The PPCoin wallet is constantly using one thread of my CPU, any way of turning it (whatever it is doing) off?

In response to the drastic increase in LTC prices, we have adjusted the withdrawal fees for LTC. the Litecoin withdrawal fee is reduced to 0.1

Volume has been picking up pretty nicely in the past two weeks. Awesome. Good for the investors in Vircurex shares.

If you go to the menu "Account" then there is a sub menu "History" which shows the account movements, not only your deposits but all your account movements.

Is that a onetime requirement or should it be a permanent feature? Whats the timeframe you are looking for?

Servers are back online again, though it might take upto 15 Minutes for all the wallets to be backup up again.

No unfortunately the current downtime is unplanned and the datacenter service provider is investigating why the node went down.
|
|
|
Update: Its confirmed to be a Datacenter issue, waiting for the service provider to investigate and fix it.

After replacing PPCoin daemon with the new 0.3.0 version I get the following error on starting the wallet:
************************ EXCEPTION: 11DbException Db::open: Invalid argument ppcoin in AppInit()
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'DbException' what(): Db::open: Invalid argument
Even replacing the 0.3.0 version with the previous 0.2 version the error maintains.
What's wrong?

Yes it was a bug that cause that one transaction. We have reversed the transaction and credited/debited the affected accounts accordingly. The root cause has been identified and we will be implementing the fix this evening.

A few changes will be published this week (mainly technically, hence not directly visible to the users but help with the overall performance): - Yubikey integration - Apache replaced with Nginx - Asynchronous emails which will provide a much faster trading experience (for trades that affect multiple transactions)
As for the UI, a very tricky topic, balancing simplicity with wealth of information is easier said than done. I am trying to prototype a UI based on Bootstrap but it isn't going as fast (or as effective) as I wish.

I increased the maxconnections and restarted the wallet, things seem moving again.

I can confirm that the IXC block chain is not progressing on my side. The DVC is progressing slowly.
To be on the safe side we have temporarily stopped the processing of IXC and DVC deposits and withdrawals.

IPO coming to a closing end of Feb 28th. Based on the current BTC price of 32.50 USD I have adjusted the required share numbers:
Total issued: 29500 Free Float: 8550
As of now we have 8538 shares sold, thus I'll make up for the difference if we don't reach the 8550. Thus I'll leave the IPO running till end of Sunday to offer a last minute opportunity for share purchases.
I was wondering about that...as I purchased some shares, and nothing happened on 28th....you should put announcements on the Listing/book build page also as soon as I saw VCX was listed I though what about crypto surley it should list on itself? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Announcement? Good point, done. Listing CS? Something I might follow up on in some time, once all the promised changes for VCX have been done (incorporation, various new features, new fiat currency support, etc.)

I will make the final amendmend after the IPO deadline, based on the BTC price. Looks as if it is around 30 USD per BTC, thus the numbers are correct and I will be adjusting the numbers on the exchange accordingly because it is not possible to change the quantities of an existing placed order.

One more week to end of IPO. We still have a number of shares to sell.
