anyone who mines to immediately exchange to fiat have ALWAYS been idiots.

Somehow you relate this to the future of bitcoin?

Are you an idiot who invested into mining at lost? If so i salute you.

The road to sucess of bitcoin is bumpy, and certain over several hills of corpses of idiot "investors"

Loving this week's difficulty.  If they could keep difficulty down during my winter months I would appreciate it Smiley

I personally expanded over winter.  We will see if trend continues if I made right decision.  I just could not pass free/cheap cooling with winter.

I grew and expanded last winter  shrank  this summer and grew back this fall-winter.

Except last winter btc price was double of todays price.... and i bet your mining hashrate does not scale up to the network difficulty either.

See the trend now?

208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI Second round auction of 50,000 btc! Who is gonna win this? on: November 18, 2014, 01:25:35 PM
Just a few questions:

1. Why is it that FBI/USA is the one always chasing these things down and not any other agency from other countries - correct me if i am wrong?

2. Who is to say they did not run the entire operation as a way of getting large sums of BTC?

3. How are they allowed to sell and keep the money/btc for something that in no way belongs to them?

You must be new,

They have something called " civil forfeiture law" that allows them to basically rob anyone (seize your asset even you're not convicted of any crime)

Also all the drug raid's goal is to seize assets/money, they dont want actually narcotic drugs because its worth $0 (they have to burn it). Assets/money will be in their pure profits. They even call it "pennies from heaven"
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Paid $2.5k to Live On Bitcoin: The Brawker Experiment on: November 18, 2014, 01:21:32 PM
Would mainly be for someone that spends a lot of money online.

You can use Brawker to buy GC for most of your local stores. Heck.... i think it covers 90% of my local stores (only avoid mom and pop's shop)
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Paid $2.5k to Live On Bitcoin: The Brawker Experiment on: November 18, 2014, 01:20:29 PM
Think of this as a media marketing campaign guys. They will choose one with the most influential on social network (Youtuber, Tweeter...)

Is his encrypted wallet still in his control? The one with what 600.000 btc in it?

Were I him I would serve my sentence, 600.000 BTC is a good paycheck for ~20 years. + You can read and stuff in prison.

Dont be stupid. You think FED would let you go that easy? They can just tell all the inmates you're holding hundreds of millions in your brain. You will be a living hell.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI Second round auction of 50,000 btc! Who is gonna win this? on: November 18, 2014, 04:17:58 AM
How are they able to auction off his coins when he hasn't been convicted of anything yet?

In America inanimate objects are guilty until proven innocent and cannot defend themselves so they are stolen. You don't even need to be charged with a crime either because the bitcoins and cash can be charged with crimes directly.

You have the option of spending a lot of time and money after you win your innocence to try and reclaim the assets after the fact, many people don't bother though because its an uphill battle that you may not win anyways.

Shocking.....When will American ppl wake up?

Is there anyway to get compensation?  I am still waiting on RMA pumps from syscool and a power harness since other sets fires and burned 2 cards.  The scary thing about the pump is coolant leaks through power cable spot not cracks (It's one of the two I got that stopped working).
I do not think that they will send you something. Better to leave this  syscooling clown a nice  negative feedback.

I've sent three e-mail and no reply for almost two weeks. I am still waiting a 2x power harness andreplacement for  DOA  pump.

syscooling , If you happen to read this, then my orders numbers is
2014102895756
2014102308791
2014101947316
Of course we will send you someting.I didn't receive you email, and I will ask if anyone else have receive that.My email is mk@ysun.net,or you can send me an email with pictures about your pump or any other parts that you have problems.

How do you help a  images of  non-working pump? He looks the same as as my
other five-working pump , Only it did not work since of the arrival .
The first e-mail  been already sent 6. nov, 2014  to   ysun@ysun.net

Before shipped, the pump would be tested more than twice, but the pump was running without water. As a result, some powder may generate. What you need is just wash it with some clean water. If possible, open the pump(the screwdriver is model T8).Mostly,the issue would be settled.

Pump was tested dry? WTF? if you're this stupid then i doubt any QA from your products.

215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 17, 2014, 06:37:06 AM
Hmm tempting, what came to mind was these miners and a small beer fridge cleverly crafted with radiators.

I wonder if the heat sinks would condensate or not?

Still interesting though...
I dont understand - theres two obvious issues:
1) hot surfaces dont get condensation. thats not an issue unless the ambient humidity is like 95%+
2) if you mean to put the radiators inside a fridge, fridges are not designed to remove that much heat, and it would effectively dump the heat (plus ~40% additional cooling losses) out the backside of the fridge.

I'm not sure if its the same in other parts of the world but UK fridges typically use 100-200W when active, and sit active quite a bit of the time. Allows them to use smaller / cheaper / lighter components rather than flashing on and off a 1500W system. Putting 1000W of heat into that isn't going to do much other than toast his C1.

I'm not sure you even fcking know how fridge works  Roll Eyes. But that is non sense. Pls dont post about what you dont understand.

Guy,

Thanks for you and your team on taking care of my general issues (from SP31 RMA's to SP30's running in your DC).
SPTech product and service is exemplary and unmatched.

Sincerely,
Miner454

Agreed, best customer support in the business.  Cool

Shame everything is out of stock tho Sad

Guy,
I have to agree with the above comments, though I have yet to hear from Katya regarding the forms required to RMA my damaged SP20.
I did contact support at which point Barbara informed me that Katya would get in touch with me regarding the aforementioned.
A week has passed since I sent my initial request to the support team, I also sent a follow up email, though no reply yet.
Thank you,
Ski

Wtf? your post contradict itself. Are you agreeing that their service is the best yet you're at the mercy of SP-T to help you with RMA?

No wonder this forum is a scammer's heaven. Getting bent over while saying "YES THANK YOU! "

Here is a new idea: You're a buyer, not a beggar.
217  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-11-14] How Brawker and Purse are solving the Amazon Wishlist Scam on: November 16, 2014, 11:56:16 PM
This is pretty well known, and consumer protection act wont help, Reason is simple, only the purchaser can view and cancel orders. You're not a purchaser hence not a customer of Amazon. The author is just a retard for not knowing this.

This is why, when you use Purse, DO NOT release the coins until you receive the items. Its the purchaser's burden to provide you proof of delivery.
218  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 16, 2014, 11:37:16 PM
Given the shipping cost, I doubt that any RMA stuff will come via UPS. Anyone knows how are they shipping it.

you guys are cracking me up.

Cheap parts come with a price, thats your time. The whole fcking kit is $50 for godsake.
219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 16, 2014, 11:35:08 PM
If I buy one of these can I get a pump setup from elsewhere? Seems like the main issue with these is the syscooling stuff?

I found it hard to get a decent pump quickly.  I ended up going to ebay and lookin at US then zipcode.  I HOPE I get it Monday on two new pumps.  I also ordered a molex to 3 pin fan board.  (Their pump uses 2 with harness and is a 4 wire pump if you use all, i ordered a 3 pin pumps)

The molex to fan board makes where I don't use their harness of death.

wtf is this shit?

Dude, pc watercooling parts are EVERYWHere. I bet you've never done watercooling anything ever b4
220  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The mining rat race on: November 16, 2014, 11:32:45 PM
This is why it was advantageous to get in on the rush early on. Similar to the gold rush in the west. People are still making some money now, otherwise they wouldn't be mining. But not nearly as much as the early pioneers.

Only retards keep comparing bitcoin mining to gold mining.

Early miners dont makes that much if you take buying and holding to consideration. Frankly all the bitcoin richest are not miners. ...ie Roger Ver

Back in the gold rush days, ppl couldnt just buy gold while taking a dump ..... see the difference?
