment, but rather a savings. A stable value makes gold not a good investment unless you have a large budget
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: November 24, 2020, 11:54:21 AM
Pretty good, some went up due to the effects of ethereum getting better. I wish I had money and could buy a lot of coins a few months ago, on the other hand my work in the real world wasn't lucky enough so I can only hope in my current portfolio.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 11:47:41 AM
For now XRP may be a little late, but you may still have a chance. Polkadot, chainlink, Neo and Cardano are pretty good choices in my opinion. There are several other options that might be considered such as XLM and EOS
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: November 24, 2020, 11:44:57 AM
One month ago I had 200 Ripple bought during dump. Unfortunately, we were in need due to typhoons and covid. I haven't choice but to sold my ripple to survive and buy the necessary things for my parents and siblings. Now Ripple is in pump, I feel really bad but I must accept the fact that I cannot return the past. Life must go on despite of regrets.
I'm sorry about what happened to you. but it's what it's right, we also can't predict exactly about this ripple, I personally don't really like ripple because they are centralized coin, but as an investment they are quite good
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: November 24, 2020, 11:42:33 AM
Top 30 coins in coinmarketcap could give you a nice feeling of investment. Top coins are good for long term holding until the fully growth of bull run. Patient is must if you buy those coins for long term. You can also choose some potential defi tokens that possess real transparency success. The pump and dump constantly happening you should accept that thing.
I think some defi projects are not suitable for long-term because most of them are very volatile, but some projects like yearn and curve can be considered because they do have good real use cases
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Mathematics and economy on: November 23, 2020, 02:00:21 PM
Mathematics is indeed quite important, but if you ask about factories, it will relate to human resources, where there are many workers that can be accommodated, investors will always build factories there. ofcourse mathematics also plays a role here, but in relatively small portions
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: November 23, 2020, 01:51:29 PM
Emotional trading should be targeted. Emotional trading is a very bad habit. When some profit comes from one trade, I open another trade. Or when I lose from trade, I open my new trade.  Repeatedly trading is a big mistake for traders. It is not right to open more than one or two trades a day.

Trading is indeed a difficult thing but it can be easy when you control your emotions,
emotions are a tough opponent for a trader, especially when the price of Altcoin or Bitcoin goes down and gives panic,
traders will find it difficult to control their emotions, and I guarantee panic will happen to ourselves.
Panic is one of the big factors that will lead to defeat, but you also have to know that being too good to be true is also dangerous, don't have too high expectations, if it's enough, just profit right away and don't delay the opportunity, profit is profit.
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 23, 2020, 01:47:38 PM
At the moment, I would not advise investing in bitcoin, because bitcoin has already grown very much in price for the entire 2020 and at any moment the bitcoin price may start to fall, so I advise you to wait until the bitcoin price will start to fall and then calmly start investing in bitcoin.
Market cycles as well as corrections will continue, but we cannot be sure when that time will come. but for now it is too late to invest in bitcoin considering that bitcoin is already at a high enough level with a positive trend
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 23, 2020, 01:44:35 PM
XRP once replaced ETH, but this is difficult to repeat unless it returns to ATH. ETH is now very solid, the coin has a version to look forward to next year.
At that time I thought it was because the market was still immature. But now it's different, investors are able to distinguish centralization and decentralization clearly and maybe in the case of XRP beating Ethereum it will never be repeated.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 23, 2020, 01:42:32 PM
IEO is currently still the best option (in my opinion). Some exchanges such as Binance and KuCoin have good methods of attracting organic investors' attention, and it proves that IEOs are better structured than ICOs. Maybe in some cases ICO is more profitable, but overall IEO is superior
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 22, 2020, 12:37:33 PM
Emotion and greed are one of the things that make trading or investing chaotic,
I have experienced this, when the price has gone up and I am still not satisfied,
the result is that I only lose because the price suddenly dumps, you must be dont be greedy.
Actually, this is one of human nature to continue to want to make a profit, but we also have to be aware that it can lead to losses. try to be patient and also look for the right momentum, how can we adjust the situation to the investment we have, so that we can get the appropriate profit
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a better fit for payment solutions? on: November 22, 2020, 12:32:21 PM
Actually, XRP is much more different than BTC and ETH. XRP was designed to serve as a jurisdiction-neutral asset and like Ripple’s CTO said that XRP will be a key to an ecosystem of digital assets. I think a stable coin is much more suitable as a payments solution rather than XRP, XLM, or any other digital currency.
Totally agree, XRP doesn't have enough credibility as a centralized coin. stablecoins on the other hand are much safer from inflation, and they can also be a definite measuring tool because their value is stable and does not decrease or increase.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 22, 2020, 12:30:06 PM
Right now I'm sure that every countries in the world are fully aware of what crypto did in the pandemic period this year, it's the reason why adoption rate is climbing up so fast today, crypto have proved to be stronger than other assets in the world today, blockchain is needed in most countries today to get rid of hardship and poverty, I don't see how a president will do such stupid thing
Maybe not stupid, but it's like a negative view that has been almost a long time ago. Most people still doubt crypto because they see many scam projects that tarnish the credibility of crypto. and with this pandemic, crypto has little to prove that crypto is capable of being one of the most useful and credible technologies.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are your top 5 coins for HODL? on: November 22, 2020, 12:26:25 PM
Bitcoin, Chainlink, Polkadot and Ethereum. I see from the trend and also the possibility of profit, I think the four coins that I mentioned above have been proven to be profitable for investment. maybe BNB is also quite good as an investment considering they have a good track record

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 19, 2020, 04:29:23 PM
I agree with you due to the high fee, especially when making any transaction in UniSwap. Sometimes it shows in hundreds of dollars. I think this is the Uniswap type website side fee?
Ethereum will have a major update soon, gas fees issue should be resolved by ethereum 2.0. I also don't think that people will easily leave Ethereum considering that Ethereum is one of the strongest top coins today.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about day trading Eth? on: November 19, 2020, 04:26:32 PM
As I have some experience in trading I will highly recommend you to don't forget to put stoploss because this market is highly fluctuated nobody knows when you lose big money or make big money so don't take too much risk
Yeah I mean ethereum has quite low fluctuations when compared to other top coins. but it doesn't matter, in my opinion eth trading is less profitable, that's all. it's better to look for good coins (top 20 or top 30) with decent fluctuations but capable of making good profits
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 19, 2020, 03:13:44 PM
In terms of profit making bitcoin has the highest win here, gold has no high price revaluation like Bitcoin and Bitcoin creates more opportunities to earn than gold, buy low and sell high is what makes bitcoin and even many altcoins a better investment
Gold is always better for savings because of its excellent value and bitcoin is always a good investment if you can afford to buy at the right time. I'm sure a lot of people made a fortune when they bought bitcoin for $3k a few months ago
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 19, 2020, 03:08:51 PM
the difference is made from their own team, even though they are anonymous if the progress of the development always goes well then that is not a problem, because there are also many scams project who are not anonymous,
and ironic I hear many cases about the CEO of a project just running away when the ICO is over.
Team identity is actually an important consideration in investing, it is true that there are several successful anonymous projects and also projects with non-anonymous teams that become scams. but we also have to know that the weight of the team in it is very important, because without us knowing the weight of the team, it is like making a stupid bet
