201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Whether there is a new Yobit fraud coming? on: April 23, 2019, 11:25:52 PM
Fake twitter accounts indeed. I guess you missed to check the twitter usernames, it's obvious that they are fake by just looking at it. Also, the official twitter account should have posted about the new accounts if they are really from Yobit.

Don't trust those twitter and telegram accounts the replies in behalf of any service. There are many fake accounts out there, impersonating the official accounts to scam people.

You said you emailed them, which email address have you contacted?
202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Investors Be Ok With Taking Calculated Risks. on: April 23, 2019, 10:43:41 PM
The problem is that, most people/investors focus on one thing -> profit. IMO before investing, we should always consider both profit and loss. Tbh, much better to think the worse case scenario that might happen (ex. losing all/partial investment amount), prepare yourself (mind & heart). It helps not to expect or regret too much after.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | EDO |EIDOO Wallet - Hybrid Exchange - Marketplace| OVER 80k ETH RAISED | on: April 22, 2019, 10:59:03 PM
Try asking on their telegram group: Eidoo Official Worldwide Chat. Admins might have an answer for you about BNB mainnet. Even I want to ask myself, I can't because the chat isn't accessible to me.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Parity Multisig wallet on: April 22, 2019, 09:59:39 PM
Will mention this beforehand, I neither used parity nor I am knowledgeable of it. However, since you have not gotten any answer yet, I tried googling it and saw their Wiki with this answer:
Parity only allows to watch wallets and interract with them (view and sign transactions, send funds..). It does not allow to create multi-sig wallets.

Also this one which was posted over a year ago:
Currently we only support third-party multisig wallets, and not automatically deploying a new one for you.
You can pick any third-party multisig wallet you trust (those are just smart-contracts controlling the corresponding funds in Ethereum, after all) -- and after deployment you'll be able to add it into the Parity interface.

THis our approach might or might not change in the future.

And an old blog from 2017, Create a Multi-Signature Ethereum wallet using Parity (just to remind you, this is not official from parity)

I am not sure if there were changes now, so you should do further research about it. Tbh, because there was a hack happened last 2017 on parity’s multisig wallet, I do not recommemd that you use it. Please consider using other Multi sig wallet
205  Other / Meta / Re: Leave negative feedback for Yobit spamming? on: April 21, 2019, 03:51:00 PM
I am not in favor of tagging spammers too. Same reason, it wasn't meant for that.

We should rather encourage members to report each spam post they see. It would be hard as we can't please everybody, but it will be good for the forum if ever. You are worried about mods being unable to handle the reports, it seems like they can still handle them atm. When the time comes that they can't I think theymos will make a way.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 21, 2019, 08:06:53 AM
BTW who won the LADA niva giveaway hosted by the waves team? Didn't find any information on twitter.
Afaik it was not announced on a separate tweet on twitter, but you can see the confirmation of Waves here in the reply: https://twitter.com/wavesplatform/status/1119500520564170752 and check this telegram link https://t.me/Wavescommunity/613390.

For full coverage of announcement, watch the replay of the Live Stream (quoted below ↓)

Greetings. The lucky winner of Nivaway contest was announced during the yesterday's WEB 3.0 meetup. Feel free to watch the record here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1cQrWwJE4s

207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Marketplace Problem!!!! on: April 21, 2019, 12:39:54 AM
still 50% from all markets freezed ...
that sucks,  anyone had some info about the progress ?
All updates are posted in their official Twitter account https://www.twitter.com/cryptopia_nz
If there is no new tweet, I doubt that anyone has some info about it. If you have coins/tokens there, you have no other choice but to wait until they go back to full operation.
208  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC Froze My Account, Requires KYC on: April 20, 2019, 02:12:32 PM
Maybe they asked KYC because 177 LTC is a big amount (cosidering it's equivalent $ value). You're actually lucky to receive a reply from them in a short period of time because IIRC, in the past, several users waited for month(s) for that first reply.

For now, you need to wait. Yes easier said than done, but you have no choice. I don't recommend flooding HitBTC with tickets, because it might cause more delay in your request.

Tbh, I didn't have any problem with HitBTC before, but I left considering all the complaints from other users. I thought that I shouldn't wait for that to happen to me as well.

Oh my God! Jesus is Lord! He answered my prayer so quickly. I cannot believe it. They verified and unfroze my account and I just put in a withdrawal and it went through!
Congrats! It seems that HitBTC already improved their service, I hope it would be the same for every case.
Because your problem has been solved, you may now lock the thread.

210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is this mystery deposit of AGES to my alt wallet (marked as spam)? on: April 19, 2019, 12:36:49 AM
There are many Spam airdropped tokens on Waves. You won't see them in other exchanges nor has a standalone wallet. If you received one with "SPAM tag", just ignore it and don't bother to sell. Mostly you will get an error in contract or you need to buy first. You won't be sure if you can sell it after, so you should play safe. IGNORE THEM

211  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE!!! charmcrypt.com on: April 18, 2019, 10:51:15 PM
Yes, he's my friend. He was my neighbor. But I haven't met him for 2 years
There are several possibilities, maybe he is scamming you intentionally or he was fooled by someone else and asked to share the info , etc. I don't know the whole story, but what's for sure is no one will give you 1.5 BTC for noting. It's just a bait for people to deposit in that site. (SCAM)

As said above, the site has been taken down already. You might see another in the future, so be careful and don't be swayed.
212  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia enabled Bitcoin Withdrawals? on: April 18, 2019, 08:02:51 PM
Yes, it is now enabled, but with specific time so you should always check NZST (and the Holiday Schedule) before making a request. See the official announcent posted on twitter:

Deposits and Withdrawals enabled for BTC, LTC and DOGE. Hot Wallet is being topped up manually between 9AM-5PM (NZST) Monday-Friday. Withdrawals will not be available outside of these times or on NZ public holidays (Good Friday 19 April, Easter Monday 22 April, ANZAC Day 25 April

Thanks but if I ask my money today, it's Good Friday tomorrow, then comes Sat-Sun and Monday again is a holiday. I'll get my withdrawal directly on 23rd April. Hope they send it.
Considering the "if", I assume that you have not requested yet. It's already Good Friday in NZ. Imo it would be better if you request it on the exact date (April 23rd). That way, your btc will not be on hold in Withdrawal until then. It's still up to you Smiley
213  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE!!! charmcrypt.com on: April 18, 2019, 02:55:42 PM
Old style scam tactic. I hope no one fall for this kind of scam again, even newbies. You did a good move by demanding him to deposit, it's his money that you'll be withdrawing anyway.  Grin

Nope. I don't fall on that site. I told that guy who message me if he wants his money he needs to make a deposit on my account and then he's gone Grin

Is cryptcharm a scam? I have 1.5 BTC given by my friend in that site. But it's frozen. The site said I need to make a deposit, minimum 0.02 BTC if I want to withdraw it.
One question, is he really your friend?
1.5 BTC is not a small amount, you should have doubt if someone is giving you such.

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN BLACK on: April 18, 2019, 12:26:04 AM
How did you end up picking this alt? Forget about it. The project seems dead, idk. If you check their ANN thread, Medium, and Twitter, last posts/updates were from 1st quarter of 2018.

I agree to this as well:
Give up and don't put your time with such altcoins that are just labeling themselves with 'bitcoin' to get attached to the king and probably get the attention of investors that they all wanted.
216  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinexchange.io - do they have customer support? on: April 17, 2019, 11:49:51 PM
You can also contact them through any of the following:

1. Forum account - CoinExchange.io (Last active: April 16, 2019)
2. Twitter Account - @ce_newsupdates (this account is active and replying to tweets)
3. Discord - https://discord.gg/qDxVD9x

PS. I saw their twitter account posted in their Official Telegram channel which was mentioned in this post with the freshdesk and Discord links.
217  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: bitmedia.io not working? on: April 17, 2019, 04:02:16 PM
I'm not using the site, but it eems to be down for everyone: https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/bitmedia.io
An hour ago, they posted on twitter (via Facebook) about their new design. I think it's the reason, they are (currently) making changes in the code.
218  Economy / Scam Accusations / FAKE 15500 DGTX TOKEN Bonus [PHISHING] on: April 17, 2019, 01:14:34 PM
Digitex Futures Exchange Giveaway page on Facebook is spreading FAKE News and FAKE Giveaway to Phish MEW Users accounts.

The official and legit website of Digitex Futures is: https://digitexfutures.com/
The Phishing website [Archive] might convince others because of the domain name:
Code:
http://digitexfutures.com.claim-token-dgtx.com/

Obvious Red flags:

* The Bonus is too good to be true (worth atleast $1800 as of this writing)
* All the clickable links/button in the Phishing website will take you to that page only (you can check via the Archive link above)
* It will take you to a MEW html instead of the official MEW site and ask for your Private Key

Btw, MEW retweet about this (originally tweeted by @officiallykeith). I saw it there and thought I'd share here.

I know most of us here are aware about Phishing, but there are always people who didn't and might fall for this. Plus, considering the high Bonus amount.

To add, if you have EtherAddressLookUp (or Metamask) Browser extension, you will be saved from most of these Phishing Websites. Take note: I said most, not all, so don't just depend on these extensions, do your part as well. Despite that, I still encourage others to at least add one. You can check this thread for other Extensions: [GUIDE] Use this for identifying Scam/Phishing/ Websites & Exchanges in Crypto

Also, always report Phishing/scam URLs to (atleast):
* Google: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
* etherscamdb: https://etherscamdb.info/report
219  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crypto Exchange Help on: April 16, 2019, 01:44:13 PM
Of all exchanges out there, I wonder how you knew about this exchange? Anyway, the transaction is confirmed already. If it is still not showing in your account, try contacting the exchange via email and not through the contact form. I saw 3 email addresses in their Privacy Policy:

Code:
legal@24crypto.exchange
contact@24crypto.exchange
support@24crypto.exchange

I prefer the 2nd and 3rd one. It's not guaranteed that they will reply, but you can try. Also, I suggest that next time, please search about the site/services first before using, post/reviews will be a (bit of) help to see the credibility of it.
220  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITTREX ACCOUNT GOT HACKED NEED HELP on: April 16, 2019, 12:28:48 PM
When did the hack happened? The relevant logs provided by the support were from the same Date/IP/browser.

Also, just because they can't give you back your funds, doesn't mean that they declined to help you. If they did, they wouldn't have explained all that and just ignore your email. The thing is they really can't do anything about it, transactions are irreversible, remember? Consider doing their suggestions too.
