201  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 19, 2023, 11:06:53 PM
How did you get your capital to start that business you are doing today? Or do you experience some things like this from your relatives, because to get capital these days is not easy for me, and there are some people all over the world looking for way to get this capital to start a good business but is not easy for them. Can you share your experience on how you get your capital.

Getting capital or starting money to start a business is really a tough challenge for most people due to the fact that we have our own respective financial situations. Lucky for some people that born wealthy in finance they can risks right away some money to start their business or investments.

Aside from problems in getting capital, it's also hard to choose the right business.

Even there's money to start with, there are other factors to consider before setting up a business. We have a small business called "sari-sari store" (basically selling goods and variety of products) here in our place and prior to its inception, it takes about years of saving money.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you bet on when your league is in break? on: November 19, 2023, 10:59:01 PM
So what's your experience with this. When your league is in break, do you tend to try to follow other leagues that you're familiar with, or will you gamble on anything really? I'm interested to hear what other people have to say in this matter.

Yes, as a sports enthusiast, I followed several leagues. When one of my followed leagues is on break, there are other options to choose from when it comes to betting. I'm not the type of bettor who will just jump on betting to other leagues that I'm not familiar with. I will only stick to those I followed leagues.

If there's a time that all of my follow leagues are on break although technically, that won't happen as they have different seasons, simply I will just skip betting. The best example is during the pandemic when most leagues are suspended. There are other gambling types in the first place aside from sports betting.

There are also one-time big events in some sports, for example, boxing. Since I'm a boxing enthusiast, placing a bet here is already on my table.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 19, 2023, 10:52:14 PM
When we talk about a gambler becoming a trader, I think a sports bettor can easily manage to become a good trader as well because the two have a lot of similarities, like one has to do research and analysis for a sports game before betting and the same thing is needed before making a trade, the only difference is that the research is done on players and teams in sports betting and it's done on coins and projects in trading.

I disagree. Regardless of whether a sports bettor or not, entering trading for the first time will be a new environment for them.

There is no such thing that, for example as a sports bettor, they can easily manage to become a good trader. I highly doubt that will be the case once they shift into trading. There are lots of differences in trading and gambling and even a professional gambler or sports bettor will experience a tough challenge dealing with a highly volatile crypto-market the moment they step in.

When I say new environment, it means new approaches, new strategies, new ideas, new plans, different levels of factors, etc., and can't be compared to what the gambler experienced in gambling. These gamblers, of any type, will be successful in gambling if they are really serious on the way to building their respective good trading career.

I think we can't blame the exchange itself sa nangyaring hack. It's just that while technology pagdating sa security is nag-iimprove, enhanced din ang methods ng mga hackers. Pero can't think of a way how these hackers can even breach the system without "kapit sa loob"?

205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck and skill, which is more important for gambling success? on: November 19, 2023, 10:35:11 PM
Those which may like to enjoy some level of success when they gamble have no other option but to try skilled based games, and this is because as attractive as it can be to win in the games in which we rely on our luck completely, since we do not need to do anything in order to win, it is also true we have no control whatsoever over the outcomes we may get by choosing this route, meaning we have to discard it and choose the only option left over the table that allows us to have some control over our gambling outcomes.

It's not that these gamblers have no option but to try skilled-based games but rather, they just gave up on the thinking that luck is always there playing luck-based games. In the first place, luck-based games won't be called luck-based if everything can be controlled and manageable here. Switching to other gambling-games is just fine but make sure they understand what they are dealing with.

For me, I don't want these gamblers to give up playing luck-based games and switch to skilled-based games just because they are running out of luck on the former. In skilled-based games, everything is not that easy, and don't expect that the winning chance is high. However, if that gambler is really serious about focusing on skill-based games, soon they can create a good strategy to win at most.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most important thing in a betting site on: November 19, 2023, 10:29:02 PM
lots of game if you are a slot machine player, attracted UI.

For that specific criteria, gambling sites should be partnered with some of the famous online gambling game providers such as Pragmatic Play, Netent, PG, Evolution (for live tables and roulettes), Hacksaw Gaming, Play N Go, and many more. Just having its own games provided by the gambling site itself is just fine however with the service coming from game providers, it will give a boost to marketing strategy due to the fact that these game providers are popular.

There are also gamblers who want to try their luck on other gambling sites but with the same slot game.

For example, one is lucky at Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus but within a long term playing that game on that site, eventually, luck runs out. Thinking the same luck will happen again, these gamblers will try to chase that on other sites. There are also a mindset where gamblers thinks that "beginners luck" might come out playing on that new site.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you in profit? on: November 18, 2023, 08:00:05 PM
I have noticed some individuals claiming to be successful in gambling.
but, my personal experience with online gambling platform over the past 8 months has been consistently unprofitable
I haven't broken even or made any gains. I'm curious if anyone in our community has actually achieved profitability through gambling. If yes, we can calculate that how much percentage of us are profitable.
I know most of the people pay to win and deposit to recover previous losses.

Don't stress yourself about that. Just be on your usual.

If you try to compute all your losses since the beginning of your gambling habit, it's obvious that you are at a loss, the same goes for the majority of gamblers. Just try to win every time you are in a gambling session on that day. In that way, you are just relaxed and focused to win on that particular session instead of having a goal to recover those previous losses since the beginning.

Surely, there are gamblers around who achieved profit and that was by maintaining win over losses which is actually possible in strategy-based gambling games and sports betting. It will take time though before reaching that stage where a gambler can keep up and maintain their continuous winning streak.
208  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tataas Kaya Ang Awareness Ng MgaTao Sa Bitcoin Kung May Mga Billboard on: November 12, 2023, 11:29:30 PM

I think it's not that having an impact.

Billboard Advertising Costs in the Philippines in 2023

Basta mag-bull run lang, sapat ng key to awareness iyon. Remember iyong road from $900 to $20,000 nung 2017? Napansin ko that time na ang daming naging aware kay Bitcoin dito sa paligid ko and if nung una wala sila paki, nung nag bull run, panay na tanong sa akin kung ano ba talaga ang Bitcoin in general.
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑 CoinRoyale.com - Original Bitcoin Casino | Trusted Since 2013 ✔️ on: November 12, 2023, 10:54:15 PM
CoinRoyale team,

Any chance to adopt gambling games from popular game providers such as PP, PG, KA, etc to name a few? Most slot players do have their own set of collections of what games they are lucky and they try to repeat that luck in every gambling site platform having that games.

..such as chatroom, auto betting, etc?

There's an auto-betting feature on Slots as it should be. Dice, maybe it's good that there's no auto-betting there. The minimum bet there is 100 sats. It will kill anyone's pocket quickly with auto betting lol. Other games though don't need auto-betting.

Chatroom, yes that would be nice. As long as it has a good system filtering inappropriate words.
210  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 12, 2023, 10:22:02 PM
Via coins.ph kasi nakita kong pinakamadaling way.

211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use bitcoin when gambling? on: November 12, 2023, 10:01:49 PM
I'm making this poll to see what form of payment is the most preferred by people here. Given that gambling is a popular and practical use of bitcoin, I'm interested to see what percentage of people still have it as their preferred funding method and perhaps for what reasons.

I've been using BNB deposits mostly in my crypto-gambling activity for about a month now. User-friendly minimum deposit too for casual average gamblers using Binance exchange as the minimum withdrawal for BNB is just around 0.02BNB.

Bitcoin fees are spiking up and as we speak it rose to around $6. Exactly last week from now, if I remember correctly, the fees are playing around $3, and the prior week on that, around $1.5. What an increase. Aside from that, even using the average fees for a supposed quick confirmation time, it still takes time. To rush the process, I need to rebroadcast my transaction which will take more fees.

Every cents matter in my Gambling session so I choose to play with BNB for now. As usual, my way of betting is always shown in Fiat currency value.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not get scammed by this, specially newcomers. on: November 12, 2023, 09:41:31 PM
So, if you are new to all this, be careful. Don't trust random people claiming to be experts on Quora or anywhere else. They might just be trying to get your private information.

Desperation at its finest. Consulting any random people around to get help.

These people who lost big amounts of BTCs through scams can't think properly because of what happened to them. Their common sense is totally shut down as they are more focused now on anyone or anything that can help them recover their lost crypto.

The fact that they lost that insane amount prior to the scam, means they are really eager to get rich in a quick scheme. I just can't wonder how these people owning lots of BTCs can easily fall to be a prey. They are supposed to be knowledgeable about any scam attempt.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 12, 2023, 08:10:02 PM
Nice advice you got there but I don't think it will be fully understand by most especially those with lack of trading experience yet.

It's better for me to see people commiting mistakes on the way as experiencing it will give them the real feeling of being under that mistake. Since they don't want to repeat the same mistake over and over again, these people will do their best to avoid it or minimize the chances of commiting the same mistake.

There's no perfect trader. Mistakes happened even for those long time trader and knowledgeable ones. No one can fully deal with the crypto market volatility.  As long as these traders learn from their mistakes and trying everything to minimize it from happening again, then they are all good.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For Newbies Interested in Gambling on: November 12, 2023, 07:38:23 PM
I know it's important that these newbies should know the basics before entering the gambling scene but the real deal was in actual gambling. Most newbies won't understand fully those do's and don't in gambling since they are still in the learning process and not experiencing yet the worst things they can probably get in doing gambling.

Just give these newbies time and soon they will know what should do.

Without the actual experience in gambling where they will encounter regrets, dissapointments, losing decent amount of money, emotional stress and any other gambling-related behaviour, they won't learn how to become a better gambler while lurking in gambling.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 12, 2023, 07:19:25 PM
Find those things by yourselves. We can't generalized those things with each other as we are working and living in a different environment. We also have our respective own strategies and approach on how we do gamble in general.

Those things you are looking will be based on our own personal gambling experience. Newbies and newcomers in gambling won't even understand what are those things since they didn't even understand yet the emotion they will probably experience while doing gambling.

As you gamble continuously, you will eventually learn what are the do's and don't when doing gambling.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 12, 2023, 07:05:43 PM
So if a gambler where to go into bitcoin trading, do you think that the experience of taking risk in gambling will be an added advantage to face the risk of bitcoin trading?

Gambling experience might have an added help about understanding the risk in trading.

But I won't call or consider that gambling experience as an advantage because even both gambling and trading are risking money in general, the approach is different because of a simple reason that both don't have the same environment.

Gamblers can be a good trader, that's always possible. But they will become a good trader not because of their gambling experience but rather these gamblers are really just good and serious on to make their trading goals success..
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people ever get tired of trading bitcoin? on: November 12, 2023, 06:44:56 PM
These people that probably get tired from trading Bitcoin might have experienced;

- continuous losing streak resulting in a big loss
- unable to determined the best strategies they can used in a certain trend even trading now for a long period
- lack of seriousness to achieve a good trading stats
- can't afford to ride with a trend due to lack of funds
- financial problem and struggle
- doing several tasks at the same time and can't focus on trading anymore
- being too emotional and can't manage it properly
- just simply give up

Obviously, for these traders to always be active at trading, they should at least have a reason why they are eager to continue and always like being encourage to trade. That was seeing their portfolio having a good run and growing in profit over time regardless.of the trend.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: November 12, 2023, 06:01:38 PM
Many believe that gambling is for young people online as they need thrill and and fun. But I think that even old people can enjoy gambling. There should be any age to retire from gambling at all. One can do this activity and leisure time and thus it does not affect retirement related activities also.

Regarding age, gambling shouldn't have any boundaries and limits.

As long as the gambler, regardless of the age, is responsible, discipline, knows very well what they are doing, not a bullshit piece of gambler, knows their limit, have a good dealing ability with their temptation, able to control their eagerness to play, able to turn gambling into advantage and so on, they can just gamble whenever they want.

Don't mind these gamblers having these traits that I mentioned.

Instead, a person should retire from gambling, not with the age, but if they already fall at the trap of gambling.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sites with bonuses without deposit on: November 12, 2023, 05:45:34 PM
Hello everyone, do you have sites with no deposit bonuses or no deposit free bets?

If you are looking for crypto-gambling sites, I think although not sure, there's only few. But if for online fiat casinos, there are many. I forgot the site I referred to before regarding these sites with no deposit bonus but just spend time getting a help from Google search. There are lots of sites with no deposit bonus and brace yourself on the search results.

Although you need to take note of these;

- supported countries and regions,
- wagering requirement and turnover
- maximum wins (so you won't be surprised if you able to reach $5,000 winnings but you can only cashout $100 lol)
- bonus terms and conditions in general (this is a MUST)

And for online fiat casino, always expect that there's a KYC verification.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Treating bitcoin as a teenager. on: November 12, 2023, 05:33:34 PM
A real and serious nvestors won't be called investors if they don't explore every inch of what would be their investment.

There is no such thing as these investors will be discourage if what will they saw in the Bitcoin community is expectation by everyone that Bitcoin will reach their respective target moon price. Investors have their own reason why should they invest or choose not to invest their money on Bitcoin and it's out of our business anymore.

Just be on your usual. Don't bother with that mindset of yours. We don't need to encourage anyone to invest in Bitcoin.
