Sorry about your NBA special. I guess in a good way me not being able to see specials is saving me a lot of money. Which is good since I can waste it on Jackpots instead lol I missed that the current one started last night tho. I thought Fridays, so I waited until today which is a shame since I was gonna go on Chelsea win. Only 22 players, too, kinda bad I missed it.
It's all good, and that is true lol you'll avoid more losses by missing out on the specials. Despite the extra value on the specials, luck is always there to spoil these bets. Wink

Speaking of specials, i'll probably go with what they're offering for tomorrow, Nuggets to win and Jokic to score 27 points for a total of 2.20 decimal odds from 1.90~. The Timberwolves had one hell of a shooting day in Denver on their first game, and going down 0-2 at home would be a disaster for the Nuggets.

202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 06, 2024, 01:50:21 AM
Going back to the old ways is impossible for casinos when it could put their business at risk. Casinos not demanding KYC is still possible, but it'll be for a short while (and limited to specific users) because they'll have more problems to deal with as they gain success and operate at a higher level. Imagine being in their shoes and your casino doesn't need KYC, then the next few days you guys could be in hot waters because a high roller used questionable funds that trace back to a different person.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 06, 2024, 12:47:04 AM
The site I was chatting on about sports in general had some esports fans on there and they kept saying the ESL Pro League matches really sucked yesterday.
With so many different things going on in sports that tournament was the last on my list to watch. Cheesy
So don't know what they were exactly mentioning about it sucking so hard about.
They're right, the recent matches suck because it's mostly tier 2 teams while the groups that had the most top teams (groups A and B) already ended.

Or they could be referring to the unpredictable results because some decent teams had to fight through the lower bracket and last chance stage.

Nah , I don't think europeans can bet on Apex Legends to be honest and today we have the finals on the biggest Apex Legends tournament. I've also searched on google for at least 2 years now and I cannot find any betting site who will give you odds for Apex Legends and those odds you've found out are from King Of Glory game and has nothing to do with Apex Legends but it was a nice attempt from your side hehe.
Unfortunately, the only way to bet on the ALGS is to go for the fiat bookies.

This round is probably the worst loss i've had with the team only scoring a single point and the score difference is so wide. GG vivekdkhyani, and congrats on your fourth win.

I guess it's back to the drawing table after that one-sided beatdown, and I hope this isn't the beginning of the end for me since i'll be up against another tough opponent.

206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 04, 2024, 12:01:47 AM
I prefer using a desktop because it's easier to multi-task (watching streams, checking out betting group chats, looking up stats, etc.), and in sports betting you always want to avoid having slow internet mainly if you bet on live odds.

I also use my phone to gamble, but the experience is a pain with the 2FA (login, transactions, device verification, etc.) that i'd rather wait until I can get to my desktop or place my bets in advance.

Knicks vs 76ers has got to be the most interesting series of the first round if you ask me, so many swings, spins, twirls, twists and turns, you name it, there is nothing this series didn't offer, I also yearned for a game 7, but that probably would be unfair to NY Knicks they were the better team and duly deserve their spot in Eastern Conference semi-finals.

That's already 2 possible game 7 that have ended with the Indiana Pacers also getting past the Bucks, I really don't see the Cavaliers or the Mavericks series extending to a possible decider in game 7 with the way things have turned out today  Lips sealed
Yeah, i'd say it's up there with the Mavs/Clippers series. The Pacers/Bucks series should've ended within five, but the Pacers couldn't keep up with how the Bucks were shooting the ball well during that game five.

The Magic/Cavs series can easily go the distance since the Cavs never kept their road games close in Orlando, and the last two were like 20+ point wins for the Magic.

But this is in region of you never know right?
That's true, all it takes is for a team to have a shooting regression, and we could have two series going to a game seven.

I agree that there are still many more tough opponents even if Astralis beat FaZe. I like especially MOUZ and NaVi among them. There is no s1mple for NaVi now but it isn't a big problem. The chemistry among the players is really strong.

MOUZ aren't very good in Majors but in LAN tournaments they are incredible.  Smiley
True, even without s1mple their players previously showed they could step up after winning the major.

Mouz is one of the few consistent teams that can always have a deep run in most tournaments, but they must avoid Faze in the early rounds of the playoffs since they're like their kryptonite.

Astralis have guaranteed playing in the quarter finals after beating 3DMAX by 2-0. This 3DMAX team also did a good job so far. However most probably FaZe will beat Virtus.pro first and then 3DMAX had better be ready for their fate.  Smiley  After that we would have another Astralis - FaZe series in the quarter finals.
That depends on how they're placed in the playoffs because based on the previous season of EPL, these teams who qualified in the same group could be placed on the other side of the bracket so they might get eliminated before meeting each other again.

Club Brugge KV was close to holding off Fiorentina for the draw, and now we're all tied up 1-1. I thought i'll have the upper hand in this duel, but the recent results are shifting to my opponent. There are still four questions left, and it all comes down to which side has the better luck.  Wink

I still need the Sixers to win later today to lock in my point in the NBA question since I don't see the Cavs beating the Magic in the other series.

Congrats with your good pick, I guess if Orlando will manage to win their upcoming game and extend the series to a do-or-die game it will be a good long rest for Boston.
Thanks, and yeah they made it look easy throughout the game by winning every quarter against the Heat.

It's nice that most of us are on the Pacers to close out the series and cover the spread. There's no way the Pacers will play that sloppy again, and it'll take some insane luck for the Bucks to shoot above 50% for two games in a row.

And double loaded up on the under in the Knicks game.  Under 201.5.  This series has been hard fought every game and this should be no.different.  slow drawn out game with tight defense every play.
BOL on the Sixers/Knicks under. I also think it should hit since it's an elimination game, and both teams can't afford to make many mistakes in today's game.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: May 02, 2024, 04:38:32 PM
I'd cash that out and lower my bet on the Bucks if I have to continue betting. It's too risky to trust the Bucks on the road, and even if Lillard is playing (based on the current odds movement), I still think the Pacers will close it out no matter what. This is their best chance to end the series, and they might even treat this as an elimination game because home advantage is that important for most teams, and giving the Bucks another chance at home is something they don't want to face again after that 20+ point loss in game five.

Those unexpected results from the top seeds made me lose out on a point. The same goes for the Dortmund match, a 1-0 scoreline is probably the last thing I would expect after scoring tons of goals from the previous round.

On the bright side, I didn't expect our matchup to be mentioned in the latest article.  Grin

The questions Trofo and cryptofrka came up with have been really tricky again.
Those combo choices are always one of the toughest points to earn, and i'd be lucky to get them half right.  Tongue
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You Submit KYC Before You Win Big on: May 02, 2024, 12:07:31 AM
I know casinos do this. I have experienced it too. It is also in their T&C. My question for casino lovers is that instead of waiting until we win big and are asked to submit KYC documents, will you do it before the casino management or administrator request of it? Is there anyone who has gone ahead to fill out and submit their KYC on their account or by asking their customer support for it way before they even start make a request.
I only gamble casually, and my chances of going past a casino's KYC threshold (for example winning $10k) are low, so I won't bother doing it in advance.

I'd assume the high rollers would send their documents to get verified right away to avoid inconveniences because it's only a matter of time until they win something big with their max bet spins. They've probably experienced those situations more than most gamblers so they wouldn't hesitate to get their accounts verified.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 01, 2024, 10:38:23 PM
I'm changing it up a bit this time, instead of the first-half spread i'll go with their first-half team total since their first-half spread is close to -10 and you never know if the Heat switches to desperation mode in this elimination game.

The Celtics are already 3/4 in hitting this first-half total, and the only time they came short was during the previous road game in Miami with 53 points.

215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: May 01, 2024, 03:50:07 PM
Special was very bad actually as the team in the middle was the only one to get the victory and that was just by one point.
The dogs finally showed up and almost went 3/3. The Knicks allowed the Sixers to score six points within the last thirty seconds to secure OT, and the Pacers couldn't close out the series against the Bucks, who are missing Lillard and Giannis.

I was hoping we'd get a Champions League special between Dortmund and PSG, but instead, we got a Mavs special @2.60(Mavs to win and Luka to score 31 points). This is an easy skip after the Clippers won the last meeting to even up the series. They're improving as the series progresses and have a good shot at taking the lead after today's game.

I'm Platinum I VIP and I received 5$ bonus just like last post monthly. Please note that this bonus isn't post or pre monthly. We got this bonus because the lag issue last few days.
I received the same amount since that's what I got from the previous post monthly. It's not much, but i'll gladly welcome these bonuses whenever there are lag problems again. Tongue

Maybe I'll do the same later once I reach the next level since I'm now heading to Platinum III, need to wager about $100k for it but I'll just play normally and I wont force myself to deposit more than usual.
My plan is the same, I still need to grind around 11% more to reach Platinum II, and then after that, i'll only play with whatever bonuses they give out.

Great, my draw paid off in the Real-Bayern question, and the NBA question is about to lean towards the 2 or more after the Sixers pull off the win against the Knicks to extend the series to game six.

I'll need Club Brugge KV to do the same tomorrow to hold off vivekdkhyani from catching up and keep my lead until the first half.  Wink

I guess that's it for me on Pot B, I had to go all out on Real Madrid, thinking it was my best shot at making it to the top 10.  Tongue

My only hope is to gain some points for the Superbru Pool and I think I still have a chance to make it in unless I fall off too much from the overall leaderboards (still waiting for the update to end).
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football/Soccer Winning Strategy on: May 01, 2024, 12:05:49 AM
I used the same strategy a few times to create a small parlay with 2.00+ decimal odds, and it can backfire most of the time because the live odds can bait you into thinking they're that favored while the real odds could be much closer.

You're lucky if you can pull off several small parlay wins through live betting, as blindly taking favored teams can quickly throw away their lead if they're the underdog during the pre-live betting.

Regardless of the downsides, I still recommend the strategy to those who haven't tried it, and always take note of the teams you're live betting.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 30, 2024, 11:04:17 PM
Congrats mate, that was a great analysis as the Celtics easily beat the Miami Heat especially the first half. But even if you bet on the entire game, you will still win because the Celtics have cover +3.5 points from the -10.5 pregame point spread. I think the Miami Heat is done, they lost twice at home, so this game will be over in 5, they are still lucky to have won a single game though.

Anyway, tomorrow I'm interested on betting the Sixers vs Knicks, I think the Sixers are gonna fight for their chance in the series and will avoid to get eliminated, so it's +4.5 Sixers for me.
I appreciate the nice words and Derrick White popped off in the first half and put up almost 20 points, which helped a lot in covering the spread. I agree with you this series is most likely a wrap for the Celtics because the Heat's firepower went down by a lot without Butler.

Best of luck with your Sixers spread. I also think they could cover and likely keep this as close as possible, and it's why I went with the Knicks match-winner instead of the spread.

Edit: Congrats on your Sixers spread, and I can't believe the Knicks threw that game away as Maxey landed some insane shots in the fourth quarter to force an OT win for the Sixers.
