201  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: TomosMining - HIGHEST PAID MINING (BTC->FaucetHub) 5% REF! on: January 12, 2018, 01:18:32 AM
With the crazy BTC fees, is there any way I could get paid in BCH (or other coin) instead of BTC? Thanks
202  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: TomosMining - HIGHEST PAID MINING (BTC->FaucetHub) 5% REF! on: January 10, 2018, 08:37:07 PM

Thanks again Tomos for answering and helping me with all my questions (even the stupid ones)  Tongue

Everything seems to work even usning 4 cores with -t 4

Happy Mining!

New question: How does the referral work or where can I find more info on that? Thanks

when someone uses your referral link and start mining, becoming your referral, you can check statistics for referrals in your balance check page..  not details, only summary.. but still enough info to track how much your referrals earnt for you Smiley

happy mining! Smiley

Stupid question  Grin: The referral link works only for your browser mining?

Less stupid question  Tongue: Is there anyway I can setup "workers" for different PCs to be able to monitor each performance? Thanks

referrals are only for command line mining..
i am not separating workers, but you can add more linked BTC addresses to faucethub and this way you can monitor your workers Smiley
i will add some performance graph soon
Command line mining? I thought for browser mining... how does the pool know whether someone starts CMD mining using my referral or not? Thanks

Also, can I mine from multiple PCs using the same FaucetHUB BTC address, or would I need different BTC addresses? Thanks

it's recommended to mine from more devices to the same BTC address for better performance Smiley

Hi!

I had to download the claymore 3.9 to avoid the error: "The ordinal 75 could not be allocated in the dynamic link library SSLEAY32.dll"
that I was getting...

Now Windows Defender Firewall is blocking "claymore cryptonote cpu miner/claymore cryptonote". Will I still get mining rewards or will they get blocked by firewall? Thanks

yes, follow the FAQ on the page, i hope we found workaround to every problem that can happen Smiley

Thanks for the reply Tomos!

Although the CMD is showing 110 h/s and currently a total of 60k hashes, I am concerned that Windows Defender Firewall that is blocking claymore, will not let my hashes get registered in the pool. Is that the case? How can I know for sure if my hashes are getting registered in the pool or not? Thanks

if you see hashrate, nothing is blocking your traffic to my proxy..
also you can check your balance, open the main page, and third (or second) FAQ: how can i check my balance..  here you can see how much you earned,, values are refreshing every 15 minutes..

Thanks again Tomos for answering and helping me with all my questions (even the stupid ones)  Tongue

209  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: January 04, 2018, 05:04:59 PM
Ouch! I can't believe I just hit 15 Highs in a row on 2.0 Multiplier (47.5% win chance). I just lost almost 0.5 BTC  Shocked

That was like a 0.003% chance of happening, that's about 1 in 32,768 rolls. I guess it happened. Goodbye Multiply BTC  Cry

There are people who even face more than 30 continuous losses in a row. That is the speciality of this dice or ho-low game because you can't predict the results and you feel that you got cheated but when you verify all bets then you will come to know that you're not cheated but it is game of luck. You should always fix some amount which you can afford to lose in this game to avoid big losses. Final advice, don't again go after those losses recover back from this game again. Next time if want play with so much money then better choose a site which has got less house edge.
Thanks for the advice. I previously tried to do that back when I was experimenting with it and lost 0.8 BTC when BTC used to be much cheaper. This time, using martigale (only after getting 3 losses in a row) I thought I knew what I was doing, but I am starting to realise that as long as there is a house edge, there is no way someone could systematically win unless he's just brave and lucky at the same time.
I just looked at my stats and see I have made 41,094 rolls. Even if I kept an eye on that and kept decreasing the starting bid, it would have made much less worthy of playing. in the screenshot above my profit was like 0.0001 BTC per (stressful streak) which was around $1.45... If I wanted to have a threshold for a 21 streak I would have had to have a starting bid of 0.00000186 BTC (around $0.03) per streak... not very worthwhile... Maybe if I had like 100 BTC available, I would play with a 25 streak to relatively safe and actually make some profit... With 100 BTC, I would make 0.00002384 BTC per streak, but then again the game wont allow betting more than 20 BTC Tongue

So I believe the only way to make some money with this game would be to own 40 BTC, use a 25 streak, start after 3rd loss with a starting bid of 0.00000476 BTC and use some bot or script to do the betting (don't use the auto because at 2x multiplier the chance of getting 4 hi (or low) in a row is much lower than getting 1 or 2... But... then again, the probability of getting 25 losses (hi or lo) in a row would be in 0.475^25 which is 1 in 120,965,008, and with a bot/script you would reach that rather soon, and because of the house edge, you would still end up losing more than you started with...

Has anyone really made any good winnings with Multiply BTC? Can anyone demonstrate a decent positive Multiply BTC amount? Mine is almost -1 BTC  Tongue Thanks.

that's why sometimes (if not most of the time) you should do alternate hi-lo bets
alternate bets work well on multiply btc freebitco.in, just need to stay alert when the pattern against it
sometimes you will get long streak of mids roll numbers between 4800-5200 which is black hole Tongue

That won't work more, you can have long loss streaks with alternate as well. In any martingale strategy, or in any strategy btw, whatever the winning odd, the probability to lose n times in a row is never equal to zero. It may be very small, but if you play for a long time, the risk to play this particular losing streak is greater.

I was playing using what I learned in Probability courses with the classic coin-toss example. I think what happened to me is normal as either I have played more than 32k rolls, or the rolls are independent like you ans @Chris314 say. I assumed they are not independent though as my client seed remained the same it is a provably fair game. I thought and still do that the probablilities for this game work the same as they do on coin tosses... i.e. the probablility of getting 15 heads in a row is 0.5^15 and the probability of getting 15 highs with 2x is 0.475^15. Am I wrong is there anyway to convince me otherwise? Thanks
211  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > Buy/Sell/Exchange > + New Markets on: January 04, 2018, 04:16:12 PM
You clearly have great difficulty understanding this.

1. I lost these funds on the initial exchange, when the crypto was appreciating.
2. Me posting on here is to get attention to my complaints, it has been a few days now without reply through formal mechanisms and channels.
3. Stop making stupid assumptions on my behalf (ie me logging numerous tickets today or not understanding the fundematal principles of currency appreciation\depreciation or the fact that I dont already trade on multiple crypto exchanges and know how this works), you aren’t helping. I instantly logged the ticket when I noticed this discrepancy as the quantity of hst received in exchange for ethereum was not correct and resulted in hundreds of dollars disappearing in the exchange.
4. Of course I checked the order section first before logging the ticket.
5. You seem to be more concerned with “defaming” than actually providing a semblance of understanding to my plight, while making up a number of silly scenarios on my behalf which leads me to strongly believe that you are a puppet account since you seem to be of the opinion that I am lying to you for some reason and that the realities documented above have been made up by me somehow? I have no interest in defaming anyone, I just want my missing funds, that’s it?

I have no reason or benefit to defame anyone. My scenarios where not silly, because I have been through them myself years ago. I did not accuse you of lying, maybe you understood so because you failed to present your facts. Why didn't you post any screenshots like I did of the issues I had previously? The only account on this page that looks like a puppet is yours with 4 total posts, makign accusations and claims without any attempt for a proof. I was just trying to help you figure out a solution on your own until you get a response. In all your comments before your last there was no visual/detailed explanation of your problem, no proof, and no indication you had checked the things I advised you to check. You just seem to like being offensive, make accusations with no proof, maybe you don't deserve to be helped. Forgive me for trying to help.

I just learned to mind my own business when chatting with people like you, so good luck.

Good Day Livecoin please can I have feedback to my query?? I have logged several tickets on your website without any response?

Almost 320 dollars of my money has disappeared after buying HST with 0.880743 ethereum i had deposited to you yesterday. Yesterday It shows that i had a USD equivalent balance of 809.08317 dollars but today my balance is 603.01008 and this is not attributed to the crypto devaluating during this period?? I have sent you the transaction id as well via private message.

Please, can you urgently advise what is going on? Can I please get my funds back.

You have 3 lifetime posts on this forum and yet I'm the puppet account? lol

From what I see from your first ever post here is you only had this issue today!

Did you really log a myriad of tickets today? You are probably not the only user did you really expect a same day response? (new ticket submissions bring you back to the bottom of queue, where is your patience?)

Regarding your USD balance, it is a representation of your portfolio value. A simple explanation is that you coins were worth $809, and because of volatility they became worth $609. If you keep an eye on it, it will keep changing every few hours!

Regarding your "HST purchase" did you check if it is still under your orders? Go to https://www.livecoin.net/en/trade/index and scroll down to the MY ORDERS section, make sure all toggle is to the right and see if your "missing" order is still in there (I'm not sure if you are experienced in exchanging, but your price is supposed to be same or lower than the highest sell price for your buy order to go through) I myself made the same mistake when I made my first buy/sell orders (in other exchanges). Just trying to help (I was a newb at some point)... Berating/defaming legit exchanges only hurt everyone. I hope this helps.

EDIT: If it helps you feel better/safer here is my history for today:
213  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > Buy/Sell/Exchange > + New Markets on: January 03, 2018, 07:27:50 PM
The support on this site is abysmal and should serve as a rude awakening to anyone considering using this exchange. No reply to any of the support tickets. Hundreds of dollars, just vanished into thin air and the response one gets is to please log a support ticket when seeking resolution, to ignored tickets. What the actual hell!
After some patience, they responded to my tickets and all withdrawals worked. Maybe they were unresponsive during the holidays, maybe they are undrestaffed, maybe the pressure got to them (there's a lot of impatient users that immediately start exaggerate and start yelling "scam" upon the tiniest inconvenience, but so far I do not see any indication of scam. I think if they wanted to scam me, they would have done it already. That said, everyone shoudl always store their coins in cold wallets to avoid loss of coins due to getting hacked... My Blockchain.info wallet was hacked recently, but luckily it was empty...

If anyone has a problem just submit a detailed ticket (screenshots may help), and give them at least 2 business days to respond (especially during these after-holiday periods). Do not bombard thm with more tickets, because that would bring you back at the end of the ticket queue. Happy New Year!
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New ZiftrCOIN Presale Launched! on: January 03, 2018, 06:25:23 PM
WWW.MyGeoMall.com auction site is accepting ZRC as payment. Just Sign up and List your auction items for free. No fees direct payment.
This site doesnt seem to have any working links

Is there any use or value for this coin?

BTW, ZiftrCoin (ZRC) is listed on https://btcpop.co/Exchange/ZRC

Not a great trading volume, but this will change once recode is launched with new trading pairs and API. If you found this useful, you could use my ref link in my signature to sign up. Thanks
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ZiftrCOIN Release on: January 03, 2018, 06:12:02 PM
Well, I care, and most other ZRC holders do!

After doing a search, I find that ZiftrCoin and GoCoin have merged according to their Twitter: https://twitter.com/ziftrcoin
and according to this Merger Agreement: http://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/2580813
However Ziftr seems to be inactive since the merger.

When some people asked GoCoin about Ziftr, GoCoin replied redirecting the people to contact ZiftrCoin:
https://help.gocoin.com/discussions/questions/24466-ziftr
https://help.gocoin.com/discussions/problems/12092-ziftrcoin-to-gocoin

Did the merger even take place?
Was ZiftrCoin (ZRC) converted to GoPoints?
Is there any use or value for ZRC anymore?
Can it be converted to anything other than exchanging it in BTCpop (in my signature)?

So is LiveCoin a scam? Has anyone recently successfully withdrawn anything from this website? My withdrawal is still "in progress" Losing money while coin is losing value stuck "in progress":

You're trying to withdraw PIVX to wallet: 860734
Do you consider this address correct? You used an incorrect address and still accusing us? What is your accusation?

I don't know where "wallet: 860734" came from, because I did not design or own Livecoin.net. The original PIVX wallet I requested withdraw to was: DM96ZQkCMMnLVQRTcv2Q2DquCGpJfvfU8Y

Did you change the address to "860734" on purpose? If wallet is incorrect, why is it still "in progress" and not cancelled withdrawal?
I am not here to accuse. I am here to do business. Respond to my support ticket at least.

My PIVX has been stuck in this incompetent exchange for almost a week!
How much longer? Huh
The withdrawal was finally declined. Most likely because of incorect wallet address (that I did not enter). This time I took a screenshot. Let's see if Livecoin messes up my withdrawal by changing my withdrawal wallet address to something invalid again:

This time it looks smooth and fast! Again, not sure what happened, but my wd worked this time and the wd remained the same and have actually finally received my very first PIVX  Grin
