I know only one example of the opportunity to buy tokens on the exchange before the end of ICO. But the trick was that you could buy tokens; sell opportunity was not Grin.
In this trick, except for listing there is nothing. I have seen projects that have done and are doing this now, and this does not bring them anything extraordinary.
Well, if team distribute tokens in an agreement with the exchange, it is quite possible that until the end of the ICO they can make the listing. But users should not sell until the end of the sale. This can be done with a smart contract.

I guess it would be very beneficial to any cryptocurrency project to have a wider distribution as possible. Imho.

As for me, I could chose to opt to give the team some time, maybe within  3 - 6 months to make this project more solid then after that, I could make an assessment if they  have achieved their goals as expected by the community.

Any new updates on this project? I hope they could provide regular updates or news that will make the community excited. Smiley
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🚀 TrustED🚀 Academic Credential Verification on Blockchain on: November 23, 2018, 11:53:48 PM

The scope of the project can be much wider than just checking documents. But such changes can be only after a successful launch.

I think that many users and investors will not lose sight of this team and will be interested in the further development of the project. Because this application is new, and can still bring many benefits to society.

The idea is very usefull and can be used in many spheres. It is good for the private companies and for state organisations.

Yeah, this project sounds interesting but it needs the real support of the community including its partners to be able to move forward. Another aspect is that the team should have the capacity, dedication and perseverance to implement this project successfully.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NAYA] ENGINEER.AI - CREATE YOUR OWN SOFTWARE on: November 23, 2018, 11:45:43 PM
HOW promising do you think this project looks to someone who's not big into software development? Is it for tech-savvy people only?
I think anyone with an idea of the kind of software they want to develop can use there platform you don't have to be a tech-savy.

That's cool knowing that this platform is not only intended to those who are not  in line with technology.

Makes it sound like a dream project for me.
I think that the devs have made a very smart choice by not limiting their target audience to people with the technological wherewithal only, y'know?

This may sound like a promising project but the reality is software development is an iterative process and have some complexities and creating instant software may lead to future issues that needs to be attended though I am hoping they could deliver it successfully.

This is what I also thought when I read about this project creating standardized software.

Yeah. There are many stages in software development that needs to be addressed and I was wondering on how would the platform could finally determine the needs of end users? I believe that real software development is an iterative process and not an instant one.

Development is going on and releases are at few months distance but photos from different places from attended event places are good. While there is not more material it is good source of leisure to watch the world from the mark.space team's eye. March is not very far anyway and timing is good as everyone has started to market rebounding in first quarter of next year.

When they finally delivered the platform, I think it could spur huge excitement and enthusiasm towards the project and this could drive the tokens price to go upward and its the reason why I'm still holding my MRK's as I firmly believe on the potential of this project.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]PumaPay - 🚀🚀Comprehensive Blockchain Billing Protocol 🔥🔥 on: November 22, 2018, 10:58:42 PM
PumaPay is joining forces with BitNautic!

PumaPay, the blockchain-based payment protocol providing recurring crypto payments on the Ethereum network, is joining forces with BitNautic, to expand its global network.
Through this strategic partnership, the Swiss-based blockchain platform for the shipping industry has agreed to adopt PumaPay’s crypto-currency payment and billing solution, including accepting crypto payments in PumaPay (PMA) tokens, alongside BitNautic’s native token, the BTNT.

This is an amazing news as I could see that its a great and strategic partnership that will give them benefits and expand their global network and adoption.

In order for a coin to become in demand, it must first be added to the exchange platform. Therefore, it is necessary for the teams of new coins to be taken for listing on small exchanges so that their coins will attract the attention of large exchanges.

I agree with you. Now there are a lot of various exchanges, listing on which is not expensive.
The best way to create demand is to organize a successful project. Exchange does not create demand. Until spring 2018, listing on the exchange could create a short-term pump. Now this also does not work.

I totally agree. A working solid product would ultimately attract supporters and investors alike and that should create an absolute demand even if it is not listed yet on a single exchange.

I guess it would be best if the team could provide some answers and insights to some community queries in here because in that way, mutual interaction will greatly result to a positive outcome to the project.

I think best for that would be telegram group ans team is not very active here on the btctalk thread. It might be connected with the fact that they delayed some things from what i hear, maybe they are reorganising.

Telegram platform is only for instant messaging and ideal for quick and short responses but for an in depth discussion about a topic and exchange of ideas, Bitcointalk.org was optimized for that kind of interaction. Additionally, why would they've created this thread for the project when at the end they may seem just to ignore it?

Update

According to Belos Watches founder Andreas Johansson, SOMA “addresses some big unmet needs in the luxury ecommerce space."

Read the press release:

I'm excited to know that SOMA will be one of the trailblazers and which could bring disruption on how we do shopping online. I think its an online revolution!

As mentioned above, there are such specialties diplomas that are not rolled in other countries. And so you need to be trained again. Here, of course, the project will not be able to help.
In this case, these are not diplomas at all.
In the application, devs can make an additional function to add some data confirming education without a diploma. If possible.

I think this platform is focused primarily on validating and verifying academic credentials by harnessing the power of blockchain technology which includes diplomas and certifications among others. I guess most academic institutions will appreciate it very much.

I really believe in real projects like this one though unfortunately, most of their prices are very low considering the current market slump were experiencing right now but I'll know it will have a rebound eventually.
absolutely right, many real projects are now declining at the price of tokens or coins, this is all due to negative sentiment and instability in bitcoin prices, I am sure PMA will rise again, up to 4% today, its good

Yeah I'm very positive about that but the real question is when it will have a reversal? Furthermore, there are a lot of negative issues surrounding the crypto world and it only helps to further bring those prices down. Shocked

By the way, when will the final mobile apps for Android and IOS platforms are scheduled for launch? Any news about it?

https://trello.com/b/LBdFxyig/utrust-public-product-roadmap

It seems they are on the way to achieve their goals very soon you can find this through official roadmap. They have wonderful spirit and their dev team is already working hard to make this platform functional.

Wow! It seems that the team are really doing their best to make this project become successful. On the other hand, the community support is really solid so this one seems a token to watch out for.

I am now beginning to realize the immense value of this project as a real world application use case of blockchain technology. I think it has a great potential.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🚀 TrustED🚀 Academic Credential Verification on Blockchain on: November 14, 2018, 09:26:13 AM
Does this project already have initial partnerships with universities and other academic institutions?
TrustED already has partnership with the following academic institutions:
Edway
Upgrad
Cyprus international institute of management
PDM University
+4 other Academic Institutions under NDA
And during the pitch at EduTECH, Asia’s largest education conference and exhibition in Singapore, October 8th-11th, TrustED attracted interest from over 10 academic institutions in the Asian region and is in discussions with Moodle, RMIT, and several private academic schools from the regions. The platform is open to new collaborations.

Oh, this is already something. It will be useful for users to know how complete the database is, from which year filling was started. Will there be general information about school databases?

Yeah its a good start and I appreciate your responses to my previous queries as this should enlighten the community more about this project.

PumaPay becomes a Founding Member of the University of Nicosia’s Institute For the Future (IFF) for Advancing Blockchain Research and Development

Great! This is another major milestone for PumaPay- by being a partner to institutions especially in the academe makes them more solid and its a big step towards mainstream adoption of the platform.
